[Remember] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O Children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of God to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me -
John 14:16, Gospel
[For] I will pray the [Creator], and He will give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever.
John 16:8 - 12, Gospel
And when he has come, he will expose the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement. Of sin, because they do not believe on me; of righteousness, because I go to my [Creator], and you see me no more; of judgement, because the prince of this world is judged. I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
John 16:7, Gospel
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send him to you.
John 15:26, Gospel
[And] when the Comforter has come, whom I will send to you from the [Creator], [even] the Spirit of Truth, which proceeds from the [Creator], he will testify of me.
John 14:26, Gospel
[And] the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Spirit, whom the [Creator] will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you.
John 16:13, Gospel
[And thus,] when he, the Spirit of Truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak of himself; but whatever he will hear, [that] he will speak, and he will show you things to come."
53:2 - 5, Qur'an
[And thus,] your companion [Muhammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred, nor does he speak from [his own] inclination. It is not but a revelation revealed, taught to him by one intense in strength -
26:193 - 197, Qur'an
The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners in a clear Arabic language. And indeed, it is [mentioned] in the Scriptures of former peoples. And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel?
[But] those who have disbelieved say, "You are not a messenger." Say, "Sufficient is God as Witness between me and you, and [the witness of] whoever has knowledge of the Scripture -
[For] the Holy Spirit has brought it down from your Lord in truth to make firm those who believe and as guidance and good tidings to those in submission [to God]."
[So] O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our messenger to make clear to you [the religion] after a period [of suspension] of messengers, lest you say, "There came not to us any bringer of good tidings or a warner." But there has come to you a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And God is over all things Competent.
[So say,] "Our Lord, indeed we have heard a Caller [Comforter] calling to faith, [saying], 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die with the righteous."
Respond to the Caller [Comforter] of God
The Qur'an is Not the Word of a Devil
Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit will Not be Forgiven
It is Indeed Gabriel who has Brought the Qur'an
He will Testify of Jesus
He will Bring All Things to your Remembrance
He will Expose the World of Sin
He will Not Speak of himself
I will Give your Houses to a People who will Come
With Stammering Lips and Another Tongue
No Man having Drunk Old Wine Desires New
The Word of the Lord was Line upon Line
If the Thing does Not Come to Pass
The Prophet who will Speak that which I have Not Commanded will Die
The Kingdom of God will be Given to a Nation Bringing forth Fruits
He will Show of Things to Come
Everything will Come to Pass in the Order Shown
John 14:16, Gospel
[Jesus said,] "And I will pray the [Creator], and He will give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever."
33:45 - 46, Qur'an
O prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And one who calls to God, by His permission, and an illuminating lamp.
46:29- 32, Qur'an
[So] when We directed to you a few of the jinn, listening to the Qur'an. And when they attended it, they said, "Listen quietly." And when it was concluded, they went back to their people as warners. They said, "O our people, indeed we have heard a [recited] Book revealed after Moses confirming what was before it which guides to the truth and to a straight path. Our people, respond to the Caller of God and believe in him; God will forgive for you your sins and protect you from a painful punishment. But he who does not respond to the Caller of God will not cause failure [to Him] upon earth, and he will not have besides Him any protectors. Those are in manifest error."
[So say,] "Our Lord, indeed we have heard a Caller calling to faith, [saying], 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die with the righteous."
43:63 - 65, Qur'an
When Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear God and obey me. Indeed, God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path." But the denominations from among them differed [and separated], so woe to those who have wronged from the punishment of a painful Day.
John 7:12, Gospel
[For] there was much murmuring among the people concerning [Jesus], for some said, "He is a good man." Others said, "No; but he deceives the people."
John 10:20, Gospel
And many of them said, "[Jesus] has a devil, and is mad; why do you hear him?"
John 7:16 - 19, Gospel
Jesus answered them and said, "My doctrine is not mine, but His who sent me." If any man will do His will, he will know of the doctrine, whether it is of God, or [whether] I speak of myself. He who speaks of himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks His glory who sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. Did Moses not give you the law, and [yet] none of you keep the law? Why do you go about to kill me?"
John 7:20, Gospel
The people answered and said, "You have a devil, who goes about to kill you?"
John 8:49 - 50, Gospel
Jesus answered, "I do not have a devil; but I honor the [Creator], and you dishonor me. And I do not seek my own glory, there is One who seeks and judges."
81:25 - 28, Qur'an
And [likewise, the Qur'an] is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]. So where are you going? It is not except a reminder to the worlds for whoever wills among you to take a right course.
68:4 - 7, Qur'an
And indeed, you [O Muhammad] are of a great moral character. So you will see and they will see which of you is the afflicted [by a devil]. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has gone astray from His way, and He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided.
And [indeed,] Jesus and Zacharias and John and Elias - and all were of the righteous.
26:210 - 212, Qur'an
And [thus] the devils have not brought the revelation down. It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed.
26:221 - 223, Qur'an
[So] shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? They descend upon every sinful liar. They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars.
45:7 - 11, Qur'an
[So] woe to every sinful liar, who hears the verses of God recited to him, then persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment. And when he knows anything of Our verses, he takes them in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment. Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides God as allies. And they will have a great punishment. This [Qur'an] is guidance. And those who have disbelieved in the verses of their Lord will have a painful punishment of foul nature.
[Remember] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O Children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of God to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic."
And who is more unjust than one who invents about God a lie or denies His verses? Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed.
26:192 - 197, Qur'an
[For] indeed, [the Qur'an] is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds.
John 14:16 - 17, Gospel
[For Jesus said,] "And I will pray the [Creator], and He will give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; [even] the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see him, neither knows him, but you know him; for he dwells with you, and will be in you."
3:98 - 99, Qur'an
[So] say, "O People of the Scripture, why do you disbelieve in the verses of God while God is Witness over what you do?" [And] say, "O People of the Scripture, why do you avert from the way of God those who believe, seeking to make it [seem] deviant, while you are witnesses [to the truth]? And God is not unaware of what you do -"
[For] those who disbelieve say, "This is not except a falsehood he invented, and another people assisted him in it." But they have committed an injustice and a lie.
16:102 - 105, Qur'an
Say, "The Holy Spirit has brought it down from your Lord in truth to make firm those who believe and as guidance and good tidings to those in submission [to God]." And We certainly know that they say, "It is only a human being who teaches the prophet." The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, and this Qur'an is [in] a clear Arabic language. [But] indeed, those who do not believe in the verses of God - God will not guide them, and for them is a painful punishment. They only invent falsehood who do not believe in the verses of God, and it is those who are the liars.
Matthew 12:31, Gospel
Therefore [Jesus said] to you, "All manner of sin and blasphemy will be forgiven to men, but the blasphemy [against] the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven to men."
Zechariah 7:12, Torah
[For] they made their hearts [as] an adamant stone, unless they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts has sent in His Spirit by the former prophets, therefore a great wrath came from the Lord of hosts.
2:89 - 90, Qur'an
[For] when there came to them a Book from God confirming that which was with them, although before they used to pray for victory against those who disbelieved - but [then] when there came to them that which they recognized, they disbelieved in it; so the curse of God will be upon the disbelievers. How wretched is that for which they sold their souls - that they would disbelieve in what God has revealed through [their] outrage that God would send down His favor upon whom He wills from among His servants. So they returned having [earned] wrath upon wrath. And for the disbelievers is a humiliating punishment.
[For] We do not send the messengers except as bringers of good tidings and warners. And those who disbelieve dispute by [using] falsehood to [attempt to] invalidate thereby the truth and have taken My verses, and that of which they are warned, in ridicule.
[So] indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of God and then died while they were disbelievers - never will God forgive them.
33:39 - 40, Qur'an
[For God loves] those who convey the messages of God and fear Him and do not fear anyone but God. And sufficient is God as Accountant. [And] Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the messenger of God and last of the prophets. And ever is God, of all things, Knowing.
[So] We know that you [O Muhammad], are saddened by what they say. And indeed, they do not call you untruthful, but it is the verses of God that the wrongdoers reject.
38:12 - 14, Qur'an
[For] the people of Noah denied before them, and [the tribe of] 'Aad and Pharaoh, the owner of stakes, and [the tribe of] Thamud and the people of Lot and the companions of the thicket. Those are the companies. Each of them denied the messengers, so My penalty was justified.
[And] the factions differed [concerning Jesus] from among them, so woe to those who disbelieved - from the scene of a tremendous Day.
3:84 - 85, Qur'an
[So] say, "We have believed in God and in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the [twelve] tribes [of Israel], and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are submitting to Him." And whoever desires other than submission [to God] as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.
Except for those who repent after that and correct themselves. For indeed, God is Forgiving and Merciful.
God chooses from the angels messengers and from the people. Indeed, God is Hearing and Seeing.
19:16 - 17, Qur'an
[So] mention, in the Book [the story of] Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place toward the east. And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our angel [Gabriel], and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man.
Luke 1:26 - 27, Gospel
[Whereby] in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name [was] Mary.
[And thus,] the one who guarded her chastity - We breathed into her through Our Spirit [Gabriel], and We made her and her son a sign for the worlds.
Daniel 8:15 - 16, Torah
And [mention] when I, I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me, as the appearance of a man. And I heard a man's voice between [the banks of] Ulai, who called and said, "Gabriel, make this [man] understand the vision."
Luke 1:11 - 13, Gospel
And [mention when] there appeared to [Zacharias] an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense. And when Zacharias saw [him], he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. But the angel said to him, "Do not fear, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elisabeth will bear you a son, and you will call his name John."
19:8 - 10, Qur'an
[Zacharias] said, "My Lord, how will I have a boy when my wife has been barren and I have reached extreme old age?" [The angel] said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, for I created you before, while you were nothing.'" [Zacharias] said, "My Lord, make for me a sign."
Luke 1:19 - 20, Gospel
And the angel, answering, said to him, "I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God; and I am sent to speak to you, and to show you these glad tidings. And, behold, you will be mute, and will not able to speak, until the day that these things will be performed, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their season -
[For] we [angels] descend not except by the order of your Lord. To Him belongs that before us and that behind us and what is in between. And never is your Lord forgetful."
81:19 - 23, Qur'an
[So] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger [who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. And your companion is not [at all] mad. And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon.
2:97 - 100, Qur'an
[So] say, "Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel - it is [indeed] he who has brought [the Qur'an] down upon your heart, by permission of God, confirming that which was before it and as guidance and good tidings for the believers." [So] whoever is an enemy to God and His angels and His messengers and Gabriel and Michael - then indeed, God is an enemy to the disbelievers. And We have certainly revealed to you verses [which are] clear proofs, and no one would deny them except the defiantly disobedient. Is it not [true] that every time they took a covenant, a party of them threw it away? But, [in fact], most of them do not believe.
John 15:26, Gospel
[Jesus said,] "But when the Comforter has come, whom I will send to you from the [Creator], [even] the Spirit of Truth, which proceeds from the [Creator], he will testify of me."
[So testify O Muhammad,] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed God gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to God]. He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous."
3:48 - 49, Qur'an
And He will teach him writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel, and [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], "Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of God. And I cure the blind and the leper, and I give life to the dead - by permission of God. And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.
3:50 - 51, Qur'an
And [I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear God and obey me. Indeed, God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is the straight path.
19:30 - 33, Qur'an
[And] indeed, I am the servant of God [and the Messiah]. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet. And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and charity as long as I remain alive and [made me] dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant. And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I die and the Day I am raised alive -"
[The Day] when God will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, remember My favor upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the Holy Spirit and you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and [remember] when I taught you writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and when you designed from clay [what was] like the form of a bird with My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a bird with My permission; and you healed the blind and the leper with My permission; and when you brought forth the dead with My permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from [killing] you when you came to them with clear proofs and those who disbelieved among them said, "This is not but obvious magic.
And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, 'Believe in Me and in My messenger Jesus.' They said, 'We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are in submission [to God].'"
[So] say, "We have believed in God and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the [twelve] tribes [of Israel] and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are in submission to Him."
[And say,] "Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger Jesus, so register us among the witnesses [to truth]."
1 John 4:2, Gospel
[So] in this you know the Spirit of God, "Every spirit that confesses that Jesus, the Messiah, has come in the flesh, [that] is of God."
John 14:26, Gospel
[Jesus said,] "The Comforter, the Holy Spirit whom the [Creator] will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you."
And [so] We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so are there any who will remember?
[For] it was not [possible] for this Qur'an to be produced by other than God, but [it is] a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of the [former] Scripture, about which there is no doubt, from the Lord of the worlds.
4:163 - 164, Qur'an
[For] indeed, We have revealed to [Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And We revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the [twelve] tribes [of Israel], Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].
[Whereby,] those messengers - some of them We caused to exceed others. Among them were those to whom God spoke, and He raised some of them in degree. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs, and We supported him with the Holy Spirit. If God had willed, those [generations] succeeding them would not have fought each other after the clear proofs had come to them. But they differed, and some of them believed and some of them disbelieved. And if God had willed, they would not have fought each other, but God does what He intends.
[Whereby] We had already taken the covenant of the Children of Israel and had sent to them messengers. Whenever there came to them a messenger with what their souls did not desire, a party [of messengers] they denied, and another party they killed.
47:23, Qur'an [*John 12:40]
[But] those [who do so] are the ones that God has cursed, so He deafened them and blinded their vision.
11:24, Qur'an [*Matthew 13:13 - 16]
[So] the example of the two parties is like the blind and deaf, and the seeing and hearing. Are they equal in comparison? Then, will you not remember?
5:78 - 79, Qur'an [*Luke 11:42 - 52]
[Thus] cursed were those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel by the tongue of Jesus, the son of Mary, and of David. That was because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed. They used not to prevent one another from wrongdoing that they did. How wretched was that which they were doing.
43:63, Qur'an [*Matthew 12:10 - 12]
And [so] when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear God and obey me.
2:91, Qur'an [*John 9:28 - 29, *Matthew 23:34 - 37]
[But] when it is said to them, "Believe in what God has revealed," they say, "We believe [only] in what was revealed to us." And they disbelieve in what came after it, while it is the truth confirming that which is with them. Say, "Then why did you kill the prophets of God before, if you are [indeed] believers?"
[And so] the denominations from among them differed [and separated concerning Jesus], so woe to those who have wronged from the punishment of a painful Day.
7:40, Qur'an [*Matthew 19:24]
[For] indeed, those who deny Our verses and are arrogant toward them - the gates of Heaven will not be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until a camel enters into the eye of a needle. And thus do We recompense the criminals.
90:19, Qur'an [*Matthew 25:41]
[And so] they who disbelieved in Our signs - those are the companions of the left.
57:13, Qur'an [*Matthew 25:1 - 10]
[Whereby] on the Day the hypocrite men and hypocrite women will say to those who believed, "Wait for us that we may acquire some of your light." It will be said, "Go back behind you and seek light." And a wall will be placed between them with a door, its interior containing mercy, but on the outside of it is torment.
[But] the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?
90:13 - 18, Qur'an [*Matthew 25:34 - 40]
It is the freeing of a slave, or feeding an orphan of near relationship on a day of severe hunger or a needy person in misery. And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion. Those are the companions of the right.
24:22, Qur'an [*Luke 6:36 - 37]
[So] let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of God, and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that God should forgive you? And God is Forgiving and Merciful.
3:133 - 134, Qur'an
[So] hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous who restrain anger and who pardon the people and who spend [in the cause of God] during ease and hardship - and God loves the doers of good -
39:74, Qur'an [*Matthew 5:5]
[The ones who] will say, "Praise to God, who has fulfilled for us His promise and made us [meek] inherit the earth, [so] we may settle in Paradise wherever we will. And excellent is the reward of [righteous] workers."
[So] O you who have believed, be supporters of God, as when Jesus, the son of Mary, said to the disciples, "Who are my supporters for God?" The disciples said, "We are supporters of God." And a faction of the Children of Israel believed and a faction disbelieved. So We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became dominant.
John 16:7, Gospel
[Jesus said,] "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send him to you."
[But] when a messenger from God came to them confirming that which was with them, a party of those who had been given the Scripture threw the Scripture of God behind their backs as if they did not know [what it contained] -
John 16:8, Gospel
[For Jesus continued,] "And when [the Comforter] has come, he will expose the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement.
John 16:9, Gospel
Of sin, because they do not believe on me."
[So We cursed them] for their breaking of the covenant and their disbelief in the signs of God and their killing of the prophets without right and their saying, "Our hearts are uncircumcised". Rather, God has sealed them because of their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few.
2:86 - 88, Qur'an
Those are the ones who have bought the life of this world [in exchange] for the Hereafter, so the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be aided. [For] We did certainly give Moses the Book and followed up after him with messengers. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs and supported him with the Holy Spirit. But is it [not] that every time a messenger came to you, with what your souls did not desire, you were arrogant? And a party [of messengers] you denied and another party you killed. And they said, "Our hearts are uncircumcised." But, [in fact], God has cursed them for their disbelief, so little is it that they believe.
John 16:10, Gospel
[Jesus continued, "And when the Comforter has come, he will expose the world] of righteousness, because I go to the [Creator], and you see me no more."
[For] God said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ."
4:157 - 158, Qur'an
[So We cursed them for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of God." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. Rather, God raised him to Himself. And ever is God Almighty and Most Wise.
John 16:11, Gospel
[Jesus continued, "And when the Comforter has come, he will expose the world] of judgement, because the ruler of this world has been judged -"
[For God said to Satan,] "Indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense."
[So Satan] said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected."
38:80- 81, Qur'an
[God] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved until the Day of the time well-known.
38:84 - 88, Qur'an
[And] the truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - [that] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." [So] say, "I do not ask you for [the Qur'an] any payment, and I am not of the pretentious, it is but a reminder to the worlds. And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time."
John 16:13, Gospel
[And Jesus said,] "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of Truth has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak of himself; but whatever he will hear, [that] will he speak,"
53:2 - 5, Qur'an
[Thus,] your companion [Muhammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred, nor does he speak from [his own] inclination. It is not but a revelation revealed, taught to him by one intense in strength -
26:193 - 194, Qur'an
The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down upon your heart [O Muhammad], - that you may be of the warners -
[So] say [O Muhammad], "I do not tell you that I have the depositories of God or that I know the unseen, nor do I tell you that I am an angel. I only follow what is revealed to me." Say, "Is the blind equivalent to the seeing? Then will you not give thought?"
John 7:18, Gospel
"[For] he who speaks of himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks His glory who sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him."
John 12:44, Gospel
[So remember that] Jesus [likewise] cried and said, "He who believes on me, does not believe on me, but on Him who sent me.
John 12:49, Gospel
For I have not spoken of myself; but the [Creator] who sent me, He gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak -"
[For] they cannot precede Him in word, and they act by His command.
John 12:50, Gospel
[And thus Jesus said,] "And I know that His commandment is life everlasting, whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the [Creator] said to me, so I speak."
[So] say [O Muhammad], "I am not something original among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner."
48:8 - 10, Qur'an
[So] indeed, We have sent you as a warner and a bringer of good tidings and a witness that you [people] may believe in God and His messenger and honor him and respect the prophet and exalt God morning and afternoon. Indeed, those who pledge allegiance to you [O Muhammad], - they are actually pledging allegiance to God. The hand of God is over their hands. So he who breaks his word only breaks it to the detriment of himself. And he who fulfills that which he has promised God - He will give him a great reward.
And they say, "Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord?" Has there not come to them evidence of what was in the former Scriptures?
[2 Ezra 1:35], Torah
[For] I will give your houses to a people who will come; who, not having heard of Me yet, will believe Me; [and] to whom I have shown no signs, yet they will do what I have commanded them.
And [so,] when you do not bring them a sign, they say, "Why have you not contrived it?" Say, "I only follow what is revealed to me from my Lord. This [Qur'an] is enlightenment from your Lord and guidance and mercy for a people who believe."
[But] when the truth came to them from Us, they said, "Why was he not given like that which was given to Moses?" Did they not disbelieve in that which was given to Moses before? They said, "[They are but] two works of magic supporting each other, and indeed we are, in both, disbelievers."
Or do they say, "He invented it"? Rather, it is the truth from your Lord, that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you [so] perhaps they will be guided.
[2 Ezra 1:36 - 37], Torah
[And thus] they have seen no prophets, yet they will call their sins to remembrance, and acknowledge them. I take to witness the grace of the people to come, whose little ones rejoice in gladness; and though they have not seen Me with bodily eyes, yet in spirit, they believe the thing that I say.
[Thus,] you are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in God. If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient.
*1 Corinthians 14:21, Gospel
In the law it is written, "With [men of] other tongues and other lips will I speak to this people; and yet for all that they will not hear Me," says the Lord.
*Isaiah 28:11 - 12, Torah
For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this people. To whom He said, "This is the abode with which you may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing," yet they would not hear.
[So] indeed, We have eased [the Qur'an] in your tongue that they might be reminded -
41:3 - 4, Qur'an
A Book whose verses have been detailed, an Arabic Qur'an for a people who know, as a giver of good tidings and a warner; but most of them turn away, so they do not hear.
[So] We certainly know that they say, "It is only a human being who teaches the prophet." The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, and [this Qur'an] is [in] a clear Arabic language.
26:198 - 200, Qur'an
And even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners and he had recited it to them [perfectly], they would [still] not have been believers in it. Thus have We inserted disbelief into the hearts of the criminals.
And [thus] if We had made it a non-Arabic Qur'an, they would have said, "Why are its verses not explained in detail [in our language]? Is it a foreign [recitation] and an Arab [messenger]?" Say, "It is, for those who believe, a guidance and cure." And those who do not believe - in their ears is deafness, and it is upon them blindness. Those are being called from a distant place.
[But] those who follow the messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and forbids them what is wrong and makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits for them the evil and relieves them of their burden and the shackles which were upon them. So they who have believed in him, honored him, supported him and followed the light which was sent down with him - it is those who will be the successful.
And before it was the Scripture of Moses to lead and as a mercy. And this is a confirming Book in an Arabic tongue to warn those who have wronged and as good tidings to the doers of good.
2:105 - 106, Qur'an
Neither those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture nor the polytheists wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord. But God selects for His mercy whom He wills, and God is the possessor of great bounty. We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it. Do you not know that God is over all things Competent?
[For] God eliminates what He wills, or He confirms, and with Him is the Mother of the Book.
[And so] when We substitute a verse in place of a verse - and God is most knowing of what He sends down - they say, "You, are but an inventor [of lies]." But most of them do not know -
[For likewise, when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said,] "[I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear God and obey me."
But the denominations from among them differed [and separated].
Luke 5:36 - 37, Gospel
And [so Jesus] also spoke a parable to them; "No man puts a piece of a new garment upon an old; otherwise then both the new severs, and the piece that was [taken] out of the new does not agree with the old. And no man puts new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and are spilled, and the bottles will perish.
Luke 5:39 - 6:2, Gospel
[And] no man also having drunk old [wine] straightaway desires new, for he says, 'The old is better.'" [So] it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and ate, rubbing [them] in [their] hands. And some of the Pharisees said to them, "Why do you do that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?"
Luke 6:6 - 7, Gospel
[Then] it came to also pass on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught, and there was a man whose right hand was withered. And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
Mark 3:4 - 5, Gospel
[So he said] to them, "Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? To save life, or to kill?" But they held their peace. And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he says to the man, "Stretch forth your hand." And he stretched [it] out, and his hand was restored whole as the other.
Luke 13:14, Gospel
[But] the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said to the people, "There are six days in which men should work, in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day."
Matthew 12:11 - 12, Gospel
[So] he said to them, "What man will there be among you, who will have one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift [it] out? How much then is a man better than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days."
Matthew 12:14, Gospel
[But] the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.
John 9:29, Gospel
[For the Pharisees said,] "We know that God spoke to Moses, [but as for] this [Jesus], we do not know from where he is."
And [thus,] when it is said to them, "Believe in what God has revealed," they say, "We believe [only] in what was revealed to us." And they disbelieve in what came after it, while it is the truth confirming that which is with them. Say, "Then why did you kill the prophets of God before, if you are [indeed] believers?"
43:23 - 24, Qur'an
[So] similarly, We did not send before you any warner into a city except that its affluent said, "Indeed, we found our fathers upon a religion, and we are, in their footsteps, following." [Each warner] said, "Even if I brought you better guidance than that [religion] upon which you found your fathers?" They said, "Indeed we, in that with which you were sent, are disbelievers."
Luke 5:37 - 38, Gospel
[And thus Jesus spoke this parable to them,] "No man puts new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and are spilled, and the bottles will perish. But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved."
And [so] We have revealed to you, the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it. So judge between them by what God has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth. To each of you We prescribed a law and a method. Had God willed, He would have made you one nation [united in religion], but [He intended] to test you in what He has given you; so race to [all that is] good. To God is your return all together, and He will [then] inform you concerning that over which you used to differ.
17:106 - 108, Qur'an
[This is] a Qur'an which We have separated [by intervals] that you might recite it to the people over a prolonged period. And We have sent it down progressively. Say, "Believe in it or do not believe. Indeed, those who were given knowledge before it - when it is recited to them, they fall upon their faces in prostration, and they say, "Exalted is our Lord! Indeed, the promise of our Lord has been fulfilled -"
Isaiah 28:10, Torah
For precept [must be] upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, [and] there a little.
[But] those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly -
9:126 - 127, Qur'an
Do they not see that they are tried every year once or twice but then they do not repent nor do they remember? And whenever a surah is revealed, they look at each other, [saying], "Does anyone see you?" and then they dismiss themselves. God has dismissed their hearts because they are a people who do not understand -
Isaiah 28:13, Torah
[For] the word of the Lord was to them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken and snared and taken.
9:124 - 125, Qur'an
And [thus] whenever a surah is revealed, there are among the hypocrites those who say, "Which of you has this increased faith?" As for those who believed, it has increased them in faith, while they are rejoicing. But as for those in whose hearts is disease, it has [only] increased them in evil [in addition] to their evil. And they will have died while they are disbelievers.
68:44 - 45, Qur'an
So leave Me, with [the matter of] whoever denies the Qur'an. We will progressively lead them [to punishment] from where they do not know. And I will give them time. Indeed, My plan is firm.
Deuteronomy 18:21 - 22, Torah
[So] if you say in your heart, "How will we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?" When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not follow, nor come to pass, that [is] the thing which the Lord has not spoken, [but] the prophet has spoken it presumptuously, you will not be afraid of him.
Acts 5:38 - 39, Gospel
"And now I say to you, 'Refrain from these men, and leave them alone, for if this counsel or this work is of men, it will come to nothing. But if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it; unless you are found to fight against God.'"
Psalms 35:1 - 2, Torah
[So] plead [my cause], O Lord, with those who strive with me, fight against those who fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help.
22:38 - 40, Qur'an
[So] indeed, God defends those who have believed. Indeed, God does not like everyone treacherous and ungrateful. Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, God is competent to give them victory. [They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right - only because they say, "Our Lord is God." And were it not that God checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of God is much mentioned. And God will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, God is Powerful and Almighty.
37:171 - 176, Qur'an
[Thus] Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, [that] indeed, they would be those given victory and [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. So, leave them for a time. And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. Then for Our punishment are they impatient?
[For] they say, "When will this conquest be, if you should be truthful?"
Jeremiah 28:8, Torah
[So say,] "The prophets who have been before me and before You of old, prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence."
32:28 - 30, Qur'an
[So] say, "On the Day of Conquest the belief of those who had disbelieved will not benefit them, nor will they be reprieved." So turn away from them and wait. Indeed, they are waiting.
37:177 - 179, Qur'an
But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the dawn of those who were warned. And leave them for a time. And see, for they are going to see.
[For] certainly has God shown to His messenger the vision in truth. You will surely enter the Sacred Mosque, if God wills, in safety, with your heads shaved and [hair] shortened, not fearing [anyone]. He knew what you did not know and has arranged before that a conquest near [at hand].
9:40 - 41, Qur'an
[Thus] if you do not aid the prophet - God has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out [of Mecca], the second of the two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, "Do not grieve; indeed God is with us." And God sent down His tranquility upon him and supported him with angels you did not see and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of God - that is the highest. And God is Almighty and Most Wise. [So] go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of God. That is better for you, if you only knew.
[And] say to those who have disbelieved [that] if they cease, what has previously occurred will be forgiven for them. But if they return [to hostility] - then the precedent of the former peoples has already taken place -
25:37 - 39, Qur'an
The people of Noah - when they denied the messengers, We drowned them, and We made them a sign for mankind. And We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment. And [We destroyed] 'Aad and Thamud and the companions of the well and many generations between them. And for each We presented examples [as warnings], and each We destroyed with [total] destruction.
33:61 - 62, Qur'an
[Thus they will be] accursed wherever they are found, being seized and massacred completely. This is the established way of God with those who passed on before; and you will not find in the way of God any change.
[So] fight them until there is no [more] oppression and [until] worship is [acknowledged to be] for God. But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the oppressors.
9:13 - 14, Qur'an
[Or] would you not fight a people who broke their oaths and determined to expel the messenger, and they had begun [the attack upon] you the first time? Do you fear them? But God has more right that you should fear Him, if you are [truly] believers. [So] fight them; God will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them.
Deuteronomy 28:7, Torah
[For] the Lord will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be struck before your face, they will come out against you one way, and flee before you seven ways.
Deuteronomy 30:7, Torah
And the Lord your God will put all these curses upon your enemies, and on those who hate you, who persecuted you.
Luke 1:70 - 75, Gospel
[Just] as He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, who have been since the world began, that we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all who hate us; to perform the mercy [promised] to our fathers, and to remember His holy covenant; the oath which He swore to our father Abraham, that He would grant to us, that we, being delivered out of the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear [of our enemies], in holiness and righteousness before Him, all the days of our life.
Deuteronomy 33:27, Torah
[For] the eternal God [is your] refuge, and underneath [are] the everlasting arms, and He will thrust out the enemy from before you; and will say, 'Destroy [them].'
[So] how many a city was stronger than your city [Mecca] which drove you out? We destroyed them; and there was no helper for them.
And you [O Muhammad] did not kill them, but it was God who killed them. And you threw not, when you threw, but it was God who threw that He might test the believers with a good test.
48:1 - 3, Qur'an
[So] indeed, We have given you, a clear conquest, that God may forgive for you what preceded of your sin and what will follow, and complete His favor upon you and guide you to a straight path, and [that] God may aid you with a mighty victory.
Deuteronomy 18:21, Torah
[Again,] if you say in your heart, "How will we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?" -
*Deuteronomy 18:20, Torah
The prophet, who will presume to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who will speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet will die."
Acts 5:36 - 37, Gospel
[So remember that] before these days, Theudas rose up, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves, who was slain; and all as many who obeyed him were scattered and brought to nothing. After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the taxing, and drew many people away after him, he also perished; and all, [even] as many who obeyed him, were dispersed.
Jeremiah 28:15, Torah
[And likewise, remember when] the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, "Hear now, Hananiah; the Lord has not sent you; but you make this people trust in a lie."
Ezekiel 14:9, Torah
[And thus God said,] "If the prophet is deceived when he has spoken a thing, I the Lord have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out My hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of My people Israel."
Jeremiah 28:16 - 17, Torah
Therefore the Lord thus says [concerning Hananiah]; "Behold, I will cast you from off the face of the earth, this year you will die, because you have taught rebellion against the Lord." So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
Psalms 37:38 - 40, Torah
[For] the transgressors will be destroyed together, the end of the wicked will be cut off. But the salvation of the righteous [is] of the Lord, [He is] their strength in the time of trouble. And the Lord will help them, and deliver them, He will deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him.
Psalms 105:15, Torah
[For God said], "Do not touch My anointed [ones], and do My prophets no harm."
[Thus] We will save Our messengers and those who have believed. Thus, it is an obligation upon Us that We save the believers.
Luke 1:70 - 71, Gospel
[For] He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, who have been since the world began, that we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all who hate us.
And [thus] it is He who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them within the area of Mecca after He caused you to overcome them. And ever is God of what you do, Seeing.
O you who have believed, whoever of you should revert from his religion - God will bring forth [in place of them] a people He will love and who will love Him [who are] humble toward the believers, powerful against the disbelievers; they strive in the cause of God and do not fear the blame of a critic. That is the favor of God; He bestows it upon whom He wills. And God is all-Encompassing and Knowing.
[And thus] cursed were those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel by the tongue of David and of Jesus, the son of Mary. That was because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed -
Romans 11:9 - 11, Gospel
[David said,] "Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompense to them. Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see and always bow down their back." I say then, "Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid, but [rather] through their fall, salvation [has come] to the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy."
Matthew 21:43, Gospel
[For Jesus had said,] "Therefore I say to you, 'The kingdom of God will be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.'"
Acts 28:28, Gospel
[So] be it known therefore to you, that the salvation of God is sent to the Gentiles, and [that] they will hear it.
Acts 13:48, Gospel
And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord, and as many who were ordained to eternal life believed.
[But] if He wills, He can do away with you, O people, and bring others [in your place]. And ever is God Competent to do that.
[For] God has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that - then those are the defiantly disobedient.
[So] let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful -
Psalms 33:12, Torah
[For] blessed [is] the nation whose God [is] the Lord; [and] the people [whom] He has chosen for His own inheritance.
Psalms 37:34, Torah
[So] wait on the Lord, and keep His way, and He will exalt you to inherit the land, when the wicked are cut off, you will see [it].
33:25 - 27, Qur'an
And [thus] God repelled those who disbelieved, in their rage, not having obtained any good. And sufficient was God for the believers in battle, and ever is God Powerful and Almighty. And He brought down those who supported them among the People of the Scripture from their fortresses and cast terror into their hearts [so that] a party you killed, and you took captive a party. And He caused you to inherit their land and their homes and their properties and a land which you have not trodden. And ever is God, over all things, Competent.
John 16:12 - 13, Gospel
[And Jesus said,] "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of Truth has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak of himself; but whatsoever he will hear, [that] will he speak, and he will show you things to come."
[So] warn them [O Muhammad], of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded; and [yet], they are in [a state of] heedlessness, and they do not believe.
77:15 - 18, Qur'an
[So] woe, that Day, to the deniers. Did We not destroy the former peoples? Then We will follow them with the later ones. Thus do We deal with the criminals -
38:12 - 14, Qur'an
The people of Noah denied before them, and [the tribe of] 'Aad and Pharaoh, the owner of stakes, and [the tribe of] Thamud and the people of Lot and the companions of the thicket. Those are the companies. Each of them denied the messengers, so My penalty was justified.
And [thus] We had already destroyed generations before you when they wronged, and their messengers had come to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe. Thus do We recompense the criminal people -
[For] those who disbelieved said to their messengers, "We will surely drive you out of our land, or you must return to our religion." So their Lord inspired to them, "We will surely destroy the wrongdoers."
17:76 - 77, Qur'an
[So] indeed, they were about to drive you from the land to evict you therefrom. And then [when they do], they will not remain [there] after you, except for a little. [That is Our] established way for those We had sent before you of Our messengers; and you will not find in Our way any alteration.
Then We fulfilled for them the promise, and We saved [the messengers] and whom We willed and destroyed the transgressors.
Then We made you successors in the land after them so that We may observe how you will do.
And [thus] for every nation is a messenger. So when their messenger comes, it will be judged between them in justice, and they will not be wronged.
[And] for every nation is a [specified] term. So when their time has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it].
[And] indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all -
[Whereby on the Day of Resurrection,] God will save those who feared Him by their attainment; no evil will touch them, nor will they grieve.
77:28 - 29, Qur'an
[But] woe, that Day, to the deniers. [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny -"
67:8 - 10, Qur'an
[Hell] almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into the Blaze, its keepers ask them, "Did there not come to you a warner?" They will say, "Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, 'God has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.'" And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze."
38:87 - 88, Qur'an
[So] it is but a reminder to the worlds. And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time."
I looked until a big sword was given to the sheep [Muhammad] and the sheep went out against all the wild animals to kill them
[Book of Enoch 90:40 - 41], Torah
[Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah said,] "This is the vision which I saw while I was asleep, and I woke up, blessed the Lord of righteousness, and ascribed glory to Him. But after this I wept bitterly and my tears did not stop until I could not endure it. When I looked, they ran down, because of what I saw, for everything will come to pass and be fulfilled, and all the deeds of men, in their order, were shown to me."
[Book of Enoch 85:2 - 3], Torah
[So] Enoch raised his voice and said to his son Methuselah, "To you I speak, my son. Hear my words, and incline your ear to the dream vision of your father. Before I took your mother, Edna, I saw a vision on my bed, and behold, a bull came out of the earth [Adam], and that bull was white. And, after it, a heifer came out [Eve], and with the heifer came two bullocks, and one of them was black [Cain] and the other red [Abel].
[Book of Enoch 85:4], Torah
And that black bullock [Cain] struck the red one [Abel], and pursued it over the earth, and from then on I could not see that red bullock.
[Book of Enoch 89:1 - 3], Torah
[And one, Noah] was born a bull, but became a man, and built for himself a large vessel, and dwelt on it, and three bulls went with him in that vessel, and they were covered over. And, again, I raised my eyes to heaven and saw a high roof with seven water channels on it, and those channels discharged much water into an enclosure. And I looked again, and behold, springs opened on the floor of that large enclosure, and water began to bubble up, and to rise above the floor. And I looked at that enclosure until its whole floor was covered by water.
[Book of Enoch 89:5 - 6], Torah
And all the bulls of that enclosure were gathered together, until I saw how they sank, and were swallowed up, and destroyed, in that water. And that vessel floated on the water, but all the bulls, elephants, camels, and asses sank to the bottom, together with all the animals, so that I could not see them. And they were unable to get out, but were destroyed, and sank into the depths.
[Book of Enoch 89:7 - 8], Torah
And, again, I looked at that vision until those water channels were removed from that high roof, and the chasms of the earth were made level, and other abysses were opened. And the water began to run down into them, until the earth became visible, and that vessel settled on the earth [Mount Judiyy] and the darkness departed, and light appeared.
[Book of Enoch 89:10], Torah
And they began to beget wild animals and birds, so that there arose from them every kind of species, lions, tigers, wolves, dogs, hyenas, wildboars, foxes, badgers, pigs, falcons, vultures, kites, eagles, and ravens. But amongst them was born a white bull [Abraham].
[Book of Enoch 89:11 - 12] Torah
And they began to bite one another but that white bull [Abraham], which was born amongst them, begat a wild ass [Ishmael] and a white bull [Isaac] with it, and the wild asses increased. But that bull [Isaac], which was born from it, begat a black wild boar [Esau] and a white sheep [Jacob], and that wild-boar begat many boars and that sheep [Jacob] begat twelve sheep [Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, Benjamin, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher].
[Book of Enoch 89:13], Torah
And when those twelve sheep [the Children of Israel] had grown, they handed one of their number [Joseph] over to the asses, and those in turn, handed that sheep [Joseph] over to the wolves [the Egyptians]; and that sheep grew up amongst the wolves.

[Book of Enoch 89:15], Torah
And the wolves [the Egyptians] began to make them afraid, and they oppressed them [the Children of Israel] until they made away with their young, and then they threw their young into a river with much water; but those sheep began to cry out because of their young, and to complain to their Lord.
[Book of Enoch 89:16 - 17], Torah
But a sheep [Moses], which had been saved from the wolves [the Egyptians], fled and escaped to the wild asses. And I saw the sheep moaning and crying out, and petitioning the Lord with all their power, until that Lord of the sheep came down at the call of the sheep, from a high room, and came to them, and looked at them. And He called that sheep [Moses], which had fled from the wolves, and spoke to it about the wolves, that it should warn them that they should not touch the sheep [the Children of Israel].
[Book of Enoch 89:18], Torah
And the sheep [Moses] went to the wolves [the Egyptians], in accordance with the word of the Lord, and another sheep [Aaron] met that sheep and went with it. And the two of them together, entered the assembly of those wolves, spoke to them, and warned them that from then on, they should not touch those sheep [the Children of Israel].
[Book of Enoch 89:19 - 20], Torah
And after this, I saw the wolves [the Egyptians], how they acted even more harshly towards the sheep [the Children of Israel], with all their power, and the sheep called out. And their Lord came to the sheep and began to beat those wolves; and the wolves began to moan, but the sheep became silent and from then on they did not cry out.
[Book of Enoch 89:21 - 22], Torah
And I looked at the sheep [the Children of Israel] until they escaped from the wolves [the Egyptians]; but the eyes of the wolves were blinded, and those wolves went out in pursuit of the sheep with all their forces. And the Lord of the sheep went with them, as He led them, and all His sheep followed Him; and His Face was glorious, and His appearance terrible and magnificent.
[Book of Enoch 89:23 - 24], Torah
But the wolves [the Egyptians] began to pursue those sheep [the Children of Israel] until they met them by a stretch of water [the Red Sea]. And that stretch of water was divided, and the water stood on one side, and on the other, before them. And their Lord as He led them, stood between them and the wolves.
[Book of Enoch 89:25 - 27], Torah
And while those wolves [the Egyptians] had not yet seen the sheep [the Children of Israel], they went into the middle of that stretch of water [the Red Sea]; but the wolves pursued the sheep, and those wolves ran after them into that stretch of water. But when they saw the Lord of the sheep, they turned to flee in front of Him; but that stretch of water flowed together again, and suddenly resumed its natural form, and the water swelled up, and rose until it covered those wolves. And I looked until all the wolves that had pursued those sheep were destroyed and drowned.
[Book of Enoch 89:28 - 29], Torah
But the sheep [the Children of Israel] escaped that water, and went to a desert [the wilderness], where there was neither water, nor grass. And they began to open their eyes and see, and I saw the Lord of the sheep pasturing them, and giving them water and grass [manna and quails], and that sheep [Moses] going and leading them. And that sheep went up to the summit of a high rock [Mount Sinai] and the Lord of the sheep sent it to them.
[Book of Enoch 89:32 - 33], Torah
And that sheep [Moses], which led them, again went up to the summit of that rock [Mount Sinai]; and the sheep began to be blinded, and go astray from the path which had been shown to them, but that sheep did not know. And the Lord of the sheep was extremely angry with them, and that sheep knew, and went down from the summit of the rock, and came to the sheep, and found the majority of them, with their eyes blinded, and going astray from His path [by worshiping a molten calf].
[Book of Enoch 89:40 - 41], Torah
And I looked until the sheep came to a good place and a pleasant and glorious land, and I looked until those sheep were satisfied. And that house was in the middle of them in that green and pleasant land. And sometimes their eyes were opened, and sometimes blinded, until another sheep rose up [Samuel], led them, and brought them all back. And their eyes were opened.
[Book of Enoch 89:42 - 43], Torah
And the dogs, and the foxes, and the wild boars, began to devour those sheep until the Lord of the sheep raised up a ram [Saul] from among them, which led them. And that ram [Saul] began to butt those dogs, foxes, and wild boars, on one side and on the other until it had destroyed them all.
[Book of Enoch 89:45 - 46], Torah
And the Lord of the sheep sent the sheep to another sheep [David] and raised it up to be a ram and to lead the sheep in place of that sheep [Saul] which had renounced its glory. And it went to it, and spoke with it alone, and raised up that ram [David], and made it the prince and leader of the sheep. And, during all this, those dogs oppressed the sheep.
[Book of Enoch 89:47], Torah

[Book of Enoch 89:51], Torah
And I saw those sheep again, how they went astray [the lost sheep of the House of Israel], and walked in many ways, and left that house of theirs; and the Lord of the sheep called some of the sheep, and sent them to the sheep, but the sheep began to kill them.
[Book of Enoch 89:52 - 53], Torah]
But one of them [Jesus] was saved, and was not killed, and it sprang away and cried out against the sheep. And they wished to kill it but the Lord of the sheep saved it from the hands of the sheep, brought it up to me, and made it stay. And He sent many other sheep [the disciples] to those sheep, to testify to them and to lament over them.
[Book of Enoch 89:54], Torah
And after this, I saw how when they left the house of the Lord of the sheep, and His tower, they went astray in everything, and their eyes were blinded. And I saw how the Lord of the sheep worked much slaughter among them, in their pastures, until those sheep invited that slaughter, and betrayed His place.
[Book of Enoch 89:66 - 67], Torah
And the lions and the tigers [the Gentiles] devoured and swallowed up the majority of those sheep, and the wild boars devoured with them; and they burnt down that tower and demolished that house [Jerusalem]. And I was extremely sad about that tower because that house of the sheep had been demolished; and after that I was unable to see whether those sheep went into that house.
[Book of Enoch 90:2 - 3], Torah
And after this, I saw in the vision, all the birds of the heaven coming, the eagles, the vultures, and the kites, and the ravens [the people of Mecca]. But the eagles led all the birds, and they began to devour those sheep, to peck out their eyes, and to devour their flesh. And the sheep cried out because the birds devoured their flesh. And I cried out and lamented in my sleep because of that shepherd who pastured the sheep.
[Book of Enoch 90:8 - 9], Torah
And I saw in the vision, how the ravens [the people of Mecca] flew upon those lambs, and took one of those lambs, and dashed the sheep in pieces and devoured them. And I looked until horns came up on those lambs but the ravens cast their horns down. And I looked until a big horn grew on one of those sheep [Muhammad], and their eyes were opened.
[Book of Enoch 90:11], Torah
And, besides all this, those eagles, and vultures, and ravens, and kites [the people of Mecca], were still continually tearing the sheep in pieces, and flying upon them and devouring them. And the sheep were silent but the rams lamented and cried out. And those ravens battled and fought with it [Muhammad], and wished to make away with its horn, but they did not prevail against it.
[Book of Enoch 90:13], Torah
And I looked at them until the shepherds and the eagles, and those vultures, and kites, came and cried to the ravens that they should dash the horn of that ram [Muhammad] in pieces. And they fought and battled with it, and it fought with them and cried out so that its help [the angels] might come to it.
[Book of Enoch 90:16], Torah
All the eagles and vultures and ravens and kites [the people of Mecca], gathered together and brought with them all the wild sheep, and they all came together and helped one another in order to dash that horn of the ram [Muhammad] in pieces.
[Book of Enoch 90:19], Torah
And I looked until a big sword was given to the sheep [Muhammad and the believers]. And the sheep went out against all the wild animals to kill them [the people of Mecca]. And all the animals, and birds of the heaven, fled before them."
[Book of Enoch 104:10 - 105:1], Torah
And now I know this mystery; that many sinners will alter and distort the words of truth, and speak evil words, and lie, and concoct great fabrications, and write books in their own words. But when they write my words exactly in their languages, and do not alter or omit anything from my words, but write everything exactly, everything that I testified about before; then I know another mystery, that books will be given to the righteous and wise and will be a source of joy and truth and much wisdom. And books will be given to them, and they will believe in them and rejoice over them; and all the righteous who have learned from them all the ways of truth will be glad. And in those days, says the Lord, they shall call and testify to the sons of the earth about the wisdom in them. Show it to them for you are their leaders and the rewards will be over all the earth.
