Satan Said, "I will Mislead them, and Command them so they will Change the Creation of God"

But No Change Should there be in the Creation of God, but Most of the People do Not Know

So warn of the Day when We will remove the mountains and you will see the earth a leveled plain, and the heavens will be rolled as a scroll, and the stars will fall to the earth, for they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule

35:40, Qur'an
Say, "Have you considered your 'partners' [Mother Nature, etc.] whom you invoke besides God?  Show me what they have created from the earth, or have they partnership [with Him] in the heavens?  Or have We given them a book so they are [standing] on evidence therefrom?  [No], rather, the wrongdoers do not promise each other except delusion."

4:117 - 120, Qur'an
[For] they call upon instead of Him none but female [deities], and they [actually] call upon none but a rebellious Satan.  Whom God has cursed.  For he had said, "I will surely take from among Your servants a specific portion.  And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of God."  And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of God has certainly sustained a clear loss.  Satan promises them and arouses desire in them.  But Satan does not promise them except delusion.

31:10 - 11, Qur'an
[For] God created the heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed therein from every creature.  And We sent down rain from the heaven and made grow therein [plants] of every noble kind.  This is the creation of God.  So show Me what those other than Him have created.  Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error.

88:17 - 22, Qur'an
Then do they not look at at the heaven - how it is raised [as a cup put in place]?  And at the camels - how they are created [as couches raised high]?  And at the mountains - how they are fixed [as cushions lined up]?  And at the earth - how it is flattened [as a carpet spread out]?  So remind, you are only a reminder.  You are not over them a controller -

30:29 - 30, Qur'an
[For] those who wrong follow their [own] desires without knowledge.  Then who can guide one whom God has sent astray?  And for them there are no helpers.  So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth.  [Adhere to] the nature of God which He has created [all] people on.  No change should there be in the creation of God.  That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.

18:47, Qur'an
[So warn of] the Day when We will remove the mountains and you will see the earth a leveled plain, and We will gather them and not leave behind from them anyone.

Isaiah 34:4, Torah
[And] all the host of heaven will be dissolved, and the heavens will be rolled together as a scroll, and all their host will fall down [to the earth], as the leaf falls off from the vine, and as a falling [fig] from the fig tree -

6:5, Qur'an
For they had denied the truth when it came to them, but there is going to reach them the news of what they used to ridicule.

Sections of Creation

If you Obey Most of those Upon Earth, they will Mislead you from the Way of God

It was your Conspiracy of Night and Day when you were Ordering us to Disbelieve in God

43:62, Qur'an
Never let Satan avert you.  Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.

36:62, Qur'an
And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?

15:39, Qur'an
[For Satan] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on the earth.

38:82 - 83, Qur'an
[So] by Your might, I will surely mislead them all, except, among them, Your chosen servants."

15:42, Qur'an
[So God said,] "Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators."

6:123, Qur'an
And thus We have placed within every city the greatest of its criminals to conspire therein.  But they do not conspire except against themselves, and they do not perceive.

6:116, Qur'an
And [so] if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of God.  They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying.

2 Peter 2:2, Gospel
[For] many will follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth will be evil spoken of -

14:3, Qur'an
The ones who prefer the worldly life over the Hereafter and avert [people] from the way of God, seeking to make it (seem) deviant.  Those are in extreme error.

14:42, Qur'an
[But] never think that God is unaware of what the wrongdoers do.  He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror].

86:17, Qur'an
So allow time for the disbelievers.  Leave them awhile.

86:15 - 16, Qur'an
[For] indeed, they are planning a plan, but I am planning a plan.

16:26, Qur'an
[And] those before them had already plotted, but God came at their building from the foundations, so the roof fell upon them from above them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive.

24:57, Qur'an
[So] never think that the disbelievers are causing failure [to God] upon the earth.  Their refuge will be the Fire - and how wretched the destination.

52:45 - 46, Qur'an
So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will faint - the Day their plan will not avail them at all, nor will they be helped -

37:25 - 27, Qur'an
[The Day they will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you?  Why do you not help each other?"  But they, that Day, are in surrender.  And they will approach one another blaming each other -

40:47, Qur'an
And [so] when they will argue within the Fire, and the weak will say to those who had been arrogant, "Indeed, we were [only] your followers, so will you relieve us of a share of the Fire?"

34:32, Qur'an
[But] those who were arrogant will say to those who were oppressed, "Did we avert you from guidance after it had come to you?  Rather, you were criminals."

34:33, Qur'an
[Then] those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "Rather, [it was your] conspiracy of night and day when you were ordering us to disbelieve in God and attribute to Him equals."

37:29 - 32, Qur'an
[But] the oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers, and we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people.  So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment].  And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators."

Isaiah 9:16, Torah
[And thus] the leaders of this people cause [them] to err; and [those who are] led of them [are] destroyed.

33:66 - 68, Qur'an
[And on] the Day their faces will be turned about in the Fire, they will say, "How we wish we had obeyed God and obeyed the messenger."  And they will say, "Our Lord, indeed we obeyed our masters and our dignitaries, and they led us astray from the [right] way.  Our Lord, give them double the punishment and curse them with a great curse."

37:33, Qur'an
[But] indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment.

Isaiah 9:17, Torah
Therefore the Lord will have no joy in their young men, neither will He have mercy on their fatherless and widows, for everyone [is] a hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaks folly.  For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand [is] stretched out still.

It is Better to Trust in the Lord than to Put Confidence in Man

For those who Disbelieve Follow Falsehood, but those who Believe Follow the Truth from their Lord

Psalms 94:11, Torah
The Lord knows the thoughts of man, that they [are] vanity -

2 Timothy 3:7, Gospel
[For they are] ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

10:36, Qur'an
[For] most of them follow not except assumption.  Indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all.  Indeed, God is Knowing of what they do -

37:69 - 70, Qur'an
Indeed they found their fathers astray.  So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps.

2:170, Qur'an
And [so] when it is said to them, "Follow what God has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that which we found our fathers doing."  Even though their fathers understood nothing, nor were they guided?

Jeremiah 17:5, Torah
Thus the Lord says, "Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from the Lord."

47:3, Qur'an
That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord.  Thus does God present to the people their comparisons.

16:105, Qur'an
[For] they only invent falsehood who do not believe in the verses of God, and it is those who are the liars.

Psalms 40:4, Torah
[But] blessed [is] that man who makes the Lord his trust, and does not respect the proud, nor such who turn aside to lies.

[Wisdom of Solomon 3:9 - 10], Torah
[For only] those who put their trust in Him will understand the truth, and such who are faithful in love will abide with Him, for grace and mercy are to His righteous, and He has care for His elect.  But the ungodly will be punished according to their own imaginations, who have forsaken the Lord, and neglected the righteous.

Psalms 118:8, Torah
[Thus it is] better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

1 Corinthians 3:18 - 19, Gospel
[And so] let no man deceive himself.  If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.  For it is written, "He takes the wise in their own craftiness."

Isaiah 44:24 - 25, Torah
Thus the Lord says, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb, "I [am] the Lord who makes all [things]; who stretches forth the heavens alone; who spreads the earth abroad by Myself; who frustrates the tokens of the liars, and makes diviners mad; who turns wise [men] backward, and makes their knowledge foolish."

Were they Created by Nothing?

Rather, they are Not Certain

50:5, Qur'an
They denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition.

52:35, Qur'an
Were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]?

[They say,] "That may run counter to our instincts, which recoil at the thought of something coming from nothing.  But we shouldn't necessarily trust our instincts," - space.com

52:36, Qur'an
Or did they create the heavens and the earth?  Rather, they are not certain.

[They say,] "If you would just, in this room, just twist time and space the right way, you might create an entirely new universe.  It's not clear you could get into that universe, but you would create it.  So it could be that this universe is merely the science fair project of a kid in another universe," Shostak added.  "I don't know how that affects your theological leanings, but it is something to consider." - space.com

52:41, Qur'an
Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down?

[They say,] "The universe we live in may not be the only one out there.  In fact, our universe could be just one of an infinite number of universes making up a "multiverse."  Though the concept may stretch credulity, there's good physics behind it.  And there's not just one way to get to a multiverse — numerous physics theories independently point to such a conclusion.  In fact, some experts think the existence of hidden universes is more likely than not." - space.com

16:24 - 25, Qur'an
[But] when it is said to them, "What has your Lord sent down?"  They say, "Legends of the former peoples," that they may bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection and some of the burdens of those whom they misguide without knowledge.  Unquestionably, evil is that which they bear.

8:36, Qur'an
[For] indeed, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to avert [people] from the way of God.  So they will spend it; then it will be for them regret; then they will be overcome.

13:42, Qur'an
And those before them had plotted, but to God belongs the plan entirely.  He knows what every soul earns, and the disbelievers will know for whom is the final home.

God did Not Create the Heaven and the Earth Aimlessly - they are Only Assuming

God Created the Heavens and the Earth in Truth so that Every Soul may be Recompensed for what it has Earned

45:24, Qur'an
They say, "There is not but our worldly life; we die and live, and nothing destroys us except time."  And they have of that no knowledge; they are only assuming.

[Wisdom of Solomon 2:1 - 2], Torah
For the ungodly said, reasoning with themselves, but not aright, "Our life is short and tedious, and in the death of a man there is no remedy, neither was there any man known to have returned from the grave.  For we are born at all adventure, and hereafter, we will be as though we had never been, for the breath in our nostrils is as smoke, and a little spark in the moving of our heart.

[Wisdom of Solomon 2:5 - 9], Torah
[So] our time is a very shadow that passes away; and after our end there is no returning, for it is fast sealed, so that no man comes again.  Come on therefore, let us enjoy the good things that are present, and let us speedily use the creatures as in youth.  Let us fill ourselves with costly wine and ointments, and let no flower of the spring pass by us.  Let us crown ourselves with rosebuds, before they are withered.  Let none of us go without his part of our voluptuousness, let us leave tokens of our joyfulness in every place, for this is our portion, and our lot is this."

[Wisdom of Solomon 15:11 - 12], Torah
[Thus,] he did not know his Maker, and Him who inspired into him an active soul, and breathed in a living spirit - but they counted our life a pastime, and our time here a market for gain; for, they say, we must be getting every way, though it is by evil means.

29:64, Qur'an
[But] this worldly life is not but diversion and amusement.  And indeed, the home of the Hereafter - that is the life, if only they knew.

28:60, Qur'an
[So] whatever thing you [people] have been given - it is [only for] the enjoyment of worldly life and its adornment.  And what is with God is better and more lasting; so will you not use reason?

23:55 - 56, Qur'an
[Or] do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children is [because] We hasten for them good things?  Rather, they do not perceive.

2:212, Qur'an
[For] beautified for those who disbelieve is the life of this world, and they ridicule those who believe.  But those who fear God are above them on the Day of Resurrection.  And God gives provision to whom He wills without account.

9:69, Qur'an
[Thus you disbelievers are] like those before you; they were stronger than you in power and more abundant in wealth and children.  They enjoyed their portion [of worldly enjoyment], and you have enjoyed your portion as those before you enjoyed their portion, and you have engaged [in vanities] like that in which they engaged.  [It is] those whose deeds have become worthless in this world and in the Hereafter, and it is they who are the losers.

46:20, Qur'an
[For] the Day those who disbelieved are exposed to the Fire [it will be said], "You exhausted your pleasures during your worldly life and enjoyed them, so this Day you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation because you were arrogant upon the earth without right and because you were defiantly disobedient."

38:27, Qur'an
[For] We did not create the heaven and the earth and that between them aimlessly.  That is the assumption of those who disbelieve, so woe to those who disbelieve from the Fire.

45:22, Qur'an
[Rather,] God created the heavens and earth in truth and so that every soul may be recompensed for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged.

35:5, Qur'an
[So] O mankind, indeed the promise of God is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about God by the Deceiver.

God Certainly Created the Heavens and Earth
and what is Between them in Six Days

It is He who Created the Earth in Two Days, then He Completed the Heavens within Two Days

3:190, Qur'an
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding -

Genesis 1:1, Torah
[For] in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth -

Genesis 1:3, Torah
[Whereby] God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.  And God saw the light, that [it was] good, and God divided the light from the darkness.  And God called the light day, and the darkness He called night.  And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Genesis 1:8, Torah
And the evening and the morning were the second day.

Genesis 1:13, Torah
And the evening and the morning were the third day.

Genesis 1:19, Torah
And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Genesis 1:23, Torah
And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Genesis 1:31 - 2:1, Torah
And God saw everything that He had made, and, behold, [it was] very good.   And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.  Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

50:38, Qur'an
And [thus] We did certainly create the heavens and earth and what is between them in six days, and there touched Us no weariness.

[But they say,] "Our universe could have popped into existence 13.7 billion years ago without any divine help whatsoever, researchers say." - space.com

Job 38:21, Torah
[Then] do you know [this], because you were born then?  Or [because] the number of your days [is] great?

41:9, Qur'an
"[Or] do you indeed disbelieve in He who created the earth in two days and attribute to Him equals?  That is the Lord of the worlds."

[But they say,] "By using not only the rocks on Earth but also information gathered about the system that surrounds it, scientists have been able to place the age of the Earth at approximately 4.54 billion years.  For comparison, the Milky Way galaxy that contains the solar system is approximately 13.2 billion years old, while the universe itself has been dated to 13.8 billion years." - space.com

2:29, Qur'an
[But] it is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth.  Then He directed Himself to the heaven, and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things.

41:12, Qur'an
And He completed them as seven heavens within two days and inspired in each heaven its command.  And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and as protection.  That is the determination of the Almighty, the All-Knowing.

[But they say] "There are actually two different, independent methods we have to measure [13.8 billion years], and while one is far more accurate to the other, the less precise method involves far fewer assumptions."  - forbes.com

10:36, Qur'an
[Thus] most of them follow not except assumption.  Indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all.  Indeed, God is Knowing of what they do.

1 Corinthians 3:20, Gospel
[So] again, 'The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.'

7:52 - 54, Qur'an
And [thus] We had certainly brought them a Book which We detailed by knowledge - as guidance and mercy to a people who believe.  [So] do they await except its result?  The Day its result comes those who had ignored it before will say, "The messengers of our Lord had come with the truth, so are there [now] any intercessors to intercede for us or could we be sent back to do other than we used to do?"  They will have lost themselves, and lost from them is what they used to invent.  Indeed, your Lord is God, who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne.  He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command.  Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is God, Lord of the worlds.

He Determined its Creatures' Sustenance in Four Days and Perfected All He Created

When He Decrees a Matter, He Only Says to it, "Be," and it is - Thus as Soon as Your Word went Forth, it was So

45:3 - 4, Qur'an
Indeed, within the heavens and earth are signs for the believers.  And in the creation of yourselves and what He disperses of moving creatures are signs for people who are certain [in faith] -

2:117, Qur'an
[For He is the] Originator of the heavens and the earth.  When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.

Genesis 1:11, Torah
[For] God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, [and] the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed [is] in itself, upon the earth," and it was so.

Genesis 1:24, Torah
[And] God said, "Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind," and it was so.

[2 Ezra 6:43], Torah
[Thus] as soon as Your word went forth, the work was made.

46:4, Qur'an
[So] say, "Have you considered that which you invoke besides God?  Show me what they have created of the earth; or did they have partnership in [creation of] the heavens?  Bring me a scripture [revealed] before this or a [remaining] trace of knowledge, if you should be truthful."

[So they say,] "The history of life on Earth began about 3.8 billion years ago, initially with single-celled prokaryotic cells, such as bacteria. Multicellular life evolved over a billion years later and it's only in the last 570 million years that the kind of life forms we are familiar with began to evolve, starting with arthropods, followed by fish 530 million years ago (Ma), land plants 475Ma and forests 385Ma. Mammals didn't evolve until 200Ma and our own species, Homo sapiens, only 200,000 years ago.  So humans have been around for a mere 0.004% of the Earth's history." - bbc.co.uk

32:7, Qur'an
[But it is He who] perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay.

41:10, Qur'an
And He placed on the earth firmly set mountains over its surface, and He blessed it and determined therein its [creatures'] sustenance in four days without distinction - for [the information] of those who ask.

83:13 - 14, Qur'an
[But] when Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples."  No!  Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning.

64:3, Qur'an
[For] He created the heavens and earth in truth and formed you and perfected your forms; and to Him is the [final] destination -

25:2, Qur'an
He to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and who has not taken a son and who has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination.

[But they say,] the DNA that makes up our genes, and those of every organism on Earth except some viruses, is subject to random mutation.  Every now and then one of those mutations affects an important trait, such as an animal’s coat color or a particular behavior...  Over time, such favorable mutations spread through a population and change how it looks.  Over enough time, the process can even produce new species.  - National Geographic

77:23, Qur'an
[But it is] We [who] determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine.

Isaiah 45:18, Torah
Thus the Lord who created the heavens says; God Himself who formed the earth and made it; He has established it, He did not create it in vain, He formed it to be inhabited, "I am the Lord; and there are none else."

It is He who Created you from Clay, then Suddenly you were Human Beings

But you Wonder, while they Mock

38:71 - 72, Qur'an
[So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay.  So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down to him in prostration."

Genesis 2:7, Torah
And [so] the Lord God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

37:11 - 14, Qur'an
Then inquire of them, "Are they a stronger creation or those We have created?"  Indeed, We created men from sticky clay.  But you wonder, while they mock, and when they are reminded, they remember not.  And when they see a sign, they ridicule.

34:22, Qur'an
[So] say, "Invoke those you claim besides God."  They do not possess an atom's weight [of ability] in the heavens or on the earth, and they do not have therein any partnership [with Him], nor is there for Him from among them any assistant.

[Thus they invoke evolution, whereby they say,] "Human evolution is the lengthy process of change by which people originated from apelike ancestors.  Scientific evidence shows that the physical and behavioral traits shared by all people originated from apelike ancestors and evolved over a period of approximately six million years. - Smithsonian

30:20, Qur'an
[But] of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing [throughout the earth].

40:67, Qur'an
[For] it is He who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot; then He brings you out as a child; then that you reach your maturity, then that you become elders.  And among you is he who is taken in death before [that], so that you reach a specified term; and perhaps you will use reason.

Job 10:9, Torah
[So] remember, I beseech You, that You have made me as the clay; and You will bring me into dust again?

20:55, Qur'an
[Thus] from the earth We created you, and into it We will return you, and from it We will extract you another time.

All the Days of Noah were Nine Hundred and Fifty Years

After the People of Noah, He Increased us in Stature, so Now the Days of our Years are Seventy Years

2:96, Qur'an
One of them wishes that he could be granted life a thousand years, but it would not remove him in the least from the [coming] punishment that he should be granted life.  And God is Seeing of what they do.

[For they say,] "Humans have evolved much longer lifespans than the great apes, which rarely exceed 50 years.  Since 1800, lifespans have doubled again, largely due to improvements in environment, food, and medicine that minimized mortality at earlier ages." - PNAS

*29:14, Qur'an
[But] We certainly sent Noah to his people, and he remained among them a thousand years minus fifty years, and the flood seized them while they were wrongdoers.

53:52, Qur'an
[Or has he not been informed that it is God who destroyed] the people of Noah before?  Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing.

Genesis 6:11 - 13, Torah
[For] the earth was also corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.  And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted His way upon the earth.  And God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth."

11:25 - 26, Qur'an
And [thus] We had certainly sent Noah to his people, saying, "Indeed, I am to you a clear warner, that you not worship except God.  Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a painful day."

11:27, Qur'an
[But] the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, "We do not see you but as a man like ourselves, and we do not see you followed except by those who are the lowest of us [and] immature in opinion.  And we do not see in you over us any merit; rather, we think you are liars."

26:116, Qur'an
[And] they said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned."

71:21 - 24, Qur'an
[So] Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss.  And they conspired an immense conspiracy.  And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr.'  And already they have misled many.  And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error."

11:40, Qur'an
[So it was], until when Our command came and the oven overflowed, We said, "Load upon the ark of each two mates and your family, except those about whom the word has preceded, and [include] whoever has believed."  But none had believed with him, except a few.

21:77, Qur'an
[So] We saved him from the people who denied Our signs.  Indeed, they were a people of evil, so We drowned them, all together.

*Genesis 9:28 - 29, Torah
[Then] Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.  And [so] all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years, and he died.

7:67 - 69, Qur'an
[Then to the 'Aad We sent their brother Hud, he] said, "O my people, there is not foolishness in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds.  I convey to you the messages of my Lord, and I am to you a trustworthy adviser.  Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you?  And remember when He made you successors after the people of Noah and increased you in stature extensively.  So remember the favors of God that you might succeed."

Psalms 90:10 - 12, Torah
[And so now] the days of our years [are] seventy years; and if by reason of strength [they are] eighty years - their strength [is] labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.  Who knows the power of Your anger?  Even according to Your fear, [so is] Your wrath.  So teach [us] to number our days, that we may apply [our] hearts to wisdom.

41:15, Qur'an
[But] as for 'Aad, they were arrogant upon the earth without right and said, "Who is greater than us in strength?"  Did they not consider that God who created them was greater than them in strength?  But they were rejecting Our signs.

11:59 - 60, Qur'an
[So] that was 'Aad, who rejected the signs of their Lord and disobeyed His messengers and followed the order of every obstinate tyrant.  And they were [therefore] followed in this world with a curse and [as well] on the Day of Resurrection.  Unquestionably, 'Aad denied their Lord; then away with 'Aad, the people of Hud.

14:19 - 20, Qur'an
[So] have you not seen that God created the heavens and the earth in truth?  If He wills, He can do away with you and produce a new creation.  And that is not difficult for God.

God is the Creator of All Things

I Form the Light and Create Darkness, I Make Peace and Create Evil, I the Lord do All These Things

Acts 7:49 - 50, Gospel
[The Most High said,] "Heaven [is] My Throne, and earth [is] My footstool, what House will you build Me?  Says the Lord, or what [is] the place of My rest?  Has My hand not made all these things?

Isaiah 66:2, Torah
[Yes,] My hand has made all those [things], and all those [things] have been," the Lord says,

Isaiah 45:5 - 8, Torah
"[For] I [am] the Lord, and [there are] none else, [there is] no god beside Me, I girded you, though you have not known Me.  That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that [there are] none beside Me.  I [am] the Lord, and [there are] none else.  I form the light, and create darkness, I make peace, and create evil, I the Lord do all these [things].  Drop down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness, let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it."

John 1:3, Gospel
[And thus] all things were made by Him; and without Him nothing was made that was made.

13:16, Qur'an
[So] say, "Who is Lord of the heavens and earth?"  Say, "God."  Say, "Have you then taken besides Him allies not possessing [even] for themselves any benefit or any harm?"  Say, "Is the blind equivalent to the seeing?  Or is darkness equivalent to light?  "Or have they attributed to God partners who created like His creation so that the creation [of each] seemed similar to them?"  Say, "God is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Prevailing."

Acts 17:24 - 25, Gospel
[So I declare Him to you,] God, who made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; neither is worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, seeing He gives life to all, and breath, and all things.

Psalms 146:5 - 6, Torah
[Thus] happy [is he] who [has] the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope [is] in the Lord his God.  Who made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that [is] therein, who keeps truth forever.

They have Taken gods Besides Him [in the Past Change,] which Create Nothing

Satan Made their Deeds Attractive to them, so God will Execute Judgement Against All the gods of Egypt

Ra - the Egyptian sun god
Aker - the Egyptian god of the earth and the horizon
Baal - the Egyptian sky and storm god

35:40, Qur'an
Say, "Have you considered your 'partners' whom you invoke besides God?  Show me what they have created from the earth, or have they partnership [with Him] in the heavens?  Or have We given them a book so they are [standing] on evidence therefrom?  [No], rather, the wrongdoers do not promise each other except delusion.

21:22, Qur'an
[For] had there been within the heavens and earth gods besides God, they both would have been ruined.  So Exalted is God, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe.

25:3, Qur'an
But they have taken besides Him gods which create nothing, while they are created, and do not possess for themselves any harm or benefit and do not possess [power to cause] death or life or resurrection.

16:63, Qur'an
[So] by God, We did certainly send [messengers] to nations before you, but Satan made their deeds attractive to them.  And he is the disbelievers' ally today [as well], and they will have a painful punishment.

37:123 - 126, Qur'an
And indeed, Elijah was from among the messengers, when he said to his people, "Will you not fear God?  Do you call upon Baal and leave the best of creators - God, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?"

Jeremiah 7:8 - 9, Torah
[And Jeremiah said to his people,] "Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot profit.  Will you steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods whom you do not know?"

43:46, Qur'an
And We certainly sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his establishment, and he said, "Indeed, I am the messenger of the Lord of the worlds."

7:127, Qur'an
[But] the eminent among the people of Pharaoh said, "Will you abandon you and your gods and leave Moses and his people to cause corruption in the land?  [Pharaoh] said, "We will kill their sons and keep their women alive; and indeed, we are subjugators over them."

40:25, Qur'an
But the plan of the disbelievers is not except in error.

Exodus 12:12, Torah
[Thus God said,] "I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgement, I [am] the Lord."

2:49, Qur'an
[So] We saved your forefathers from the people of Pharaoh, who afflicted you with the worst torment, slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your females alive.  And in that was a great trial from your Lord.

11:101, Qur'an
And We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves.  And they were not availed at all by their gods which they invoked other than God when there came the command of your Lord.  And they did not increase them in other than ruin -

Numbers 33:4, Torah
For the Egyptians buried all [their] firstborn, whom the Lord had struck among them; the Lord also executed judgements upon their gods.

Paul Saw Athens Wholly Given to Idolatry - Diana, whom the World Worships

They Call upon None but a Rebellious Satan who Said, "I will Surely Take from Among Your Servants a Portion"

Jupiter - the Roman god of the sky
Diana - the Roman goddess of the moon and nature
also Venus, Mars, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, Ceres, Apollo, and Vulcan

43:57 - 58, Qur'an
And when the son of Mary was presented as an example, immediately your people laughed aloud.  And they said, "Are our gods better, or is he?"  They did not present the comparison except for [mere] argument.  But, [in fact], they are a people prone to dispute.

Acts 17:16, Gospel
[And later,] while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.

Acts 19:24 - 28, Gospel
For a certain [man] named Demetrius, a silversmith, who made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain to the craftsmen; whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, "Men, you know that by this craft we have our wealth.  Moreover you see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they are not gods, which are made with hands.  So that not only is our craft in danger to be set at nothing; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worships."  And when they heard [these sayings], they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, "Great [is] Diana of the Ephesians."

Acts 19:35, Gospel
And when the town clerk had appeased the people, he said, "Men of Ephesus, what man is there who does not know how the city of the Ephesians is a worshiper of the great goddess Diana, and of the [image] which fell down from Jupiter?"

Acts 14:11 - 13, Gospel
[But] when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, "The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men."  And they called Barnabas, "Jupiter;" and Paul, "Mercurius," because he was the chief speaker.  Then the priest of Jupiter, who was before their city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.

Acts 14:14 - 16, Gospel
[Which] when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard [of], they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out, and saying, "Men, why do you do these things?  We are also men of like passions with you, and we preach to you that you should turn from these vanities to the living God, who made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein.  Who in times past left all nations to walk in their own ways."

43:45, Qur'an
[So] ask those We sent before you of Our messengers; have We made besides the Most Merciful deities to be worshiped?

Have you Not Seen those who Believe in Superstition?

He has Failed who Invents Such Falsehood as Magic, Witchcraft, and Necromancy

4:51 - 52 , Qur'an
Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture, who believe in superstition and false objects of worship and say about the disbelievers, "These are better guided than the believers as to the way"?  Those are the ones whom God has cursed; and he whom God curses - never will you find for him a helper.

2:102, Qur'an
[For] they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon.  It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut.  But the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]."  And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife.  But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of God.  And the people learn what harms them and does not benefit them.  But the Children of Israel certainly knew that whoever purchased the magic would not have in the Hereafter any share.  And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew -

2 Kings 17:17, Torah
[For] they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.

Galatians 5:20 - 21, Gospel
[But indeed,] idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like, of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in times past - those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Deuteronomy 18:12 - 14, Torah
For all that do these things [are] an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you.  You will be perfect with the Lord your God.  For these nations, which you will possess, listened to observers of times, and to diviners, but as for you, the Lord your God has not allowed you [to do] so.

40:23 - 24, Qur'an
And [so] We did certainly send Moses with Our signs and a clear authority to Pharaoh, Haman and Qarun; but they said, "[He is] a magician and a liar."

10:77, Qur'an
[So] Moses said, "Do you say [thus] about the truth when it has come to you?  Is this magic?  But magicians will not succeed."

10:79, Qur'an
[Yet] Pharaoh said, "Bring to me every learned magician."

7:116, Qur'an
[Moses] said, "Throw," and when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them, and they presented a great [feat of] magic.

10:81, Qur'an
And when they had thrown, Moses said, "What you have brought is [only] magic.  Indeed, God will expose its worthlessness.  Indeed, God does not amend the work of corrupters."

7:117 - 118, Qur'an
[So] We inspired to Moses, "Throw your staff," and at once it devoured what they were falsifying.  So the truth was established, and abolished was what they were doing.

[Wisdom of Solomon 17:7], Torah
[Thus,] as for the illusions of art magic, they were put down, and their vaunting in wisdom was reproved with disgrace.

Daniel 2:1 - 2, Torah
And [likewise, remember] in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, whereby his spirit was troubled, and his sleep broke from him.  Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, to show the king his dreams.  So they came and stood before the king.

Daniel 2:27, Torah
[But] Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, "The secret which the king has demanded, the wise [men], the astrologers, the magicians, [and] the soothsayers, cannot show to the king."

47:3, Qur'an
That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord.  Thus does God present to the people their comparisons.

Deuteronomy 18:9, Torah
[So] you will not learn to do after the abominations of those nations when you are brought into the land which the Lord your God gives you.

Deuteronomy 18:10 - 12, Torah
[And thus,] there will not be [any one] found among you who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] who uses divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.  For all that do these things [are] an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations, the Lord your God drives them out from before you.

11:20 - 21, Qur'an
[But] those were not causing failure [to God] on earth, nor did they have besides God any protectors.  For them the punishment will be multiplied.  They were not able to hear, nor did they see.  Those are the ones who will have lost themselves, and lost from them is what they used to invent.

28:75, Qur'an
[So on the Day,] We will extract from every nation a witness and say, "Produce your proof," and they will know that the truth belongs to God, and lost from them is that which they used to invent.

The World is Established that it Cannot be Moved

God Holds the Heavens and the Earth, Lest they Move

27:61, Qur'an
Is He [not best] who made the earth a firm abode and placed within it rivers and made for it firmly set mountains and placed between the two seas a barrier?  Is there a deity with God?  [No], but most of them do not know.

35:41, Qur'an
Indeed, God holds the heavens and the earth, lest they move.  And if they should move, no one could hold them [in place] after Him.  Indeed, He is Forbearing and Forgiving.

[But they say,] "Earth spins on an imaginary line called an axis that runs from the North Pole to the South Pole [90° - 23.4° = 66.6° tilt from the horizontal], while also orbiting the sun.  It takes Earth 23.439 hours to complete a rotation on its axis, and roughly 365.26 days to complete an orbit around the sun [at 18.5 miles/sec = 66,600 mph]." - space.com

Psalms 93:1, Torah
[But] the Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, [whereby] He has girded himself, the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.

Hebrews 1:10, Gospel
[For] You, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of Your hands.

Psalms 104:5, Torah
[Thus You] laid the foundations of the earth, [that] it should not be removed forever.

1 Samuel 2:8, Torah
[And so] the pillars of the earth [are] the Lord's, and He has set the world upon them.  He raises the poor up out of the dust, [and] lifts up the beggar from the dunghill, to set [them] among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory.

1 Chronicles 16:30, Torah
[So] fear before Him, all the earth, the world also will be established, that it will not be moved.

40:64, Qur'an
[Thus] it is God who made for you the earth a firm abode and the heaven a ceiling and formed you and perfected your forms and provided you with good things.  That is God, your Lord; then blessed is God, Lord of the worlds.

He has Subjected the Night and Day and the Sun and Moon, and the Stars by His Command

28:72, Qur'an
Say, "Have you considered if God should make for you the day continuous until the Day of Resurrection, what deity other than God could bring you a night in which you may rest?  Then will you not see?"

Joshua 10:12 - 13, Torah
[So consider when] Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the Children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, "Sun, stand still upon Gibeon; and Moon, in the valley of Ajalon."  And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed [with permission of God], until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies.  [Is] this not written in the book of Jasher?  So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down about a whole day.

28:71, Qur'an
[And] say, "Have you considered if God should make for you the night continuous until the Day of Resurrection, what deity other than God could bring you light?  Then will you not hear?"

Amos 8:9, Torah
"[So consider that] it will come to pass in that day," the Lord God says, "That I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day."

16:12, Qur'an
[Thus] He has subjected for you the night and day and the sun and moon, and the stars are subjected by His command.  Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason.

31:29, Qur'an
[Then] do you not see that God causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term, and that God, with whatever you do, is Acquainted?

7:54, Qur'an
[For] indeed, your Lord is God, who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne.  He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command.  Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is God, Lord of the worlds.

Job 9:7 - 9, Torah
[And so it is He] who commands the sun, and it does not rise; and seals up the stars.  Who alone spreads out the heavens, and treads upon the waves of the sea.  Who makes Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.

Isaiah 45:12, Torah
"[And it is] I [who] have made the earth, and created man upon it, I, [even] My hands, have stretched out the heavens, and I have commanded all their host."

36:38, Qur'an
[And so] the sun runs [on course] to a term appointed for it.  That is the determination of the Almighty, the All-Knowing.

Psalms 19:4 - 6, Torah
[Whereby the sun's] going forth [is] from the end of the heaven, and his circuit to the ends of it, and there is nothing hidden from the heat thereof -

[Sirach 43:3 - 5], Torah
At noon it parches the country, and who can abide the burning heat thereof?  A man blowing a furnace is in works of heat, but the sun burns the mountains three times more; breathing out fiery vapors, and sending forth bright beams, it dims the eyes.  Great is the Lord who made it; and at His commandment, runs hastily.

14:33, Qur'an
[Thus] He subjected for you the sun and the moon, continuous [in orbit], and subjected for you the night and the day.

36:40, Qur'an
[And] it is not allowable for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming.

No verse mentions that the earth moves or is in orbit.

We Erased the Sign of the Night and Made the Sign of the Day Visible

He Causes the Night to Cover the Day, whereby the Sun Disappears into the Curtain of Darkness

6:1, Qur'an
[All] praise is [due] to God, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light.

Genesis 1:3 - 5, Torah
[For] God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.  And God saw the light, that [it was] good, and God divided the light from the darkness.  And God called the light day, and the darkness He called night.  And the evening and the morning were the first day.

25:62, Qur'an
[And so] it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude.

57:6, Qur'an
[Whereby] He causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night, and He is Knowing of that within the breasts.

[2 Ezra 6:45], Torah
[But it is not until] upon the fourth day, You commanded that the sun should shine, and the moon give her light, and the stars should be in order.

Genesis 1:14 - 15, Torah
[For] God said, "Let there be [visible] lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.  And let them be lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light upon the earth," and it was so.

10:5, Qur'an
[Thus] it is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a light and determined for it phases - that you may know the number of years and account [of time].  God has not created this except in truth.  He details the signs for a people who know.

21:33, Qur'an
And [so] it is He who created the night and the day and the [visible] sun and the [visible] moon; all in an orbit are swimming.

36:37, Qur'an
[Thus] a sign for them is the night.  We remove from it [the light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness.

Isaiah 50:3, Torah
[Whereby] I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering."

Job 38:19, Torah
[But] where [is] the way [where] light dwells?  And [as for] darkness, where [is] the place thereof?

17:12, Quran
[So say,] We have made the night and day two signs, and We erased the sign of the night [so that it is not visible] and made the sign of the day visible [the sun] that you may know the number of years and the account [of time] and may seek bounty from your Lord.  And everything We have set out in detail.

[Sirach 33:15], Torah
So look upon all the works of the Most High; and there are two and two, one against another.

51:49, Qur'an
[For] of all things We created two pairs; perhaps you will remember.

35:19 - 21, Qur'an
[So] not equal are the darkness and the light, nor are the blind and the seeing, nor are the shade and the heat,

25:45, Qur'an
[Then] have you not considered your Lord - how He extends the shadow, and if He willed, He could have made it stationary?  [Thus] We made the sun for it a [visible] indication -

38:32, Qur'an
Until the sun disappear[s] into the curtain [of darkness].

13:3, Qur'an
[For] He causes the night to cover the day.  Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

91:4, Qur'an
[So by] the night when it covers [the sun] -

74:33, Qur'an
And [by] the night when it departs

91:3, Qur'an
And [by] the day when it displays [the sun]

55:17, Qur'an
[Indeed He is] Lord of the two risings and Lord of the two settings.

22:61, Qur'an
That is because God causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and because God is Hearing and Seeing.

God Made the Heaven a Protected Ceiling
and Erected it without Pillars that you Can See

He Spreads Out the Heavens Like a Vault

79:27 - 28, Qur'an
Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven?  God constructed it.  He raised its ceiling and proportioned it.

50:6, Qur'an
[Or] have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts?

21:32, Qur'an
[For] We made the heaven a protected ceiling, but they, from its signs, are turning away.

55:37 - 38, Qur'an
[So warn of the Day] when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil - and the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm.

73:17 - 18, Qur'an
[But] how can you fear, if you disbelieve, a Day that will make the children white-haired?  The heaven will break apart therefrom; ever is His promise fulfilled.

Job 26:11, Torah
[Even] the pillars of heaven tremble [in fear] and are astonished at His reproof.

13:2, Qur'an
[For] it is God who erected the heavens without pillars that you [can] see; then He established Himself above the Throne and made subject the sun and the moon, each flowing [its course] for a specified term.  He arranges [each] matter; He details the signs that you may, of the meeting with your Lord, be certain.

Deuteronomy 4:39, Torah
[So] know therefore this day, and consider [it] in your heart, that the Lord, He [is] God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath, [there are] none else.

Isaiah 40:21 - 22, Torah
[Or] have you not known?  Have you not heard?  Has it not been told to you from the beginning?  Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?  [It is] He who sits upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof [are] as grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in.

[2 Ezra 16:59], Torah
[And so] He spreads out the heavens like a vault; [and] upon the waters, He has founded it.

Job 37:18, Torah
[Or] have you spread out the heaven with Him, which is strong, and as a molten mirror?

22:65, Qur'an
[Or do you not see that] He restrains the heaven from falling upon the earth, unless by His permission?  Indeed God, to the people, is Kind and Merciful.

52:44 - 45, Qur'an
[But] if they were to see a fragment from the heaven falling, they would say, "[It is merely] clouds heaped up."  So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will faint -

82:1 - 2, Qur'an
When the heaven breaks apart and when the stars fall, scattering.

If you are Able to Pass Beyond the Heavens and the Earth, then Pass.  You will Not Pass

There will be Sent upon you a Flame of Fire, and you will Not Defend yourselves, for We Beautified the Nearest Heaven with Stars and Made them what is Thrown at Devils

55:33, Qur'an
O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass.  You will not pass except by authority [from God] -

55:35, Qur'an
There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves.

67:5, Qur'an
[For] We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze.

38:10, Qur'an
Or is theirs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them?  Then let them ascend through [any] ways of access.

72:8 - 9, Qur'an
"And [thus] we [jinn] have sought to touch the heaven but found it filled with powerful guards and burning flames.  And we used to sit therein in positions for hearing, but whoever listens now will find a burning flame lying in wait for him.

72:10 - 12, Qur'an
[But] we [jinn] do not know [therefore] whether evil is intended for those on earth or whether their Lord intends for them a right course.  And among us are the righteous, and among us are [others] not so; we were [of] divided ways.  And we [jinn] have become certain that we will never cause failure to God upon earth, nor can we escape Him by flight."

37:6 - 10, Qur'an
[For] indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars and as protection against every rebellious devil [so] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side, repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness].

His Throne had been upon Water, and it Extends Over the Heavens and the Earth

God Divided the Waters Under the Firmament from the Waters Above the Firmament

2:255, Qur'an
God - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence.  Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep.  To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.  Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission?  He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills.  His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not.  And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

11:7, Qur'an
And it is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days - and His Throne had been upon water - that He might test you as to which of you is best in deed.

Psalms 29:10, Torah
[Thus] the Lord sits upon the flood; the Lord sits King forever.

Psalms 29:3, Torah
[And so] the voice of the Lord [is] upon the waters, the God of glory thunders, the Lord [is] upon many waters.

Jeremiah 51:16, Torah
[Thus] when He utters [His] voice, [there is] a multitude of waters in the heavens -

Acts 7:49 - 50, Gospel
[Whereby God said,] "Heaven [is] My Throne, and earth [is] My footstool, what house will you build Me?"  Says the Lord, "Or what [is] the place of My rest?  Has My hand not made all these things?"

Psalms 148:4, Torah
[So] praise Him, you heavens of heavens, and you waters that [are] above the heavens.

25:53, Qur'an
[For] it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas, one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition.

Genesis 1:6 - 8, Torah
[For] God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters."  And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which [were] under the firmament from the waters which [were] above the firmament, and it was so.  And God called the firmament the heavens.  And the evening and the morning were the second day.

[2 Ezra 6:41], Torah
[Thus,] You made the spirit of the firmament upon the second day, and commanded it to part asunder, and to make a division between the waters, that the one part might go up, and the other remain beneath.

55:19 - 20, Qur'an
[Thus] He released the two seas, meeting; between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses.

55:22 - 23, Qur'an
[Whereby] from both of them emerge pearl and coral.  So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

We Opened the Gates of the Heaven with Water Pouring Down

Then He Set His Bow in the Cloud as a Covenant - so do you See Any Breaks in the Heavens?

[2 Ezra 16:58], Torah
He has shut the sea in the midst of the waters, and with His word, He has hanged the earth upon the waters.

2 Peter 3:5 - 6, Gospel
[But] for this, they are willingly ignorant, that by the word of God, the heavens were of old, and the earth, standing out of the water, and through the water.  Whereby the world perished back then, being overflowed with water -

[Book of Enoch 54:7], Torah
[For] in those days, the punishment of the Lord of spirits will go out, and all the storehouses of the waters which are above the heaven and under the earth, will be opened.

[Book of Enoch 54:9], Torah
And all those who dwell upon the dry ground, and those who dwell under the ends of heaven, will be wiped out.

Genesis 7:11, Torah
[This was] in the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of the heavens were opened.

54:9 - 12, Qur'an
[For] the people of Noah denied before them, and they denied Our servant and said, "A madman," and he was repelled.  So he invoked his Lord, "Indeed, I am overpowered, so help."  Then We opened the gates of the heaven with water pouring down and caused the earth to burst with springs, and the waters met for a matter already predestined.

Genesis 8:1 - 2, Torah
[Then] God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that [were] with him in the ark, and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged; the fountains of the deep and the windows of the heavens were also stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained.

Genesis 9:8 - 9, Torah
And God spoke to Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, "And I, behold, I establish My covenant with you, and with your seed after you;

Genesis 9:12 - 13, Torah
[Whereby] this [is] the token of the covenant which I make between Me and you and every living creature that [is] with you, for perpetual generations.  I set My bow in the cloud, and it will be for a token of a covenant between Me and the earth.

Genesis 9:14 - 15, Torah
And it will come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow will be seen in the cloud.  And I will remember My covenant, which [is] between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters will no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

Genesis 9:16, Torah
[For] the bow will be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that [is] upon the earth."

67:3, Qur'an
[And thus He created the bow with seven colors in layers, as He also] created seven heavens in layers.  You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency.  So return [your] vision [to the heaven]; do you see any breaks?

Psalms 104:9, Torah
[For He has] set a bound that they may not pass over; that [the waters] do not turn again to cover the earth.

[Sirach 43:11 - 12], Torah
[So] look upon the rainbow, and praise Him who made it; very beautiful it is in the brightness thereof.  It encompasses the heaven about with a glorious circle, and the hands of the Most High have bent it.

We have Created Above you Seven Layered Heavens

71:15, Qur'an
Do you not consider how God has created seven heavens in layers?

65:12, Qur'an
[For] it is God who has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them.  [His] command descends among them so you may know that God is over all things Competent and that God has encompassed all things in knowledge.

Isaiah 48:13 , Torah
[Thus it is] My hand [that] has also laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand has spanned the heavens; [when] I call to them, they stand up together.

Psalms 115:16, Torah
[For] the heaven, [even] the heavens, [are] the Lord's, but He has given the earth to the children of men.

2 Corinthians 12:2, Gospel
[And] I knew a man in the Messiah over fourteen years ago, whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell, God knows; such was caught up to the third heaven.

Ephesians 4:10 , Gospel
[And] he who descended is also the same who ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.

23:17, Qur'an
[Thus] We have created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware.

How Clearly they will See on the Day they Come to Us - there will Come to them the News of that which they used to Ridicule

For those who Committed Crimes used to Laugh at those who Believed

39:46, Qur'an
Say, "O God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, You will judge between Your servants concerning that over which they used to differ."

10:99 - 101, Qur'an
[But] had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed - all of them entirely.  Then, would you compel the people in order that they become believers?  And it is not for a soul to believe except by permission of God, and He will place defilement upon those who will not use reason.  Say, "Observe what is in the heavens and earth."  But of no avail will be signs or warners to a people who do not believe.

10:6, Qur'an
Indeed, in the alternation of the night and the day and [in] what God has created in the heavens and the earth are signs for a people who fear God.

25:21, Qur'an
[But] those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?"  They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence.

26:4 - 6, Qur'an
[For] if We willed, We could send down to them a sign from the heaven for which their necks would remain humbled.  [But] no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it.  For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule.

83:29 - 34, Qur'an
Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.  And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances.  And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting.  And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost."  But they had not been sent as guardians over them.  So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers,

28:75, Qur'an
[For on that Day,] We will extract from every nation a witness and say, "Produce your proof," and they will know that the truth belongs to God, and lost from them is that which they used to invent.

19:38 - 39, Qur'an
[Thus] how [clearly] they will hear and see the Day they come to Us, but the wrongdoers today are in clear error.  [So] warn them, of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded; and [yet], they are in [a state of] heedlessness, and they do not believe.

32:12 - 13, Qur'an
[So] if you could but see when the criminals are hanging their heads before their Lord, [saying], "Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so return us [to the world]; we will work righteousness.  Indeed, we are [now] certain."  And if We had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together."

42:47, Qur'an
[So] respond to your Lord before a Day comes from God of which there is no repelling.  No refuge will you have that Day, nor for you will there be any denial.

You will Surely be Resurrected on the Last Day

They will be Enveloped by what they used to Ridicule

64:7, Qur'an
Those who disbelieve have claimed that they will never be resurrected.  Say, "Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected; then you will surely be informed of what you did.  And that, for God, is easy."

23:78 - 80, Qur'an
[For] it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.  And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered.  And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day.  Then will you not reason?

11:7 - 8, Qur'an
But if you say, "Indeed, you are resurrected after death," those who disbelieve will surely say, "This is not but obvious magic."  And if We hold back from them the punishment for a limited time, they will surely say, "What detains it?"  Unquestionably, on the Day it comes to them, it will not be averted from them, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule.

23:81 - 83, Qur'an
[For] they say like what the former peoples said.  They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?  We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples.

23:34 - 36, Qur'an
And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers.  Does he promise you that when you have died and become dust and bones that you will be brought forth [once more]?  How far, how far, is that which you are promised."

45:24, Qur'an
And they say, "There is not but our worldly life; we die and live, and nothing destroys us except time."  And they have of that no knowledge; they are only assuming.

16:38 - 39, Qur'an
And they swear by God their strongest oaths [that] God will not resurrect one who dies.  But yes - [it is] a true promise [binding] upon Him, but most of the people do not know.  [It is] so He will make clear to them [the truth of] that wherein they differ and so those who have disbelieved may know that they were liars -

[2 Ezra 6:27 - 28], Torah
For evil will be put out, and deceit will be quenched.  As for faith, it will flourish, corruption will be overcome, and the Truth, which has been so long without fruit, will be declared.

6:30, Qur'an
[So] if you could but see when they will be made to stand before their Lord.  He will say, "Is this not the truth?"  They will say, "Yes, by our Lord."  He will [then] say, "So taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve.

45:35, Qur'an
That is because you took the verses of God in ridicule, and worldly life deluded you."  So that Day they will not be removed from it, nor will they be asked to appease [God].

45:32 - 33, Qur'an
[For] when it was said, "Indeed, the promise of God is truth and the Hour [is coming] - no doubt about it," you said, "We know not what is the Hour.  We assume only assumption, and we are not convinced."  And the evil consequences of what they did will appear to them, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule -

17:98 - 99, Qur'an
That is their recompense because they disbelieved in Our verses and said, "When we are bones and crumbled particles, will we [truly] be resurrected [in] a new creation?"  Do they not see that God, who created the heavens and earth, is [the one] Able to create the likes of them?  And He has appointed for them a term, about which there is no doubt.  But the wrongdoers refuse [anything] except disbelief.

You will See the Earth a Leveled Plain, the Day when We will Remove the Mountains

You will Not See Any Curve, and those who Mocked will be Enveloped by what they used to Ridicule

41:53, Qur'an
We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth.  But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness?

13:3, Qur'an
[For] it is He who spread the earth [flat] and placed therein firmly set mountains and rivers; and from all of the fruits He made therein two mates; He causes the night to cover the day.  Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

18:47, Qur'an
[So warn of] the Day when We will remove the mountains and you will see the earth a leveled plain, and We will gather them and not leave behind from them anyone.

20:105 - 107, Qur'an
[So] they ask you about the mountains, so say, "My Lord will blow them away with a blast.  And He will leave the earth a level plain; you will not see therein any crookedness or any curve."

Isaiah 54:10, Torah
"For the mountains will depart, and the hills will be removed; but My kindness will not depart from you, neither will the covenant of My peace be removed," says the Lord who has mercy on you.

69:13 - 15, Qur'an
[Thus] when the Horn is blown with one blast and the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blow - then on that Day, the Resurrection will occur,

34:51 - 53, Qur'an
And if you could see when they are terrified but there is no escape, and they will be seized from a place nearby.  And they will [then] say, "We believe in it!"  But how for them will be the taking [of faith] from a place far away?  And they had already disbelieved in it before and would assault the unseen from a place far away.

[For they said,] "Earth has a diameter of roughly 8,000 miles, and is round because gravity pulls matter into a ball [G = 6.693 +/- 0.027 (sciencemag.org) = 6.666 to 6.72 Nm^2/kg^2]." - space.com

Revelation 6:14, Gospel
And [so] every mountain and island were moved out of their places; and the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together.

6:5, Qur'an
For they had denied the truth when it came to them, but there is going to reach them the news of what they used to ridicule -

50:22, Qur'an
[It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp -"

[Shepherd of Hermas 3:4], Gospel
[So] behold, He removes the mountains and the hills and the heavens and the seas, and all things are made level for His elect, that He may fulfill the promise to them which He promised.

52:10 - 12, Qur'an
[So warn of the Day when] the mountains will pass on, departing - then woe, that Day, to the deniers, who are in [empty] discourse amusing themselves -

11:21, Qur'an
Those are the ones who will have lost themselves, and lost from them is what they used to invent.

88:20 - 22, Qur'an
[Then do they not look] at the earth - how it is flattened [as a carpet spread out]?  So remind, you are only a reminder.  You are not over them a controller -

21:41, Qur'an
[For] already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by what they used to ridicule.

The Stars will Fall from Heaven to the Earth on the Day of Resurrection

For Every Matter is a Time of Settlement and they will be Enveloped by what they used to Ridicule

Matthew 24:29, Gospel
[Jesus said,] "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken."

75:6, Qur'an
[So] he asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?"

81:1, Qur'an
When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness] -

75:8, Qur'an
And the moon darkens

81:2, Qur'an
And when the stars fall, dispersing -

Isaiah 34:4, Torah
All the host of heaven will be dissolved, and the heavens will be rolled together as a scroll, and all their host will fall down, as the leaf falls off from the vine, and as a falling [fig] from the fig tree -

52:9 - 12, Qur'an
[For] on the Day the heaven will shake.

[For they said,] "Stars are giant, luminous spheres of plasma.  There are billions of them — including our own sun — in the Milky Way Galaxy."  - space.com

Revelation 6:13, Gospel
And [thus] the stars of heaven fell to the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken by a mighty wind.

54:3 - 5, Qur'an
[For] they denied and followed their inclinations.  But for every matter is a [time of] settlement.  And there has already come to them of information that in which there is deterrence - extensive wisdom - but warning does not avail [them].

37:69 - 72, Qur'an
[For] indeed they found their fathers astray.  So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps.  And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples, and We had already sent among them warners.

40:83, Qur'an
[But] when their messengers came to them with clear proofs, they [merely] rejoiced in what they had of knowledge, but they were enveloped by what they used to ridicule.

The Heavens will be Rolled Together as a Scroll on the Day of Resurrection

For We Made the Heaven a Protected Ceiling, so there is Going to Reach them the News of what they used to Ridicule

Hebrews 1:10 - 12, Gospel
You, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of Your hands, they will perish; but You remain; and they all will wax old as a garment does; and as a vesture, You will fold them up, and they will be changed, but You are the same, and Your years will not fail.

21:104, Qur'an
[For this is] the Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records.  As We began the first creation, We will repeat it.  [That is] a promise binding upon Us.  Indeed, We will do it.

Isaiah 34:4, Torah
And [thus] the heavens will be rolled together as a scroll, and all the host of heaven will be dissolved, and all their host will fall down, as the leaf falls off from the vine, and as a falling [fig] from the fig tree.

[For they say,] "The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena." - Carl Sagan

Revelation 6:14, Gospel
And [so] the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

21:32, Qur'an
[For] We made the heaven a protected ceiling, but they, from its signs, are turning away.

6:5, Qur'an
For they had denied the truth when it came to them, but there is going to reach them the news of what they used to ridicule.

39:67, Qur'an
[For] they have not appraised God with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand.  Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.

3:133, Qur'an
[So] hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous.

When the Earth is Shaken with its Final Earthquake

The Great Day of His Wrath has Come, and who will be Able to Stand?

Mark 13:4, Gospel
[They asked Jesus,] "Tell us, when will these things be?  And what [will be] the sign when all these things will be fulfilled?"

Mark 13:8, Gospel
[So Jesus answered them,] "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles, these [are] the beginnings of sorrows."

[2 Ezra 9:3 - 5], Torah
Therefore, when there will be seen earthquakes and uproars of the people in the world; then you will well understand, that the Most High spoke of those things from the days that were before you, even from the beginning.  For as all that is made in the world has a beginning and an end, and the End is manifest.

99:1 - 5, Qur'an
[And thus] when the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake, and the earth discharges its burdens, and man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - that Day, it will report its news, because your Lord has commanded it.

79:6 - 7, Qur'an
[And so] on the Day the quake will quake, there will follow it the subsequent [one].

Revelation 6:12 - 14, Gospel
[And thus,] there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; and the stars of heaven fell to the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken by a mighty wind.  And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Revelation 6:17, Gospel
For the Great Day of His wrath has come; and who will be able to stand?

I Create New Heavens and a New Earth, and Brought within View that Day is Hell

For God Begins Creation and then Repeats it

29:19 - 21, Qur'an
Have they not considered how God begins creation and then repeats it?  Indeed that, for God, is easy.  Say, "Travel through the land and observe how He began creation.  Then God will produce the final creation.  Indeed God, over all things, is Competent."  He punishes whom He wills and has mercy upon whom He wills, and to Him you will be returned.

22:55, Qur'an
But those who disbelieve will not cease to be in doubt of it until the Hour comes upon them unexpectedly or there comes to them the punishment of a barren Day -

21:104, Qur'an
The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records.  As We began the first creation, We will repeat it.  [That is] a promise binding upon Us.  Indeed, We will do it.

14:48, Qur'an
[And thus,] on the Day the earth will be replaced by another earth, and the heavens, and all creatures will come out before God, the One, the Prevailing.

Isaiah 65:17, Torah
[So] behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former will not be remembered, nor come to mind.

89:23, Qur'an
And brought [within view], that Day, is Hell - that Day, man will remember, but what good to him will be the remembrance?

2 Peter 3:13, Gospel
Nevertheless, we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein righteousness dwells.

50:31 - 32, Qur'an
[For] Paradise will be brought near to the righteous, not far, [it will be said], "This is what you were promised - for every returner [to God] and keeper [of His covenant]."

Revelation 20:15 - 21:1, Gospel
[But] whoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth passed away; and there was no more sea.

82:1 - 7, Qur'an
[And thus,] when the sky breaks apart and when the stars fall, scattering, and when the seas are erupted and when the [contents of] graves are scattered, a soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.  O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you?

They used to Worship the Jinn - those who have Sought to Touch Heaven

They have Claimed between God and the Jinn a Lineage

18:50, Qur'an
[So remember] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except for Iblees [Satan].  He was of the jinn and departed from the command of his Lord.

7:12, Qur'an
[So God] said, "What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you?"  [Satan] said, "I am better than him.  You created me from fire and created him from clay."

7:13, Qur'an
[So God] said, "Descend from Paradise, for it is not for you to be arrogant therein.  So get out; indeed, you are of the debased."

Isaiah 14:13 - 14, Torah
[And so Satan has] said in [his] heart, "I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God, I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north.  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High."

72:4, Qur'an
[And thus a group of the jinn said, "Indeed,] our foolish one has been saying about God an excessive transgression.

72:11, Qur'an
[But] among us are the righteous, and among us are [others] not so; we were [of] divided ways.

72:8 - 9, Qur'an
And [so] we [too] have sought to touch the heaven but found it filled with powerful guards and burning flames.  And we used to sit therein in positions for hearing, but whoever listens now will find a burning flame lying in wait for him."

Deuteronomy 4:19, Torah
[So take heed,] unless you lift up your eyes to heaven, and when you see all the soldiers of heaven, and the sun, and the moon, and the stars, [and] should be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the Lord your God has divided to all nations under the whole heaven.

34:40, Qur'an
[So mention] the Day when He will gather them all and then say to the angels, "Did these people used to worship you?"

34:41, Qur'an
They will say, "Exalted are You!  You are our benefactor not them.  Rather, they used to worship the jinn, most of them were believers in them."

37:158 - 160, Qur'an
[For] they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment].  Exalted is God above what they describe, except the chosen servants of God [who do not share in that sin].

43:84, Qur'an
[For] it is God who is [the only] deity in the heaven, and on the earth [the only] deity.  And He is the Wise, the Knowing.

6:100, Qur'an
[But] they have attributed to God partners - the jinn, while He has created them - and have fabricated for Him sons and daughters without knowledge.  Exalted is He and high above what they describe.

18:50, Qur'an
Then will you take [Satan] and his descendants as allies other than Me while they are enemies to you?  Wretched it is for the wrongdoers as an exchange.

18:51 - 52, Qur'an
[For] I did not make [the jinn] witness to the creation of the heavens and the earth or to the creation of themselves, and I would not have taken the misguiders as assistants.  [So warn of] the Day when He will say, "Call 'My partners' whom you claimed," and they will invoke them, but they will not respond to them.  And We will put between them [a valley of] destruction.

6:128, Qur'an
[Thus on] the Day when He will gather them together [He will say], "O company of jinn, you have [misled] many of mankind."  And their allies among mankind will say, "Our Lord, some of us profited from others, and we have [now] reached our term, which You appointed for us."  He will say, "The Fire is your residence, wherein you will abide eternally, except for what God wills.  Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing."

26:91 - 95, Qur'an
And [so] Hellfire will be brought forth for the deviators, and it will be said to them, "Where are those you used to worship other than God?  Can they help you or help themselves?"  So they will be overturned into Hellfire, they and the deviators and the soldiers of [Satan], all together.

41:29, Qur'an
And those who disbelieved will [then] say, "Our Lord, show us those who misled us of the jinn and men [so] we may put them under our feet that they will be among the lowest."

26:96 - 99, Qur'an
[But] they will say while they dispute therein, "By God, we were indeed in manifest error when we equated [the soldiers of Satan] with the Lord of the worlds.  And no one misguided us except the criminals."

36:60 - 64, Qur'an
[Then God will say,] "Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan - [for] indeed, he is to you a clear enemy - and that you worship [only] Me?  This is a straight path.  And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?  This is the Hellfire which you were promised.  [Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny."

This is the Fire which you used to Deny, then is this Magic, or do you Not See?

And so the Arrogant will be Enveloped by what they used to Ridicule

4:119 - 121, Qur'an
[Satan said] "I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them [sinful] desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of God."  And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of God has certainly sustained a clear loss.  Satan promises them and arouses desire in them.  But Satan does not promise them except delusion.  The refuge of those will be Hell, and they will not find from it an escape.

43:78, Qur'an
[For] We had certainly brought you the truth, but most of you, to the truth, were averse.

38:2, Qur'an
[For] those who disbelieve are in pride and dissension.

16:24, Qur'an
And [so] when it is said to them, "What has your Lord sent down?"  They say, "Legends of the former peoples,"

40:56, Qur'an
[But] indeed, those who dispute concerning the signs of God without [any] authority having come to them - there is not within their breasts except pride, [the extent of] which they cannot reach.  So seek refuge in God.  Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Seeing.

1 Corinthians 2:5 - 6, Gospel
[And thus] your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.  Howbeit we speak wisdom among those who are perfect, yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world - that comes to nothing.

22:16, Qur'an
And thus have We sent the Qur'an down as verses of clear evidence and because God guides whom He intends.

31:7, Qur'an
[But] when Our verses are recited to him, he turns away arrogantly as if he had not heard them, as if there was in his ears deafness.  So give him tidings of a painful punishment.

31:6, Qur'an
And of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech to mislead [others] from the way of God without knowledge and who takes it in ridicule.  Those will have a humiliating punishment.

2 Peter 2:1 - 2, Gospel
[For] there were false prophets also among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who privily will bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.  And many will follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth will be evil spoken of.

39:32, Qur'an
So who is more unjust than one who lies about God and denies the truth when it has come to him?  Is there not in Hell a residence for the disbelievers?

7:38, Qur'an
[God] will say, "Enter among nations which had passed on before you of jinn and mankind into the Fire."  Every time a nation enters, it will curse its sister until, when they have all overtaken one another therein, the last of them will say about the first of them, "Our Lord, these had misled us, so give them a double punishment of the Fire."  He will say, "For each is double, but you do not know."

38:62 - 63, Qur'an
And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst?  Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?"

23:108 - 110, Qur'an
He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me.  Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.'  But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them."

[Wisdom of Solomon 5:3 - 4], Torah
[So] they, repenting and groaning for anguish of spirit, will say within themselves, "This was he, whom we had sometimes in derision, and a proverb of reproach.  We fools accounted his life madness, and his end to be without honor.

[Wisdom of Solomon 5:6 - 8], Torah
Therefore we have erred from the way of truth, and the light of righteousness has not shined to us, and the sun of righteousness did not rise upon us.  We wearied ourselves in the way of wickedness and destruction; we have gone through deserts, where there lay no way; but as for the way of the Lord, we have not known it.  What has pride profited us?  Or what good has riches with our vaunting brought us?"

52:14 - 16, Qur'an
[Thus the angels will say,] "This is the Fire which you used to deny.  Then is this magic, or do you not see?  [Enter to] burn therein; then be patient or impatient - it is all the same for you.  You are only being recompensed [for] what you used to do.

40:75 - 76, Qur'an
That was because you used to exult upon the earth without right and you used to behave insolently.  Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant."

39:48, Qur'an
And [so] there will appear to them the evils they had earned, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule.

7:53, Qur'an
[So] do they await except its result?  The Day its result comes those who had ignored it before will say, "The messengers of our Lord had come with the truth, so are there [now] any intercessors to intercede for us or could we be sent back to do other than we used to do?"  They will have lost themselves, and lost from them is what they used to invent.

38:87 - 88, Qur'an
[So this] is but a reminder to the worlds.  And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time."

40:59, Qur'an
[For] indeed, the Hour is coming - no doubt about it - but most of the people do not believe.
