But they wonder that a warner has come to them from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing.
50:3
When we have died and become dust, [we will return to life]? *John 3:3 - 4 That is a distant return."

We know what the earth diminishes of them, and there is a guarded Book with Us.
50:5
But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition.
50:6
Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts?
50:7
And the earth - We spread it out *Isaiah 42:5, *Isaiah 44:24 and cast firmly set [mountains] therein and made [something] of every beautiful pair grow therein,
50:8
Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to God].
50:9
And We have sent down blessed water from the heaven and made gardens grow thereby and grain from the harvest
50:10
And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers -
50:11
As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the Resurrection.
50:12
The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud
50:13
And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot
50:14
And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubba'. All denied the messengers, so My threat came true.
50:15
Were We then tired in the first creation? *Genesis 2:2, *Psalms 121:3 - 4, *Isaiah 40:28, *Hebrews 4:4 But they are in confusion over a new creation.
50:16
And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein
50:17
When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left.
50:18
Man does not utter any word except that an observer is with him prepared [to record].
50:19
And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid.
50:20
And the Trumpet will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the Threat.
50:21
And every soul will come with a driver and a witness.
50:22
[God will say], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed your cover from you, so your sight is sharp this Day."
50:23
And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is prepared with me."
50:24
[God will say], "Throw every obstinate disbeliever into Gehenna,
50:25
Preventer of good, aggressor, and doubter,
50:26
Who made another god [as equal] with God; then throw him into the severe punishment."
50:27
His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error."
50:28
[God] will say, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented the warning to you.
50:29
The word will not be changed with Me, and I will never be unjust to the servants."
50:30
On the Day We will say to Gehenna, "Have you been filled?" and it will say, "Are there some more?"
50:31
And the Garden will be brought near to those who fear [God], not far,
50:32
[It will be said], "This is what you were promised - for every returner [to God] and keeper [of His covenant]
50:33
Who feared the Most Gracious unseen and came with a heart returning [in repentance].
50:34
Enter it in peace. This is the Day of Eternity."
50:35
They will have whatever they will [or wish] therein, and there is more with Us.
50:36
And how many generations did We destroy before them who were greater than them in [striking] power and had explored throughout the lands? Is there any place of escape?
50:37
Indeed, there is a reminder in that for whoever has a heart or who listens while he is present [in mind].

And We certainly created the heavens and earth and what is between them in six days, *Genesis 1:31 - 2:1 and no weariness touched Us. *Psalms 121:3 - 4, *Isaiah 40:28

So be patient over what they say and exalt [God] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting, *Psalms 113:3

And exalt Him [in part] of the night *Psalms 92:1 - 2, *Psalms 119:55, *Luke 6:12 and after prostration.

And listen on the Day when the Caller will call out from a place that is near -

The Day they will hear the blast [of the Trumpet] in truth. *Matthew 24:31 That is the Day of Emergence [from the graves].

Indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, *Deuteronomy 32:39, *1 Samuel 2:6, *Wisdom of Solomon 16:13, *4 Maccabees 18:19 and the destination is to Us

On the Day the earth breaks away from them [and they emerge] rapidly; that is an easy gathering for Us.
