Look to Me, and be Saved, for I am God and Beside Me there is No Savior

Thus they have No Knowledge who Set up the Wood [Cross], and Pray to a god that Cannot Save

2:107, Qur'an
Do you not know that to God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and [that] you do not have besides God any savior or any helper?

Isaiah 43:11, Torah
"[For] I, [even] I, [am] the Lord; and beside Me [there is] no savior -

Isaiah 42:8, Torah
[For] I [am] the Lord, that [is] My name, and I will not give My glory to another, neither My praise to graven images.

*Isaiah 45:22, Torah
[So] look to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth, for I [am] God, and [there are] none else.

Isaiah 45:19 - 21, Torah
I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth, I did not say to the seed of Jacob, "Seek Me in vain," I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
[So] assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you [who have] escaped of the nations, they have no knowledge who set up the wood [cross] of their graven image, and pray to a god [that] cannot save.  Tell [them] and bring [them] near; let them take counsel together, who has declared this from ancient time?  [Who] has told it from that time?  [Have] not I, the Lord?  And [there is] no god beside Me; a just God and a Savior; [there are] none beside Me."

Luke 1:46 - 47, Gospel
And [thus] Mary said, "My soul magnifies the Lord [God],
and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior."

7:196 - 197, Qur'an
[So] indeed, my Savior is God, who has sent down the Book; and He is an ally to the righteous.
And those you call upon besides Him are unable to help you, nor can they help themselves.

8:40, Qur'an
But if they turn away - then know that God is your Savior.  Excellent is the savior, and excellent is the helper.

Sections of Savior

God is the Savior of All Mankind, Especially of those who Believe, So Believe in God and His Messenger Muhammad

But Never will the Jews or Christians Approve of you, Even Though Mary Said, "My Spirit has Rejoiced in God my Savior," and David Said, "Wait Only Upon God, my Savior"

66:12, Qur'an
[So remember] Mary, the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into [her womb] through Our [Holy] Spirit, and she believed in the words of her Lord and His Scriptures and was of the devoutly obedient -

Luke 1:46 - 47, Gospel
[For] Mary said, "My soul magnifies the Lord,
and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior."

2:257, Qur'an
[And thus,] God is the Savior of those who believe. He brings them out from darknesses into the light. And those who disbelieve - their saviors are false gods. They take them out of the light into darknesses. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.

61:10 - 11, Qur'an
[So] O you who have believed, shall I guide you to a transaction that will save you from a painful punishment?
[It is that] you believe in God and His messenger and strive in the cause of God with your wealth and your lives. That is best for you, if you should know.

2:120, Qur'an
[But] never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say, "Indeed, the guidance of God is the [only] guidance." If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against God no savior or helper.

1 Timothy 4:10, Gospel
Therefore we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all mankind, especially of those who believe.

38:17, Qur'an
[So] be patient over what they say and remember Our servant, David, the possessor of strength; indeed, he was one who repeatedly turned back [to God] -

2 Samuel 22:2 - 3, Torah
[For David] said, "The Lord [is] my Rock, and my Fortress, and my Deliverer;
the God of my rock; in Him will I trust, [He is] my Shield, and the Horn of my Salvation, my High Tower, and my refuge, my Savior; You save me from violence.

Psalms 62:5 - 8, Torah
[And so,] my soul, wait only upon God; for my expectation [is] from Him.
He only [is] my Rock and my Salvation, [He is] my defense; I will not be moved.  In God [is] my Salvation and my glory, the Rock of my strength, [and] my refuge, [is] in God.  Trust in Him at all times; [you] people, pour out your heart before Him, God [is] a refuge for us.

Psalms 18:3, Torah
[And thus,] I will call on the Lord, [who is worthy] to be praised, so I will be saved from my enemies -

4:45, Qur'an
[For] God is most knowing of your enemies; and sufficient is God as a Savior, and sufficient is God as a helper.

Call upon Me in the Day of Trouble, I will Deliver you

For Look at the Generations of Old - Noah had Certainly Called Us, and We Saved him, Thus do We Save the Believers

2:186, Qur'an
When My servants ask you, concerning Me - indeed I am near.  I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me.  So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided.

[Sirach 2:6], Torah
[So] believe in Him, and He will help you; order your way aright, and trust in Him.

[Sirach 2:10 - 11], Torah
[For] look at the generations of old, and see; did any ever trust in the Lord, and were confounded?  Or did any abide in His fear, and were forsaken?  Or whom did He ever despise, who called upon Him?
For the Lord is full of compassion and mercy, longsuffering, and very pitiful, and forgives sins, and saves in a time of affliction.

[1 Maccabees 2:61], Torah
And thus consider throughout all ages, that none who put their trust in Him will be overcome -

[1 Maccabees 2:59 - 60], Torah
Ananias, Azarias, and Misael, by believing, were saved out of the flame.
Daniel, for his innocence, was delivered from the mouth of lions.

Psalms 145:18 - 19, Torah
[For] the Lord [is] near all those who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him, He will also hear their cry, and will save them.

37:75 - 76, Qur'an
[So remember that] Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders.
[For] We saved him and his family from the great affliction.

26:169 - 171, Qur'an
[And remember Lot, when he said,] "My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do."
So We saved him and his family, all, except an old woman among those who remained behind.

21:83 - 84, Qur'an
And [remember] Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful."
So We responded to him and removed what afflicted him of adversity.  And We gave him [back] his family and the like thereof with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for the servants [of God].

21:87 - 88, Qur'an
And [remember] the man of the fish [Jonah], when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree [anything] upon him.  And he called out within the darknesses, "There is no god except You; Exalted are You.  Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."
So We responded to him and saved him from the distress.  And thus do We save the believers.

Hebrews 5:7, Gospel
[And likewise remember Jesus,] who, in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears to Him who was able to save him from death, and was heard in that which he feared -

Mark 14:35, Gospel
[When he] went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

Luke 22:43, Gospel
And there appeared an angel to him from heaven, strengthening him.

Psalms 34:6 - 7, Torah
[So] this poor man cried, and the Lord heard [him], and saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them.

Psalms 22:24, Torah
For He has not despised or abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither has He hidden His Face from him; but when he cried to Him, He heard.

Psalms 50:15, Torah
[So] call upon Me [alone] in the day of trouble, I will deliver you, and you will glorify Me.

Jesus Continued All Night in Prayer to God, for to God Alone is the Supplication of Truth

So Establish Prayer for My Remembrance and do Not Associate Others with God

27:62, Qur'an
Who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth?  Is there a god with God?  Little do you remember -

Acts 10:2, Gospel
[For remember that there was a] devout [man], and one who feared God with all his house, who gave many alms to the people, and prayed to God always.

Luke 6:12, Gospel
And [remember that] it came to pass in those days, that [Jesus] went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

98:5, Qur'an
[Thus] they were not commanded except to serve God, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer [to God] and to give purifying [alms]. And that is the correct religion.

30:31, Qur'an
[So adhere to it], turning in repentance to Him, and fear Him and establish prayer and do not be of those who associate others with God -

20:14, Qur'an
[For] indeed, I am God. There is no god except Me, so serve Me and establish prayer for My remembrance.

6:162, Qur'an
[So] say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for God, Lord of the worlds -

Psalms 5:2, Torah
[So] listen to the voice of my cry, my King, and my God, for to You will I pray -

Psalms 84:8, Torah
O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer, give ear, O God of Jacob. "

13:14, Qur'an
[And thus] to Him [alone] is the supplication of truth. And those they call upon besides Him do not respond to them with a thing, except as one who stretches his hands toward water [from afar, calling it] to reach his mouth, but it will not reach it [thus]. And the supplication of the disbelievers is not but in error.

Psalms 69:13, Torah
[So] as for me, my prayer [is] to You, O Lord, [in] an acceptable time, O God, in the multitude of Your mercy hear me, in the truth of Your salvation.

2:153, Qur'an
[So] O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, God is with the patient.

The False gods are Unable to Give them Help

For they are the Works of Men’s Hands - After the Figure of a Man or the Wood of a Graven Image

[Wisdom of Solomon 13:10], Torah
They are miserable, and their hope is in dead things, who call them gods, which are the works of men’s hands, gold and silver, to show art in, and resemblances of beasts, or a stone good for nothing, the work of an ancient hand -

Isaiah 44:13, Torah
[For] the carpenter stretches out [his] rule; he marks it out with a line; he fits it with planes, and he marks it out with the compass, and makes it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.

Isaiah 44:17 - 18, Torah
And the residue thereof he makes a god, [even] his graven image, he falls down to it, and prostrates to [it], and prays to it, and says, "Deliver me; for you [are] my god."
They have not known or understood, for He has shut their eyes, that they cannot see; [and] their hearts, that they cannot understand.

Habakkuk 2:18 - 19, Torah
[So] what does the graven image profit, that the maker thereof has engraved it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusts therein, to make dumb idols?
Woe to him who says to the wood, "Awake;" [and] to the dumb stone, "Arise, it will teach!"  Behold, it [is] laid over with gold and silver, and [there is] no breath at all in the midst of it.

Isaiah 45:20, Torah
[So] assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you [who have] escaped of the nations, they have no knowledge who set up the wood [cross] of their graven image, and pray to a god [that] cannot save -

[Wisdom of Solomon 14:1], Torah
[For] one preparing himself to sail, and about to pass through the raging waves, calls upon a piece of wood more rotten than the vessel that carries him.

[Wisdom of Solomon 13:16], Torah
[Yet] he provided for it that it might not fall, knowing that it was unable to help itself; for it is an image, and has need of help;

7:192, Qur'an
And [thus] the false gods are unable to [give] them help, nor can they help themselves.

Isaiah 46:7, Torah
[Rather,] they bear [their false god] upon the shoulder, they carry him, and set him in his place, and he stands; from his place he will not remove, indeed, [one] will cry to him, yet he cannot answer, nor save him out of his trouble.

7:197, Qur'an
And [thus,] those you call upon besides Him are unable to help you, nor can they help themselves.

7:194, Qur'an
[For] indeed, those you [polytheists] call upon besides God are servants like you. So call upon them and let them respond to you, if you should be truthful.

7:195 - 196, Qur'an
Do they have feet by which they walk? Or do they have hands by which they strike? Or do they have eyes by which they see? Or do they have ears by which they hear?  Say, "Call your 'partners' and then conspire against me and give me no respite.
Indeed, my Savior is God, who has sent down the Book; and He is an ally to the righteous."

They Changed His Glory into the Similitude of an Ox and an Image Like a Corruptible Man

And Thus they Forgot God their Savior, and Served the Creature More than the Creator

Hosea 13:4, Torah
I [am] the Lord your God from the land of Egypt, and you will know no god but Me, for [there is] no savior beside Me.

*1 Corinthians 10:7, Gospel
[So] neither be idolaters, as some of them [were]; as it is written, "The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play."

*Exodus 32:6 - 9, Torah
[It reads,] and they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
And the Lord said to Moses, "Go, get down; for your people, whom you brought out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted [themselves].  They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them, they have made themselves a molten calf, and have prostrated to it, and have sacrificed thereto, and said, 'These [are] your gods, O Israel, which have brought you up out of the land of Egypt.'"  And the Lord said to Moses, "I have seen these people, and, behold, they [are] a stiffnecked people.'"

Acts 7:41, Gospel
[For] they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice to the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.

20:88, Qur'an
[For the Samiri] extracted for them [the statue of] a calf which had a lowing sound, and they said, "This is your god and the god of Moses, but he forgot."

Psalms 106:20 - 21, Torah
Thus they changed His glory into the similitude of an ox who eats grass.
[And so] they forgot God their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt.

Nehemiah 9:18, Torah
Indeed, [for] when they had made themselves a molten calf, [they] said, "This [is] your god who brought you up out of Egypt, and had done great provocations."

1 Corinthians 10:11 - 12, Gospel
Now all these things happened to them for examples, and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world have come.
Therefore let him who thinks he stands, take heed unless he falls.

Romans 1:21 - 23, Gospel
Because when they knew God, they glorified [Him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like a corruptible man, and birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.

9:31, Qur'an
[And so, like the calf,] they have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides God, and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary,
[and have thus changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible men].  And they were not commanded except to serve one God; there is no god except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him -

16:20, Qur'an
[For] those they invoke other than God create nothing, and they [themselves] are created.

Romans 1:25, Gospel
[But they] changed the truth of God into a lie, and revered and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever.

Seek God with All your Heart and He will Guide you to Himself on a Straight Path

And for those who are Guided - He Increases them in Guidance and Gives them their Righteousness

2:177, Qur'an
Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but righteousness is one who believes in God, the Last Day, the angels, the Scripture, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask, and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives purifying [alms]; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in suffering, hardship, and a time of stress. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who fear [God].

[Shepherd of Hermas 46:4], Gospel
[So] I say to him; "Sir, these commandments are great and beautiful and glorious, and are able to gladden the heart of the man who is able to observe them.  But I do not know whether these commandments can be kept by a man, for they are very hard."

[Shepherd of Hermas 46:5 - 6], Gospel
[So] he answered and said to me; "If you set it before yourself that they can be kept, you will easily keep them, and they will not be hard; but if it once enters into your heart that they cannot be kept by a man, you will not keep them.
But now I say to you; if you do not keep them, but neglect them, you will not have salvation, neither your children or your household, since you have already pronounced judgement against yourself that these commandments cannot be kept by a man."

Matthew 19:25 - 26, Gospel
[So] when his disciples heard [it], they were exceedingly amazed, saying, "Who then can be saved?"
But Jesus beheld [them], and said to them, "With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."

[Shepherd of Hermas 47:3], Gospel
"[For if] man is lord of all the creatures of God and masters all things, can he also not master these commandments?  Aye," he says, "The man who has the Lord [God] in his heart can master all these commandments.

[Shepherd of Hermas 47:4], Gospel
But those who have the Lord on their lips, while their heart is hardened, and are far from the Lord, to them these commandments are hard and inaccessible.

[Shepherd of Hermas 47:5], Gospel
Therefore set your Lord in your heart, you who are empty and fickle in the faith, and you will perceive that nothing is easier than these commandments, nor sweeter, nor more gentle."

[Wisdom of Solomon 1:1 - 2], Torah
[So] love righteousness, you who are judges of the earth; think of the Lord with a good [heart,] and seek Him in simplicity of heart.
For He will be found of those who do not tempt Him; and shows Himself to such who do not distrust Him.

4:175, Qur'an
[And thus for] those who believe in God and hold fast to Him - He will admit them to mercy from Himself and bounty and guide them to Himself on a straight path.

47:17, Qur'an
And [for] those who are guided - He increases them in guidance and gives them their righteousness.

Psalms 25:9 - 10, Torah
[For] He will guide the meek in judgement, and He will teach the meek His way.
All the paths of the Lord [are] mercy and truth to such who keep His covenant and His testimonies.

Psalms 119:2, Torah
[And thus,] blessed [are] those who keep His testimonies, [and who] seek Him with the whole heart.

Deuteronomy 4:29, Torah
[For] if you will seek the Lord your God, you will find [Him], if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Jesus Said, "You will Love the Lord your God with All your Heart, this is the First Commandment"

But Among the People are those who Love Others as they should Love God, for the Lord Tests you, to Know Whether you Love the Lord your God with all your Heart

[Sirach 13:14], Torah
[So] love the Lord [God] all your life, and call upon Him for your salvation -

Psalms 145:20, Torah
[For] the Lord [God] preserves all those who love Him, but He will destroy all the wicked.

[Sirach 2:15], Torah
[And thus,] those who fear the Lord [God] will not disobey His Word; and those who love Him will keep His ways.

Psalms 26:2, Torah
[So] test me, O Lord, and try me; refine my reins and my heart -

Deuteronomy 13:1 - 13:3, Torah
[And thus,] if there arises among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder,
and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, whereby he spoke to you, saying, 'Let us go after other gods, which you have not known, and let us serve them;' you will not hear the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, for the Lord your God tests you, to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul."

2:165, Qur'an
[And yet,] among the people are those who take [gods] other than God as equals [to Him].  They love them as they [should] love God.  But those who believe are stronger in love for God.  And if only they who have wronged would consider [that] when they see the punishment, [they will be certain] that all power belongs to God and that God is severe in punishment.

Deuteronomy 10:12 - 13, Torah
[So] now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
to keep the commandments of the Lord, and His statutes, which I command you this day for your good?

Deuteronomy 11:1, Torah
Therefore you will love the Lord your God, and keep His charge, and His statutes, and His judgements, and His commandments, always.

Mark 12:30, Gospel
[And so remember when the prophet Jesus arose, he said,] "You will love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength,' this [is] the first commandment."

3:31 - 32, Qur'an
[So] say [likewise, O prophet Muhammad], "If you should love God, then follow me, [so] God will love you and forgive you your sins. And God is Forgiving and Merciful."
Say, "Obey God and the messenger." But if they turn away - then indeed, God does not love the disbelievers.

God does Not Love the Wrongdoers, for He Hates All Abomination

So Abhor that which is Evil; Cleave to that which is Good, for God Loves the Doers of Good

Psalms 5:4, Torah
You [are] not a God that has pleasure in wickedness, neither will evil dwell with You -

Proverbs 15:9, Torah
[For] the way of the wicked [is] an abomination to the Lord, but He loves him who follows after righteousness.

Psalms 11:7, Torah
For the righteous Lord loves righteousness; His Countenance beholds the upright -

3:134, Qur'an
[The ones] who spend [in the cause of God] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and God loves the doers of good;

3:57, Qur'an
[And thus,] for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards, and God does not love the wrongdoers.

[Sirach 12:6], Torah
[Rather,] the Most High hates sinners, and will repay vengeance to the ungodly and keep them against the Mighty Day of their punishment.

23:108, Qur'an
[And] He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me."

Psalms 5:5 - 6, Torah
[For] the foolish will not stand in Your sight, You hate all workers of iniquity.
You will destroy those who speak deceit, the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

4:107, Qur'an
[So] do not argue on behalf of those who deceive themselves. Indeed, God does not love one who is a habitually sinful deceiver.

[Sirach 15:13], Torah
[For] the Lord hates all abomination; and those who fear God do not love it.

Romans 12:9, Gospel
[So let] love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

Psalms 119:163 - 164, Torah
[And thus,] I hate and abhor lying, [but] I love Your law.
I praise You seven times a day because of Your righteous judgements.

God Himself is the Judge, and He is the Most Just of Judges

Thus there is No Judge Above God, and so those they Invoke Besides Him do Not Judge with Anything

40:19 - 20, Qur'an
[God] knows the deception of the eyes and what the breasts conceal.
And God judges with truth, while those they invoke besides Him do not judge with anything.  Indeed, God - He is the Hearing, the Seeing.

40:16, Qur'an
[And thus] the Day they come forth, nothing concerning them will be concealed from God.  To whom belongs the kingdom this Day?  To God, the One, the Prevailing.

[2 Ezra 7:33 - 34], Torah
And [so] the Most High will appear upon the Throne of Judgement, and misery will pass away, and the long suffering will have an end;
but only judgement will remain, truth will stand, and faith will wax strong.

39:75, Qur'an
And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne, exalting [God] with praise of their Lord.  And it will be judged between them in truth, and it will be said, "[All] praise to God, Lord of the worlds."

Revelation 14:7, Gospel
[And thus you will see an angel] saying with a loud voice, "Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the Hour of His Judgement has come, and prostrate to Him who made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters."

Revelation 16:5, Gospel
And [so] I heard the angel of the waters say, "You are righteous, O Lord, who is, and was, and should be, because You have judged thus."

Revelation 16:7, Gospel
And I heard another out of the altar say, "Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous [are] Your judgements."

Psalms 50:6, Torah
[And even] the heavens will declare His righteousness, for God [is] judge Himself.

39:69, Qur'an
And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the record [of deeds] will be placed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought, and it will be judged between them in truth, and they will not be wronged -

28:84, Qur'an
[For] whoever comes [on the Day of Judgement] with good will have better than it; and whoever comes with evil - then those who did evil deeds will not be recompensed except [as much as] what they used to do.

95:8, Qur'an
[So] is God not the most just of judges?

[2 Ezra 7:19], Torah
And [thus] he said to me, "There is no judge above God, and none who have understanding above the Highest."

28:88, Qur'an
[So] do not invoke with God another god.  There is no god except Him.  Everything will be destroyed except His Face.  His is the judgement, and to Him you will be returned.

No Bearer of Burdens will Bear the Burden of Another; Rather, Every Man will Bear his Own Burden

And he will Have Rejoicing in himself Alone and Not in Another, for God will Reward According to his Deeds

29:12, Qur'an
Those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Follow our way, and we will carry your sins."  But they will not carry anything of their sins.  Indeed, they are liars -

3:69, Qur'an
[For] a faction of the people of the Scripture wish they could mislead you.  But they do not mislead except themselves, and they do not perceive.

Galatians 6:7, Gospel
[So] do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man sows, that will he also reap.

4:111, Qur'an
[Thus] whoever commits a sin only earns it against himself.  And God is ever Knowing and Wise.

Ezekiel 18:20, Torah
[And thus] the soul that sins, it will die.  The son will not bear the iniquity of the father, neither will the father bear the iniquity of the son, the righteousness of the righteous will be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon him.

Colossians 3:25, Gospel
[For] he who does wrong will receive for the wrong which he has done, and there is no partiality.

17:15, Qur'an
[Thus] whoever is guided is only guided for his soul.  And whoever errs only errs against it.  And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another.

Galatians 6:4 - 5, Gospel
But [rather,] let every man prove his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
For every man will bear his own burden.

53:36 - 41, Qur'an
Or has he not been informed of what was in the Scriptures of Moses
and [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - that no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another?  And that there is not for man except that for which he strives and that his effort is going to be seen - then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense.

Romans 2:5 - 6, Gospel
But after your hardness and impenitent heart, you treasure up to yourself wrath against the Day of Wrath, and revelation of the righteous Judgement of God,
who will render to every man according to his deeds.

[Sirach 11:26], Torah
For it is an easy thing to the Lord in the day of death to reward a man according to his ways.

Ecclesiastes 12:14, Torah
For God will bring every work into Judgement, with every secret thing, whether [it is] good, or whether [it is] evil.

1 Corinthians 3:13, Gospel
[And thus] every man's work will be made manifest, for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will try every man's work of what sort it is -

18:49, Qur'an
[Whereby] the record [of deeds] will be placed [open], and you will see the criminals fearful of that within it, and they will say, "Oh, woe to us!  What is this Book that leaves nothing small or great except that it has enumerated it?"  And they will find what they did present [before them].  And your Lord does injustice to no one.

Revelation 20:12, Gospel
And [thus] I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the Books were opened, and another Book was opened, which is [the Book] of Life, and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the Books, according to their works.

The Weighing of Deeds on the Day of Judgement will be the Truth

As for those who Disbelieved, He will Render their Deeds Worthless for what Injustice they were doing to Our Verses, but those who Repent, He will Replace their Evil with Good

11:111, Qur'an
Indeed, each - your Lord will fully compensate them for their deeds. Indeed, He is Acquainted with what they do -

99:7 - 8, Qur'an
So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it,
and whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it -

6:160, Qur'an
[Whereby] whoever comes [on the Day of Judgement] with a good deed will have ten times the like thereof [added to his scale], and whoever comes with an evil deed will not be recompensed except the like thereof; and they will not be wronged -

21:47, Qur'an
[For] We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be treated unjustly at all. And if there is [even] the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant.

101:6 - 9, Qur'an
Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds],
he will be in a pleasant life. But as for one whose scales are light, his refuge will be an abyss -

47:28, Qur'an
That is because they followed what angered God and disliked [what earns] His pleasure, so He rendered their deeds worthless.

14:18, Qur'an
[And thus] the example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is [that] their deeds are like ashes which the wind blows forcefully on a stormy day; they are unable [to keep] from what they earned a [single] thing. That is what is extreme error -

Psalms 14:1, Torah
[And thus,] the fool has said in his heart, "[There is] no God." They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, [there are] none who do good.

18:103 - 105, Qur'an
[So] say, "Shall we [believers] inform you of the greatest in loss as to [their] deeds?
[They are] those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work." Those are the ones who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord and in [their] meeting Him, so their deeds have become worthless; and We will not assign to [their deeds] on the Day of Resurrection any weight.

20:112, Qur'an
[But as for] he who does righteous deeds while he is a believer - he will neither fear injustice nor deprivation.

7:8 - 9, Qur'an
[For] the weighing [of deeds] that Day will be the truth. So those whose scales are heavy - it is they who will be the successful.
And those whose scales are light - they are the ones who will lose themselves for what injustice they were doing toward Our verses.

25:70, Qur'an
Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them God will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is God Forgiving and Merciful.

29:7, Qur'an
And [as for] those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will surely remove from them their misdeeds and will surely reward them according to the best of what they used to do.

18:30, Qur'an
[So] indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - indeed, We will not allow to be lost the reward of any who did well in deeds.

Every Knee will Bow to God, then Every One of us will Give Account of himself to God

Then We will Save those who Feared God and Leave the Wrongdoers within Hell, on their Knees

*Isaiah 45:22 - 23, Torah
Look to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth, for I [am] God, and [there are] none else.
I have sworn by Myself, the word has gone out of My mouth [in] righteousness, and will not return, 'That to Me, every knee will bow, every tongue will swear.'"

19:68, Qur'an
So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees.

*Romans 14:11 - 12, Gospel
[For] it is written, "[As] I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow to Me, and every tongue will confess to God."
So then every one of us will give account of himself to God -

17:14, Qur'an
[Whereby it will be said,] "Read your record.  Sufficient is yourself against you this Day as accountant."

[Book of Enoch 97:6], Torah
And [so] the words of your iniquity will be read out before the great and Holy One, and your faces will blush with shame, and every deed which is founded upon iniquity will be rejected.

45:28 - 29, Qur'an
And [thus] you will see every nation kneeling [from fear].  Every nation will be called to its record [and told], "Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do.
This, Our record, speaks about you in truth.  Indeed, We were having transcribed whatever you used to do."

19:69 - 72, Qur'an
Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Gracious in insolence.
Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein.  And there is none of you except he will come to [Hell upon his knees].  This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed.  Then We will save those who feared God and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees.

Isaiah 44:8, Torah
"[But] do not fear, neither be afraid, have I not told you from that time, and have declared [it]?  You [are] even My witnesses.  Is there a god beside Me?  Indeed, [there is] no god; I do not know [any].

Isaiah 45:20 - 21, Torah
[So] assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you [who have] escaped of the nations, they have no knowledge who set up the wood [cross] of their graven image, and pray to a god [that] cannot save.
Tell [them] and bring [them] near; let them take counsel together, who has declared this from ancient time?  [Who] has told it from that time?  [Have] not I, the Lord?  And [there is] no god beside Me; a just God and a Savior; [there are] none beside Me."

Fear God that you Might Receive Mercy

Know that God is Severe in Penalty, and that God is Forgiving and Merciful

5:98, Qur'an
Know that God is severe in penalty and that God is Forgiving and Merciful.

Romans 11:22, Gospel
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God, on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in [His] goodness, otherwise you will also be cut off.

Acts 10:35, Gospel
[Thus] in every nation, he who fears Him, and works righteousness, is accepted with Him.

Proverbs 19:23, Torah
[For] the fear of the Lord [tends] to life, and [he who has it] will abide satisfied; he will not be visited with evil.

Psalms 34:7, Torah
[For] the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them.

Luke 12:4 - 5, Gospel
"[So] I say to you my friends, 'Do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.'
But I will forewarn you whom you will fear, 'Fear Him, which after He has killed has power to cast into Hell;' I say to you, 'Fear Him.'"

74:53 - 56, Qur'an
[But] no!  They do not fear the Hereafter.
No!  Indeed, [the Qur'an] is a reminder.  Then whoever wills will remember it.  And they will not remember except that God wills.  He is worthy of fear and adequate for forgiveness.

6:155, Qur'an
[So] this [Qur'an] is a Book We have revealed [which is] blessed, so follow it and fear God that you may receive mercy.

Psalms 103:11, Torah
[For] as the heaven is high above the earth, [so] is His mercy great toward those who fear Him.

76:31, Qur'an
[And thus] He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment.

Romans 9:18 - 20, Gospel
Therefore He has mercy on whom He will [have mercy], and whom He is willing, He hardens.
Will you then say to me, "Why does He find fault?  For who has resisted His will?"  No but, O man, who are you who replies against God?  Should the thing formed say to Him who formed [it], "Why have you made me thus?"

4:131, Qur'an
[No, for] to God belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And We have instructed those who were given the Scripture before you and yourselves to fear God.  But if you disbelieve - then to God belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.  And ever is God Free of need and Praiseworthy.

Ecclesiastes 12:13, Torah
[So] let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter - fear God, and keep His commandments, for this [is] the whole [duty] of man.

7:63, Qur'an
Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you and that you may fear God so you might receive mercy?

God's Punishment is the Painful Punishment - the Greatest Afflictions as a Warning to Man

But what would God do with your Punishment if you Believe?  For There is One who is Able to Save and Destroy

Luke 13:28, Gospel
There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you will see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, [but] you [yourselves] thrust out.

James 5:1 - 3, Gospel
[So] go now, you rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that will come upon you.
Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten.  Your gold and silver are cankered; and their rust will be a witness against you, and will eat your flesh as it were fire.  You have heaped treasure together for the Last Days.

Luke 16:23 - 24, Gospel
[So] in Hell [the rich man] lifts up his eyes, being in torments, and sees Abraham afar off, and Lazarus [the beggar] in his bosom.
And he cries and says, "Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame."

7:50, Qur'an
And [thus] the companions of the Fire will call to the companions of the Garden, "Pour upon us some water or from whatever God has provided you."  They will say, "Indeed, God has forbidden them both to the disbelievers."

56:45 - 46, Qur'an
[For] indeed they were, before that, indulging in affluence,
and they used to persist in the great violation,

78:24 - 25, Qur'an
[And thus] they will not taste therein [any] coolness or drink
except scalding water and [foul] purulence -

44:49 - 50, Qur'an
[It will be said], "Taste!  Indeed, you are the mighty, the noble!
Indeed, this is what you used to dispute."

22:21 - 22, Qur'an
And for [striking] them are maces of iron.
Every time they want to get out of [Hellfire] from anguish, they will be returned to it, and [it will be said], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire!"

Malachi 4:1, Torah
[So] behold, the Day comes that will burn as an oven; and all the proud, and all who do wickedly, will be stubble, and the Day that comes will burn them up, the Lord of hosts says, that it will leave them neither root or branch -

Matthew 13:42, Gospel
[For the angels] will cast them into a furnace of Fire, there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

25:13 - 14, Qur'an
And when they are thrown into a narrow place therein bound in chains, they will cry out thereupon for destruction.
[They will be told], "Do not cry this Day for one destruction but cry for much destruction."

39:16, Qur'an
[For] they will have canopies of fire above them and below them, canopies.  By that God threatens His servants.  [So] O My servants, then fear Me -

74:35 - 37, Qur'an
[For] indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions]
as a warning to humanity - to whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind.

15:49 - 50, Qur'an
[So] inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful.
And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment.

James 4:12, Gospel
[Thus] there is One lawgiver who is able to save and to destroy, who are you who judges another?

[Shepherd of Hermas 49:3], Gospel
[So] hear me therefore, and fear Him, who is able to do all things, to save and to destroy, and observe these commandments, and you will live to God.

4:147, Qur'an
[For] what would God do with your punishment if you are grateful and believe?  And ever is God Appreciative and Knowing.

God will Forgive you your Sins, for it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful

But do Not Persist in what you have Done while you Know

Psalms 86:5, Torah
You, Lord, [are] good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy to all those who call upon You.

39:53, Qur'an
[So] say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of God.  Indeed, God forgives all sins.  Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

42:25, Qur'an
[Thus] it is He who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons misdeeds, and He knows what you do.

25:70 - 71, Qur'an
[So] for those who repent, believe and do righteous work - for them God will replace their evil with good.  And ever is God Forgiving and Merciful.
And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to God with [accepted] repentance.

4:18, Qur'an
[But] repentance is not [accepted] of those who [continue to] do evil deeds up until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "Indeed, I have repented now," or of those who die while they are disbelievers.  For them We have prepared a painful punishment.

7:153,  Qur'an
But those who committed misdeeds and then repented after them and believed - indeed your Lord, thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful -

3:135 - 136, Qur'an
[They are] those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember God and seek forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive sins except God? - and [who] do not persist in what they have done while they know.
Those - their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow [in Paradise], wherein they will abide eternally; and excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers.

Let those Among you Pardon and Overlook

Would you Not Like that God should Forgive you?

24:22, Qur'an
Do not let those who possess bounty among you and abundance swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of God, and let them pardon and overlook.  Would you not like that God should forgive you?  And God is Forgiving and Merciful.

Luke 6:36 - 37, Gospel
"Therefore, be merciful, as your [Creator] is also Merciful.
Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven."

[Sirach 28:2 - 4], Torah
[So] forgive your neighbor the hurt that he has done to you, so your sins will also be forgiven when you pray.
One man bears hatred against another, and does he seek pardon from the Lord?  He shows no mercy to a man, who is like himself; and does he ask forgiveness of his own sins?

3:133 - 134, Qur'an
[So] hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for those who fear [God],
who spend [in the cause of God] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and God loves the doers of good -

42:37, Qur'an
Those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, and when they are angry, they forgive.

45:14, Qur'an
[So] say to those who have believed that they [should] forgive those who do not expect the days of God so that He may recompense a people for what they used to earn.

Matthew 6:12 - 13, Gospel
[So say,] "Forgive us our debts [O God], as we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever."

Ask Forgiveness for your Sin and for the Believing Men and Believing Women

But it is Not for those who have Believed to Ask Forgiveness for those who Associate Others with God

9:113 - 114, Qur'an
It is not for the prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for those who associate others [with God], even if they were relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are companions of Hellfire.
And the request of forgiveness of Abraham for his father was only because of a promise he had made to him. But when it became apparent to Abraham that his father was an enemy to God, he disassociated himself from him. Indeed was Abraham compassionate and patient -

19:42, Qur'an
When he said to his father, "O my father, why do you serve that which does not hear and does not see and will not benefit you at all?"

19:46, Qur'an
[His father] said, "Do you have no desire for my gods, O Abraham? If you do not desist, I will surely stone you, so avoid me a prolonged time."

19:47 - 48, Qur'an
[Abraham] said, "Peace will be upon you. I will ask forgiveness for you of my Lord. Indeed, He is ever gracious to me.
And I will leave you and those you invoke other than God and I will invoke my Lord. Perhaps I will not be in invocation to my Lord unhappy.

14:40 - 41, Qur'an
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established."

71:28, Qur'an
[And remember when Noah said,] "My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction."

7:151, Qur'an
[And remember when Moses] said, "My Lord, forgive me and my brother and admit us into Your mercy, for You are the most merciful of the merciful."

Genesis 50:15, Torah
And [remember] when Joseph's brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, "Joseph will perhaps hate us, and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did to him."

12:92 - 93, Qur'an
[But Joseph] said, "No blame will there be upon you today. God will forgive you; and He is the Most Merciful of the merciful.
Take this, my shirt, and cast it over the face of my father; he will become seeing. And bring me your family, all together."

12:97, Qur'an
They said, "O our father, ask for us forgiveness of our sins; indeed, we have been sinners."

12:98, Qur'an
[So Jacob] said, "I will ask forgiveness for you from my Lord. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

59:10, Qur'an
And [remember] those who came after them, saying, "Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and do not put in our hearts resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful."

63:5 - 6, Qur'an
[But] when it is said to them, "Come, the messenger of God will ask forgiveness for you," they turn their heads aside and you see them evading while they are arrogant.
It is all the same for them whether you ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness for them; never will God forgive them. Indeed, God does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.

9:80, Qur'an
[So] ask forgiveness for them, or do not ask forgiveness for them. If you should ask forgiveness for them seventy times - never will God forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in God and His messenger, and God does not guide the defiantly disobedient people -

4:63 - 64, Qur'an
Those are the ones of whom God knows what is in their hearts, so turn away from them but admonish them and speak to them a far-reaching word.
[For] We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of God. And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, and asked forgiveness of God and the messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found God Accepting of repentance and Merciful.

47:19, Qur'an
So know that there is no god except God and ask forgiveness for your sin and for the believing men and believing women. And God knows of your movement and your resting place.

God is Not a Man, that He Should Repent, for
He is Not Ever Unjust to His Servants

Rather, Satan Threw Misunderstanding into it - Saying, "It Repented the Lord that He had Made Man on the Earth"

22:52, Qur'an
We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he spoke [or recited], Satan threw into it [some misunderstanding] -

Genesis 6:5 - 7, Torah
[For remember when] God saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] continually only evil.
And it repented the Lord that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart.  And the Lord said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repents Me that I have made them."

Numbers 23:19, Torah
[But] God [is] not a man, that He should lie; neither the Son of man, that He should repent, has He said, and He will not do [it]?  Or has He spoken, and He will not make it good?

22:52, Qur'an
[Thus] God abolishes that which Satan throws in; then God makes precise His verses.  And God is Knowing and Wise.

Zechariah 8:14, Torah
[And] thus the Lord of hosts says; "As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked Me to wrath, the Lord of hosts says, and I did not repent."

8:51, Qur'an
[For] that is for what your hands have put forth [of evil] and because God is not ever unjust to His servants.

Deuteronomy 32:4, Torah
[For He is] the Rock, His work [is] perfect, for all His ways [are] judgement, a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right [is] He.

4:40, Qur'an
[So] indeed, God does not do injustice, [even] as much as an atom's weight; while if there is a good deed, He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward.

21:23, Qur'an
[And] He is not questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned.

[Wisdom of Solomon 12:12 - 13], Torah
For who will say, "What have You done?  Or who will withstand Your judgement? Or who will accuse You for the nations that perish, whom You made?  Or who will come to stand against You, to be revenged for the unrighteous men?"
For neither is there any god but You, who cares for all, to whom You might show that Your judgement is not unright.

Psalms 135:6, Torah
[So] whatever the Lord pleased, [that] He did in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

Ezekiel 24:14, Torah
"[And thus] I the Lord have spoken [it], it will come to pass, and I will do [it]; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to your ways, and according to your doings, they will judge you," the Lord God says.

1 Samuel 15:29, Torah
And [thus] the Strength of Israel will not lie or repent, for He [is] not a man, that He should repent.

God is the Savior of those who Believed, but the Disbelievers have No Savior

So How Many a City did We Destroy while it was Committing Wrong so it is Now Fallen into Ruin?

47:10 - 11, Qur'an
Have they not traveled through the land and seen how was the end of those before them?  God destroyed [everything] over them, and for the disbelievers is something comparable.
That is because God is the Savior of those who have believed and because the disbelievers have no savior.

Psalms 145:20, Torah
[For] the Lord preserves all those who love Him, but He will destroy all the wicked.

22:45, Qur'an
[And so] how many a city did We destroy while it was committing wrong - so it is [now] fallen into ruin - and [how many] an abandoned well and [how many] a lofty palace?

Jude 1:5, Gospel
I will therefore put you in remembrance, though you once knew this, how the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.

2 Peter 2:5, Gospel
And [God] did not spare the old world, but saved Noah, the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly.

54:11 - 16, Qur'an
[Whereby] We opened the gates of the heaven with water pouring down
and caused the earth to burst with springs, and the waters met for a matter already predestined.  And We carried him on a [construction of] planks and nails, sailing under Our eyes as reward for he who had been denied.  And We left it as a sign, so are there any who will remember?  And how [severe] were My punishment and warning.

54:32 - 33, Qur'an
And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so are there any who will remember?
[For] the people of Lot [also] denied the warning.

Luke 17:29, Gospel
[And thus] the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all.

2 Peter 2:6 - 7, Gospel
[Thus,] turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, [He] condemned [them] with an overthrow, making [them] an example to those who after should live ungodly.
[But He] delivered the just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked.

29:40, Qur'an
So each We seized for his sin; and among them were those upon whom We sent a storm of stones, and among them were those who were seized by the blast [from the heaven], and among them were those whom We caused the earth to swallow, and among them were those whom We drowned.  And God would not have wronged them, but it was they who were wronging themselves -

Job 34:25 - 27, Torah
[For] He knows their works, and He overturns [them] in the night, so that they are destroyed.
He strikes them as wicked men in the open sight of others; because they turned back from Him, and would not consider any of His ways.

Psalms 37:38 - 40, Torah
[And thus] the transgressors will be destroyed together, the end of the wicked will be cut off.
But the salvation of the righteous [is] of the Lord, [He is] their strength in the time of trouble.  And the Lord will help them, and deliver them, He will deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him.

10:103, Qur'an
[Thus] We will save Our messengers and those who have believed.  Thus, it is an obligation upon Us that We save the believers.

1 Chronicles 16:22, Torah
[For God said,] "Do not touch My anointed [ones], and do My prophets no harm."

3:150, Qur'an
[Thus] God is your Savior, and He is the best of helpers.

See the Last Day for the pattern of the messengers

For them Besides Him will be No Savior and No Intercessor

But there are None from the People of the Scripture but that he will Believe in Jesus as Savior

[Sirach 24:24], Torah
Do not faint to be strong in the Lord; that He may confirm you, cleave to Him; for the Lord Almighty is God alone, and beside Him there is no other savior.

39:3, Qur'an
[Thus,] unquestionably, for God is the pure religion.  And those who take saviors besides Him [say], "We only serve them that they may bring us nearer to God in position."  Indeed, God will judge between them concerning that over which they differ.  Indeed, God does not guide he who is a liar and [confirmed] disbeliever -

10:18, Qur'an
[For] they serve other than God that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say, "These are our intercessors with God."  Say, "Do you inform God of something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth?"  Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.

28:74 - 75, Qur'an
[So warn of] the Day He will call them and say, "Where are my 'partners' which you used to claim?"
And We will extract from every nation a witness and say, "Produce your proof," and they will know that the truth belongs to God, and lost from them is that which they used to invent.

30:12 - 13, Qur'an
And [so] the Day the Hour is established, the criminals will be in despair.
And there will not be for them among their [alleged] partners any intercessors, and they will [then] be disbelievers in their partners.

4:159, Qur'an
[But] there is none from the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in Jesus [as Lord and Savior] before his death.  And on the Day of Resurrection he will be against them a witness.

Matthew 7:22 - 23, Gospel
[For Jesus said,] "Many will say to me in that Day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name [O Jesus, my Lord and Savior]?  And in your name [O Lord Jesus] we have cast out devils?  And in your name [O Lord Jesus] done many wonderful works?'
And then I will profess to them, 'I never knew you, depart from me, you who work iniquity.'"

35:14, Qur'an
[Thus] if you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they heard, they would not respond to you.  And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association.  And none can inform you like [One] Aware [of all matters].

Luke 13:26 - 27, Gospel
[But] then you will begin to say, "We have eaten and drunk in your presence, and you have taught in our streets."
But [Jesus] will say, "I tell you, I do not know from where you are, depart from me, workers of iniquity."

Psalms 53:4, Torah
[So] do the workers of iniquity have no knowledge?  Who eats up my people [as] they eat bread, they have not called upon God.

Isaiah 43:11 - 12, Torah
[For] I, [even] I, [am] the Lord; and beside Me [there is] no savior.
I have declared, and have saved, and I have shown, when [there was] no strange [god] among you, therefore you [are] My witnesses," the Lord says, "That I [am] God.

Isaiah 45:22, Torah
[So] look to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth, for I [am] God, and [there are] none else."

18:52 - 53, Qur'an
[So warn of] the Day when He will say, "Call 'My partners' whom you claimed," and they will invoke them, but they will not respond to them.  And We will put between them [a valley of] destruction.
And the criminals will see the Fire and will be certain that they are to fall therein.  And they will not find from it a way elsewhere.

Deuteronomy 32:37 - 39, Torah
And He will say, "Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted,
which ate the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings?  Let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.  See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with Me, I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal, neither are there any that can deliver out of My hand."

18:100 - 102, Qur'an
[So] We will present Hell that Day to the disbelievers, its width -
those whose eyes had been within a cover [removed] from My remembrance, and they were not able to hear.  Then do those who disbelieve think that they can take My servants instead of Me as protectors?  Indeed, We have prepared Hell for the disbelievers as a lodging.

6:51, Qur'an
[So] warn by the Qur'an those who fear that they will be gathered before their Lord - for them besides Him will be no savior and no intercessor - that they might become righteous.

6:126 - 127, Qur'an
[For] this is the path of your Lord, [leading] straight.  We have detailed the verses for a people who remember.
For them will be the Home of Peace with their Lord.  And He will be their protecting friend because of what they used to do.

God will Protect them from the Punishment of Hellfire

And Thus it will be Said that Day, "This is our God, He will Save us, and we will Rejoice in His Salvation"

61:10 - 11, Qur'an
[So] O you who have believed, shall I guide you to a transaction that will save you from a painful punishment?
[It is that] you believe in God and His messenger and strive in the cause of God with your wealth and your lives. That is best for you, if you should know. He will forgive for you your sins and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow and pleasant dwellings in Gardens of Eden. That is the great success -

76:11, Qur'an
[For] God will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness.

10:62 - 64, Qur'an
[Thus,] unquestionably, [for] the allies of God there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
Those who believed and were fearing God, for them is good news in the worldly life and in the Hereafter.  No change is there in the words of God.  That is what is the great success -

Isaiah 25:9, Torah
[And thus,] it will be said in that Day, "Behold, this [is] our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us, this [is] the Lord; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation."

52:26 - 28, Qur'an
[And] they will say, "Indeed, we were previously among our people fearful [of God].
So God conferred favor upon us and protected us from the punishment of the Scorching Fire. Indeed, we used to supplicate Him before. Indeed, it is He who is the Beneficent, the Merciful."

21:101 - 103, Qur'an
[So] indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us - they are from [Hell] far removed.
They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally. They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will receive them, [saying], "This is your Day which you have been promised -

40:8 - 9, Qur'an
[So] Lord, admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is You who is the Almighty, the Wise.
And protect them from the evil consequences [of their deeds]. And he whom You protect from evil consequences that Day - You will have given him mercy. And that is the great success."

52:17 - 18, Qur'an
[So] indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and pleasure,
enjoying what their Lord has given them, and their Lord protected them from the punishment of Hellfire.

44:56 - 57, Qur'an
They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire
as bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great success.
