[Remember] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed God gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to God]."
She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is God; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is."
Psalms 33:4 - 6, Torah
For the word of the Lord [is] right; and all His works [are done] in truth. He loves righteousness and judgement, the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.
[Thus He is the] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a wife and He created all things? And He is, of all things, Knowing.
And [thus,] exalted is the nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son.
But they have attributed [sons] to Him from His servants a portion. Indeed, man is clearly ungrateful.
[For] the Jews say, "Ezra is the son of God"; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of God." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them] -
Exodus 4:22, Torah
[For they said,] "The Lord says, 'Israel [is] My son, [even] My firstborn.'"
Jeremiah 31:9, Torah
[And they said, "The Lord says,] 'I am a Father to Israel, and Ephraim [is] My firstborn.'"
10:68 - 69, Qur'an
[And thus] they have said, "God has taken a son." Exalted is He; He is the [one] Free of need. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. You have no authority for this [claim]. Do you say about God that which you do not know? Say, "Indeed, those who invent falsehood about God will not succeed -
Romans 1:25, Gospel
[For they] changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen."
God Neither Begets, Nor is Born
The Jews and the Christians Say, "God has Begotten"
Whom do Men Say that I, the Son of Man, am?
You Say that I am the Son of God
God Says to it, "Be," and it is
All are Your Servants
God Formed me from the Womb to be His Servant
Behold My Servant
Devils Came out, Crying, "You are the Son of God"
Satan Said, "If you are the Son of God"
19:88 - 89, Qur'an
They say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son."
[But] it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son.
Isaiah 43:10, Torah
"[So] you [are] My witnesses," the Lord says, "And My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I [am] He, before Me there was no god formed, neither will there be after Me."
[For] He neither begets, nor is born -
[For] He is the First, and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate, and He is, of all things, Knowing.
Isaiah 44:6, Torah
[And] thus the Lord, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer the Lord of hosts says; "I am the First, and I am the Last; and beside Me there is no god.
Isaiah 41:4, Torah
[So] who has contrived and done [it], calling the generations from the beginning? I the Lord, the First, and with the Last; I [am] He.
Revelation 1:8, Gospel
I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord [God], who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.
Isaiah 43:13, Torah
"Indeed, before the day [was,] I [am] He; and [there are] none who can deliver out of My hand, I will work, and who will let it?"
Revelation 21:6, Gospel
[Thus] He said to me, "It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give to him who is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely."
Romans 1:21 - 22, Gospel
[And so] when they knew God, they glorified [Him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools -
Romans 1:25, Gospel
[For they] changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
37:151 - 152, Qur'an
[So] unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, "God has begotten," and indeed, they are liars.
[For] We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he spoke [or recited], Satan threw into it [some misunderstanding] -
Psalms 89:26 - 27, Torah
[For they say, "David] will cry to Me, 'You [are] my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.' Also I will make him [My] firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
Exodus 4:22, Torah
[And they say,] "The Lord says, 'Israel [is] My son, [even] My firstborn.'"
Jeremiah 31:9, Torah
[And they say, "The Lord says,] 'I am a Father to Israel, and Ephraim [is] My firstborn.'"
1 Chronicles 28:6, Torah
[And they say,] "He said to [David], 'Solomon your son, he will build My House and My courts, for I have chosen him [to be] My son, and I will be his Father.'"
[2 Ezra 2:47], Torah
[And they say, "The angel] answered and said to [Ezra], 'It is the son of God, whom they have confessed in the world.'"
[So] the Jews say, "Ezra is the son of God."
[But] the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of God."
Acts 9:20, Gospel
[For Saul] straightaway preached the Messiah in the synagogues, that he is the son of God.
[Thus] that is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May God destroy them; how are they deluded?
They have no knowledge of it, nor had their fathers. Grave is the word that comes out of their mouths; they speak not except a lie.
Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than God, they would have found within it much contradiction.
22:52 - 53, Qur'an
[So] God abolishes that which Satan throws in; then God makes precise His verses. And God is Knowing and Wise. [That is] so He may make what Satan throws in a trial for those within whose hearts is disease and those hard of heart. And indeed, the wrongdoers are in extreme dissension -
[For] the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of God and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. And to God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination.
[So] O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about God except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of God [and the Messiah] and His word which He directed to Mary, and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in God and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, God is but one God. [And] Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is God as Disposer of affairs.
Matthew 16:13, Gospel
[Remember] when Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, "Whom do men say that I, the Son of man, am?"
Mark 8:28, Gospel
And they answered, "John the Baptist, but some [say], Elijah; and others, one of the prophets."
Mark 8:29, Gospel
And he says to them, "But whom do you say that I am?" And Peter answers and says to him, "You are the Christ."
Luke 9:20, Gospel
[And likewise in Luke,] Peter answering said, "The Messiah of God."
Matthew 16:20, Gospel
Then he charged his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus, the Messiah.
God took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture, [saying], "You must make it clear to the people and not conceal it." But they threw it away behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price. And wretched is that which they purchased.
Matthew 16:16, Gospel
[For Matthew testified that] Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Messiah, the son of the living God."
Mark 8:29, Gospel
[Yet Mark and Luke agreed in testimony that,] Peter answered and said to him, "You are the Christ."
Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than God, they would have found within it much contradiction.
[So] indeed, those who inject deviation into Our verses are not concealed from Us. So, is he who is cast into the Fire better or he who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection? Do whatever you will; indeed, He is Seeing of what you do.
[But] indeed, among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in God and what was revealed to you and what was revealed to them, [being] humbly submissive to God. They do not exchange the verses of God for a small price. Those will have their reward with their Lord. Indeed, God is swift in account.
Luke 22:67 - 68, Gospel
[They asked,] "Are you the Christ? Tell us." And [Jesus] said to them, "If I tell you, you will not believe; and if I also ask [you], you will not answer me, nor let [me] go."
Mark 15:2, Gospel
And Pilate asked him, "Are you the king of the Jews?" And [Jesus] answering, said to him, "You say [it]."
John 18:37, Gospel
Pilate therefore said to him, "Are you a king then?" Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. To this end I was born, and for this cause I came into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears my voice."
John 18:38, Gospel
Pilate says to him, "What is truth?" And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and says to them, "I find no fault in him [at all]."
John 8:24 - 28, Gospel
[Jesus thereby said,] "I said therefore to you, that you will die in your sins, for if you do not believe that I am [him], you will die in your sins." Then they said to him, "Who are you?" And Jesus says to them, "Even [the same] that I said to you from the beginning. I have many things to say and to judge of you, but He who sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of Him." They did not understand that he spoke to them of the Father. Then Jesus said to them, "When you have lifted up the Son of man, then you will know that I am [him], and [that] I do nothing of myself; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things.
John 20:17, Gospel
[And indeed He is] my Father, and your Father [Creator]; and my God, and your God."
Luke 22:70, Gospel
Then they all said, "Are you then the son of God?" And [Jesus] said to them, "You say that I am."
And [thus it is] the Christians [who] say, "The Messiah is the son of God." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them].
[So God has sent down the Book] to warn those who say, "God has taken a son."
[It teaches] that exalted is the nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son.
[For] the Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger [and the Messiah]; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded.
[For] it is not [befitting] for God to take a son; Exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.
Hebrews 11:3, Gospel
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God -
Genesis 1:3, Torah
[For] God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
[2 Ezra 16:55 - 56], Torah
[And] who spoke but the word, 'Let the earth be made;' and it was made; 'Let the heaven be made;' and it was created. In His word were the stars made, and He knows the number of them.
[Thus] it is He who created the heavens and earth in truth. And the day He says, "Be," and it is, His word is the truth. And His is the dominion [on] the Day the Horn is blown. [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed; and He is the Wise, the Acquainted.
Psalms 148:5, Torah
[So] let them praise the name of the Lord, for He commanded, and they were created.
Psalms 33:9, Torah
For He spoke, and it was; He commanded, and it stood.
Psalms 105:31, Torah
He spoke, and there came various sorts of flies, [and] lice in all their coasts.
Psalms 105:34, Torah
He spoke, and the locusts came, and caterpillars, and that without number.
[2 Ezra 6:43], Torah
[Thus,] as soon as Your word went forth, the work was made.
[Sirach 43:26], Torah
[So] by Him, their end has prosperous success, and by His word, all things exist -
John 1:3, Gospel
[For] all things were made by [God]; and without Him nothing was made that was made.
Genesis 2:7, Torah
And [thus] the Lord God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
3:59 - 60, Qur'an
[And] indeed, the example of Jesus to God is like that of Adam. He created him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was. The truth is from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters.
James 1:18, Gospel
[For] of His own will, He produced us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
[Judith 16:14], Torah
[And thus,] let all of creation serve You; for You spoke, and they were made, You sent forth Your Spirit, and it created them, and there are none that can oppose Your command.
Psalms 119:89 - 91, Torah
Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness [is] to all generations, You have established the earth, and it abides. They continue this day according to Your ordinances, for all [are] Your servants.
1 Corinthians 15:27 - 28, Gospel
For He has submitted all things under His feet. But when He says all things are submitted under [Him, it is] manifest that He is excepted, who submitted all things under Him. And when all things will be submitted to Him, then the Son [of man] himself will also be submitted to Him who submitted all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
So is it other than the religion of God they desire, while to Him have submitted [all] those within the heavens and earth, willingly or by compulsion, and to Him they will be returned?
21:26 - 27, Qur'an
[Yet] they say, "The Most Merciful has taken a son." Exalted is He! Rather, they are [but] honored servants. They cannot precede Him in word, and they act by His command -
John 12:49, Gospel
For [Jesus said,] "I have not spoken of myself; but the [Creator] who sent me, He gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
John 5:30, Gospel
[For] I can of my own self do nothing, as I hear, I judge, and my judgement is just; because I do not seek my own will, but the will of the [Creator] who has sent me.
John 13:16, Gospel
[And] verily, verily, I say to you, 'The servant is not greater than his Lord; neither he who is sent greater than He who sent him.'
John 14:24, Gospel
[But] he who does not love, does not keep my sayings, and the word which you hear is not mine, but the [Creator's] who sent me."
And God will establish the truth by His words, even if the criminals dislike it.
Jeremiah 25:4, Torah
[And thus] the Lord has sent all His servants the prophets to you, rising early and sending [them]; but you have not listened, nor inclined your ear to hear.
Jeremiah 7:25 - 27, Torah
[For] since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt to this day I have even sent to you all My servants the prophets, rising up early and sending [them] daily. Yet they did not listen to Me, nor incline their ear, but they hardened their neck, they did worse than their fathers. Therefore you will speak all these words to them; but they will not hear you, you will also call to them; but they will not answer you.
Jeremiah 7:28, Torah
[So] you will say to them, "This [is] a nation that does not obey the voice of the Lord their God, nor receives correction, truth has perished, and is cut off from their mouth."
37:151 - 152, Qur'an
[And thus,] unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, "God has begotten," and indeed, they are liars.
19:92 - 93, Qur'an
[For] it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant.
[And] never would the Messiah disdain to be a servant of God, nor would the angels near [to Him]. And whoever disdains His worship and is arrogant - He will gather them to Himself all together -
Malachi 3:18, Torah
[Whereby] You [O Lord] will return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God and him who does not serve Him.
[Shepherd of Hermas 53:2], Gospel
When the mercy of the Lord will shine forth, then those who serve God will be made manifest; indeed, and all men will be made manifest.

[So remember] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed God gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to God]. He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous."
Isaiah 49:1, Torah

Luke 1:26, Gospel
[For] in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee, named Nazareth -
He said, "I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy.
Luke 1:31, Gospel
[For] behold, you will conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and will call his name Jesus."
Luke 1:38, Gospel
[So] Mary said, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord [God]; be it to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her.
[So] the one who guarded her chastity - We breathed into her through Our Spirit [Gabriel], and We made her and her son a sign for the worlds.
[And when] she conceived him, she withdrew with him to a remote place.
Isaiah 49:5, Torah
"And now," the Lord says, who formed me from the womb [to be] His servant, to bring Jacob again to Him, though Israel has not gathered; "Yet I will be glorious in the eyes of the Lord, and my God will be my strength.
19:31 - 32, Qur'an
[For] He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and charity as long as I remain alive and [made me] dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant."
19:27 - 29, Qur'an
Then she brought him to her people, carrying him. They said, "O Mary, you have certainly done a thing unprecedented. O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste." So she pointed to him. They said, "How can we speak to one who is in the cradle a child?"
*Luke 2:28 - 32, Gospel
[But Simeon, just and devout,] took [Jesus] up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, "Lord [God], now let Your servant depart in peace, according to Your word. For my eyes have seen Your salvation, which You have prepared before the face of all people; a light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of Your people Israel."
[Then Jesus] said [in the cradle], "Indeed, I am the servant of God. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet.
Psalms 116:16, Torah
[So] O Lord, truly I [am] Your servant; I [am] Your servant, [and] the son of Your handmaid, You have loosed my bonds."
*Isaiah 49:6, Torah
[So] He said, "It is a light thing that you should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel, I will also give you for a light to the Gentiles, that you may be My salvation to the end of the earth."
Say, "Praise be to God, and peace upon His servants whom He has chosen. Is God better or what they associate with Him?"
[For] Jesus was not but a servant upon whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel -
*Matthew 12:17 - 18, Gospel
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, "Behold My servant, whom I have chosen; My beloved, in whom My soul is well pleased, I will put My Spirit upon him, and he will show judgement to the Gentiles."
*Isaiah 42:1, Torah
[It reads,] behold My servant, whom I uphold; My elect, [in whom] My soul delights; I have put My Spirit upon him, he will bring forth judgement to the Gentiles.
Isaiah 42:5 - 9, Torah
Thus God the Lord says, "He who created the heavens, and stretched them out; He who spread forth the earth, and that which comes out of it; He who gives breath to the people upon it, and spirit to those who walk therein. I the Lord have called you in righteousness, and will hold your hand, and will keep you, and give you for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; to open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, [and] those who sit in darkness out of the prison house. I [am] the Lord, that [is] My name, and I will not give My glory to another, neither My praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are brought to pass, and I declare new things, before they spring forth, I tell you of them."
Isaiah 42:10, Torah
[So] sing to the Lord a new song, [and] His praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof -
[So] say, "Praise to God, who has not taken a son and has had no partner in [His] dominion and has no [need of a] protector out of weakness; and glorify Him with [great] glorification."
Isaiah 42:12, Torah
[And thus,] let them give glory to the Lord, and declare His praise in the islands.
Isaiah 42:17 - 20, Torah
[So that] they will be turned back, they will be greatly ashamed, who trust in graven images, who say to the molten images, 'You [are] our gods.' [So] hear, you deaf; and look, you blind, that you may see. Who [is] blind, but My servant? Or deaf, as My messenger [whom] I sent? Who [is] blind as [he who is] perfect, and blind as the Lord's servant? Seeing many things, but you do not observe; opening the ears, but he does not hear.
And [thus] if you invite them to guidance, they do not hear; and you see them looking at you while they do not see.
10:42 - 43, Qur'an
And among them are those who listen to you. But can you cause the deaf to hear, although they will not use reason? And among them are those who look at you. But can you guide the blind although they will not [attempt to] see?
Isaiah 42:23, Torah
[So] who among you will give ear to this? [Who] will listen and hear for the time to come?
25:1 - 2, Qur'an
[For] blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His servant that he may be to the worlds a warner - He to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and who has not taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination.
Isaiah 42:24, Torah
[But] they would not walk in His ways, neither were they obedient to His law -
43:36 - 47, Qur'an
[For] whoever is blinded from remembrance of the Most Merciful - We appoint for him a devil, and he is to him a companion. And indeed, the devils avert them from the way [of guidance] while they think that they are [rightly] guided.
They have said, "God has taken a son." Exalted is He; He is the [one] Free of need. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. You have no authority for this [claim]. Do you say about God that which you do not know?
37:156 - 157, Qur'an
Or do you have a clear authority? Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful.
Matthew 8:29, Gospel
[So] behold, [the devils] cried out, saying, "What have we to do with you, Jesus, son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?"
Mark 3:11, Gospel
And unclean spirits, when they saw [Jesus], fell down before him, and cried, saying, "You are the son of God."
Mark 5:7, Gospel
[And so a man with an unclean spirit] cried with a loud voice, and said, "What have I to do with you, Jesus, [you] son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, that you do not torment me."
Luke 4:41, Gospel
And devils came out of many, crying out, and saying, "You are the son of God, the Messiah." And [Jesus] rebuked them, not allowing them to speak, for they knew that he was the Messiah.
Luke 8:28, Gospel
[And] when [a certain man, who had devils for a long time] saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, "What have I to do with you, Jesus, son of God Most High? I beseech you, do not torment me."
[So] do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement?
[Thus] a group [of you] He guided, and a group deserved [to be in] error. Indeed, they had taken the devils as allies instead of God while they thought that they were guided.
And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy - devils from mankind and jinn, inspiring to one another decorative speech in delusion. But if your Lord had willed, they would not have done it, so leave them and that which they invent.
[But] if an evil suggestion comes to you from Satan, then seek refuge in God. Indeed, He is Hearing and Knowing.
23:97 - 98, Qur'an
And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, and I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me."
7:201 - 202, Qur'an
[For] indeed, those who fear God - when an impulse touches them from Satan, they remember [Him] and at once they have insight. But their brothers - the devils increase them in error; then they do not stop short.
72:1 - 4, Qur'an
Say, "It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, 'Indeed, we have heard an amazing Qur'an. It guides to the right course, and we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone. And [it teaches] that exalted is the nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son and that our foolish one [Satan] has been saying about God an excessive transgression -"
Luke 4:3, Gospel
[For] the devil said to [Jesus], "If you are the son of God, command this stone that it be made bread."
Luke 4:9, Gospel
And [then the devil] brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, "If you are the son of God, cast yourself down from here."
22:52 - 54, Qur'an
[Thus] We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he spoke [or recited], Satan threw into it [some misunderstanding]. But God abolishes that which Satan throws in; then God makes precise His verses. And God is Knowing and Wise. [That is] so He may make what Satan throws in a trial for those within whose hearts is disease and those hard of heart. And indeed, the wrongdoers are in extreme dissension. And so those who were given knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord and [therefore] believe in it, and their hearts humbly submit to it. And indeed is God the Guide of those who have believed to a straight path.
[So] never let Satan avert you. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
He only orders you to evil and immorality and to say about God what you do not know.
John 8:45 - 47, Gospel
[And thus Jesus said,] "And because I tell [you] the truth, you do not believe me. Which of you convinces me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do you not believe me? He who is of God hears God's words, you therefore do not hear [them], because you are not of God.
John 8:44, Gospel
You are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father will you do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar, and the father of it."
[So] if an evil suggestion comes to you from Satan, then seek refuge in God. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
