About Qur'anic Warners

We strive to guide to the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, in submission to only God, and to warn of the Last Day while keeping our own words to a minimum.  Those who speak by their own words speak from their own inclination without knowledge, and they thereby mislead many.  Therefore we avoid our own words as reasonably as possible and rely on what God has sent down in Qur'an as the Criterion, for whoever does not judge by what God has sent down, such as judging by the Hadiths, then they are the disbelievers, the wrongdoers, and the defiantly disobedient.

But God sent down the Torah before, then He gave Jesus the Gospel, confirming that which preceded it of the Torah, and to make clear to the Children of Israel over some of that which they differed.  So we let the People of the Scripture judge by what God has sent down in the Torah and the Gospel. Then He sent down the Qur'an, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a Criterion over it, for God did not send before any messenger, except that Satan threw his own desire into His verses.  But God abolished that which Satan threw into the Gospel and Torah, and then made His verses precise in the Qur'an, and so we judge between them by what God has sent down in the Qur'an.

But the people have divided the religion amongst themselves into sects - each faction rejoicing only in the Book that it has.  So the Jews say, "The Christians have nothing true," and the Christians say, "The Jews have nothing true," although they both recite the Scripture.  And the Sunni, Shia, and Qur'anist Muslims often speak the same as their words and say, "The Jews and the Christians have nothing true," although they all recite the Scripture.

But whoever disbelieves in His Books - the Book He sent down upon Muhammad, and the Scripture He sent down before, has gone far astray, for indeed this, your religion, is one religion.  For God has ordained for us of religion what He enjoined upon Noah and that which He revealed to Muhammad, and what He enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus - to establish the religion and not be divided therein.  Therefore we let the verses from all three speak for us by stringing them together in order to prove numerous theses, and to prove overall, that the Torah, Gospel, and Qur'an were all sent down by God, and that indeed, they form one religion - the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth.

This is done through a series of Topics, each having a thesis as a title and subtitle, where the thesis is an excerpt from a verse, and then the verses beneath serve to prove that thesis.  And each Topic has Sections with verses from all three Books that serve to prove and support the main Topic thesis in like manner. All these Topics together serve to prove that all three Books were sent down by God and confirm each other, thus forming one religion, but with the Qur'an as the preserved Criterion. And had God willed, He would have made us one nation united in religion, but He intended to test us in what He has given us; so we race to all that is good in the Torah, Gospel and Qur'an, listening to all and receiving only the truth, using the Qur'an as the Criterion.

So for those who seek God with all their heart, they will have no doubt as to the truth of submitting to only God in the religion of Abraham.  But for those who do not rely only on God, but rather, those they associate with God, or instead are distracted by the worldly life and rely on assumption and blind faith, they will not be successful, for indeed they are in extreme error.  For God created life and death to test us as to which is best in deed, and He will surely test us to make known those who believe and those who do not believe.  And so, only those who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what God has provided for them in His cause, and who believe in what has been sent down to Muhammad, and what was sent down before him, and they are certain of the Hereafter - those are upon guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful.

But those who do not believe and who have been deluded into extreme error by the worldly life, and deny their Lord who created them from clay with precise determination, and who certainly created the heavens and the earth in six days, and who spread the earth as a carpet and raised the heaven as a ceiling, the news of that which they used to deny and ridicule will come to them on the Day of Judgement.  For on that Day, God will remove the mountains and they will see the earth as a flat plain, they will not see any curve therein, and the ceiling of the heavens will be rolled as a scroll, and the stars will fall from heaven to the earth, and the Hellfire which they denied will be brought forth, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule, and that which they used to invent will be lost from them.

And those before them had already denied, and when their messengers came to them with clear proofs, they merely rejoiced in what they had of knowledge.  And they disputed by falsehood to attempt to refute the truth, and each intended a plot to kill or evict their messenger, so God destroyed them.  And their well known ruins and stories have been left as a reminder and a warning for those of intelligence.  For the people of Noah, when they denied the messengers, God drowned them, and He made them a sign for mankind, and He destroyed the people of Lot and Moses and many in between, and thus it has become clear how God dealt with them through their ruins, for indeed they were criminals.  For those who disbelieved said to their messengers, "We will surely drive you out of our land or you must return to our beliefs."  So God destroyed them, and there is something comparable for the disbelievers.

And so there is a term for every nation, and when their time has come, they will not postpone it an hour, nor will they advance it. And there is a messenger for every nation, so when their messenger comes, it will be judged between them in justice, and they will not be wronged. Then do you wonder that a reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you, speaking in your language, so that he may warn you and so that you may fear God so you might receive mercy?
