Psalms 59:17, Torah
I will sing to You, O my strength, for God [is] my defense, [and] the God of my mercy.

These are the Words which Must be Fulfilled in the Prophets Concerning me - I Gave my Cheeks to Smitings, for the Lord God will Help me

Or does God have No Power to Deliver? Let him Trust in the Name of the Lord, and Stay upon his God, for All you who Kindle a Fire will Lie Down in Sorrow

Isaiah 50

Isaiah 50:2 - 3, Torah
[God said,] "Therefore, when I came, [was there] no man?  When I called, [were there] none to answer?  Is My hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem?  Or do I have no power to deliver?  Behold, I dry up the sea at My rebuke, I make the rivers a wilderness, their fish stink, because [there is] no water, and die for thirst.
I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering."

Isaiah 50:4 - 5, Torah
The Lord God has given me the tongue of the learned, so that I should know how to speak a word in season to [him who is] weary, He wakens morning by morning, He wakens my ear to hear as the learned.
The Lord God has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, neither did I turn back away.

*Isaiah 50:6, Torah
[For] I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to those who plucked off the hair, I did not hide my face from shame and spitting.

Mark 14:65, Gospel
And [thus] some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say to him, "Prophesy," and the servants struck him with the palms of their hands.

[*Epistle of Barnabas 5:14], Gospel
[So] again he says; "Behold I have given my back to stripes, and my cheeks to smitings, and I set my face as a hard rock."

*Isaiah 50:7 - 9, Torah
For the Lord God will help me; therefore I will not be confounded, therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I will not be ashamed.
[For He is] near who justifies me; who will contend with me?  Let us stand together, who [is] my adversary?  Let him come near me.  Behold, the Lord God will help me; who [is] he [who] will condemn me?  Look, they will all become old as a garment; the moth will eat them up.

[*Epistle of Barnabas 6:1 - 2], Gospel
[So] when he then gave the commandment, what did he say?  "Who is he who disputes with me?  Let him oppose me."  Or, "Who is he who goes to law with me?  Let him draw near to the servant of the Lord [God],
woe to you, for you will all become old as a garment, and the moth will consume you."

Isaiah 50:10, Torah
[Then] who [is] among you who fears the Lord, who obeys the voice of His servant, who walks [in] darkness, and has no light?  Let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.

Isaiah 50:11, Torah
[For] behold, all you who kindle a fire, who encompass [yourselves] about with sparks, walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks [that] you have kindled. You will have this at my hand; you will lie down in sorrow
.

Luke 24:44, Gospel
[And thus, Jesus] said to them, "These [are] the words which I spoke to you, while I was with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and [in] the prophets, and [in] the Psalms, concerning me."

The Meek will Inherit the Earth, for the Salvation of the Righteous is of God, He is their Strength in the Time of Trouble

But the Transgressors will be Destroyed Together, for the Wicked Seek to Slay the Righteous, but the Lord will Not Leave him in his Hand, the Lord will Deliver them from the Wicked, and Save them

Psalms 37

Psalms 37:1 - 2, Torah
Do not fret yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious against the workers of iniquity.
For they will soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

Psalms 37:3 - 5, Torah
[So] trust in the Lord, and do good; [so] you will dwell in the land, and verily you will be fed.
Delight yourself also in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in Him; and He will bring [it] to pass.

Psalms 37:6 - 7, Torah
And He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgement as the noonday.
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him, do not fret yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

Psalms 37:10, Torah
For still a little while, and the wicked [will] not [be], you will diligently consider his place, and it [will] not [be].

*Psalms 37:11, Torah
But the meek will inherit the earth; and will delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Psalms 37:18, Torah
[For] the Lord knows the days of the upright, and their inheritance will be forever.

*Matthew 5:5, Gospel
[And so] blessed [are] the meek, for they will inherit the earth -

*39:74, Qur'an
And they will say, "Praise [belongs] to God, who has fulfilled His promise for us and made us [meek] inherit the earth [so that] we may settle in the Garden wherever we will. And the reward of [righteous] workers is excellent."

Psalms 37:22 - 24, Torah
[And thus those who are] blessed by Him will inherit the earth; and [those who are] cursed by Him will be cut off.
The steps of a [good] man are ordered by the Lord, and he delights in His way.  Though he falls, he will not be utterly cast down, for the Lord upholds [him with] His hand.

*Psalms 37:27 - 29, Torah
[So] depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
For the Lord loves judgement, and does not forsake His benign ones; they are preserved forever, but the seed of the wicked will be cut off.  The righteous will inherit the land, and dwell therein forever.

*21:105, Qur'an
And [thus,] We have already written in the Scripture [Psalms] after the [previous] reminder, that the land is inherited by My righteous servants -

Psalms 37:30 - 31, Torah
[For] the mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgement.
The law of his God [is] in his heart; none of his steps will slide.

Psalms 37:32 - 33, Torah
[Yet] the wicked watch the righteous and seek to slay him.
[But] the Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

Psalms 37:34, Torah
[So] wait on the Lord, and keep His way, and He will exalt you to inherit the land, when the wicked are cut off, you will see [it] -

Psalms 37:38, Torah
[For] the transgressors will be destroyed together, the end of the wicked will be cut off.

Psalms 37:39 - 40, Torah
But the salvation of the righteous [is] of the Lord, [He is] their strength in the time of trouble.
And the Lord will help them, and deliver them, He will deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him.

These are the Words which Must be Fulfilled in the Psalms Concerning me - Be Pleased, O Lord, to Deliver me, Make Haste to Help me, for You have Not Required Sin Offering

But they, Like Men, have Transgressed the Covenant, so Let them be Put to Shame, those who Wish me Evil, for You are my Help and Deliverer - Make No Delay, O my God, Let those who Love Your Salvation Rejoice and be Glad

Psalms 40

Luke 24:44, Gospel
[Jesus] said to them, "These [are] the words which I spoke to you, while I was with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and [in] the prophets, and [in] the Psalms, concerning me" -

Psalms 40:1 - 2, Torah
I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry.
He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, [and] established my goings.

Psalms 40:3 - 4, Torah
And He has put a new song in my mouth, [even] praise to our God, many will see [it], and fear, and will trust in the Lord.
Blessed [is] that man who makes the Lord his trust, and does not respect the proud, nor such who turn aside to lies -

*Psalms 40:6 - 8, Torah
[For] You did not desire sacrifice and offering; You have opened my ears, You have not required sin offering and burnt offering.
Then I said, "Behold, I come, in the volume of the Book [that is] written about me, I delight to do Your will, O my God, Your law [is] within my heart.

Psalms 40:9 - 10, Torah
I have preached righteousness in the great congregation, look, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, You know.
I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation, I have not concealed Your loving kindness and Your truth from the great congregation.

*Hebrews 10:7, Gospel
[For] I said, 'Look, I come (in the volume of the Book that is written about me), to do Your will, O God.'

Psalms 40:11 - 12, Torah
[So] do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord, let Your loving kindness and Your truth continually preserve me.
For innumerable evils have encompassed me about, my iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of my head, therefore my heart fails me.

Psalms 40:13, Torah
[So] be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me, O Lord, make haste to help me."

*Hebrews 10:6, Gospel
[For] You have had no pleasure in burnt offerings and [sacrifices] for sin.

Hosea 6:6 - 7, Torah
For [God said,] "I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings."
But they, like men, have transgressed the covenant, they have dealt treacherously against Me there.

Matthew 12:7, Gospel
[And thus Jesus said,] "If you had known what [this] means, 'I will have mercy, and not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the guiltless.

Psalms 40:14 - 15, Torah
[So] let them be ashamed and confounded together, [those] who seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame, [those] who wish me evil.
Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame who say to me, 'Aha, aha.'

Psalms 40:16 - 17, Torah
Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You, let such who love Your salvation continually say, 'Let the Lord be magnified.'
But I [am] poor and needy; [yet] the Lord thinks upon me, You [are] my help and my deliverer; make no delay, O my God."

He who Sacrifices a Lamb, it is as if he Cut Off a Dog's Neck, for the Lord Said, "I do Not Delight in the Blood of Lambs"

But they have Chosen their Own Ways, and Walked in the Imagination of their Evil Heart, for they Say, "You are Redeemed with the Precious Blood of the Christ, as of a Lamb without Blemish"

[Epistle of Barnabas 2:7 - 8], Gospel
[So] He says again to them; "Did I command your fathers when they went forth from the land of Egypt to bring Me whole burnt offerings and sacrifices?
No, this was My command to them, 'Let none of you bear a grudge of evil against his neighbor in his heart, and do not love a false oath."

[Epistle of Barnabas 2:4], Gospel
For He has made [it] clear to us by all the prophets that He wants neither sacrifices or whole burnt offerings or oblations, saying at one time -

Isaiah 1:11, Torah
"To what purpose [is] the multitude of your sacrifices to Me?"  The Lord says, "I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I do not delight in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of male goats."

Jeremiah 7:21 - 24, Torah
Thus the Lord of hosts says, the God of Israel; "Put your burnt offerings to your sacrifices, and eat flesh.
For I did not speak to your fathers, nor command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices.  But I commanded them this thing, saying, 'Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people, and walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, so that it may be well to you.'  But they did not listen, nor incline their ear, but they walked in the counsels [and] in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward -

Leviticus 17:11, Torah
For [they said,] "The life of the flesh [is] in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls, for it [is] the blood [that] makes an atonement for the soul."

1 Peter 1:19, Gospel
[And now they likewise say,] "[You are redeemed] with the precious blood of the Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot."

Isaiah 66:3 - 4, Torah
[But] he who sacrifices a lamb, [it is as if] he cut off a dog's neck; he who kills an ox [it is as if] he slew a man; he who offers an oblation, [it is as if he offered] swine's blood; he who burns incense, [it is as if] he blessed an idol.  They have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.
I will also choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none answered; when I spoke, they did not hear, but they did evil before My eyes, and chose [that] in which I did not delight.

Psalms 51:16, Torah
For You do not desire sacrifice; else would I give [it], You do not delight in burnt offering.

Proverbs 21:3, Torah
To do justice and judgement [is] more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

Mark 12:33 - 34, Gospel
And to love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love [his] neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices."
And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God."

Sacrificing on Stone Altars is Only an Abomination from Satan, so Avoid it so that you may be Successful

So Instead, Eat from what God has Provided of Sacrificial Animals and Feed the Needy and the Beggar

22:34, Qur'an
We have appointed a rite [of sacrifice] for all religion so that they may remember [or mention] the name of God over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals.  For your god is one God, so submit to Him. And, give good news to the humble [before their Lord] -

16:5, Qur'an
[For] He has created the grazing livestock for you; there is warmth and [numerous] benefits in them, and you eat from them.

22:36, Qur'an
And [so] We have appointed the camels and cattle for you as among the symbols of God; therein is good for you.  So remember [or mention] the name of God over them when lined up [for sacrifice]; and when they are down on their sides, then eat from them and feed the needy and the beggar.  Thus, We have subjected them to you so that you may be grateful -

22:33, Qur'an
[For] therein are benefits for you for a specified term; then their place of sacrifice is at the Ancient House -

5:97, Qur'an
[Whereby] God has made the Ka'bah, the Forbidden House, standing for the people and the forbidden months and the sacrificial animals and the garlands [by which they are identified].  That is so you may know that God knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and that God is Knowing of all things.

26:132 - 134, Qur'an
[So] fear He who provided you with that which you know,
provided you with grazing livestock and children and gardens and springs.

6:142, Qur'an
And among the grazing livestock are carriers [of burdens] and those [too] small. [Then] eat of what God has provided for you and do not follow the footsteps of Satan.  Indeed, he is a clear enemy to you.

5:90, Qur'an
[So] O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, divining arrows, and [sacrificing on] stone altars are only abominations from the work of Satan, so avoid them so that you may be successful.

They Sacrificed their Sons to Devils, and Shed Innocent Blood, which I did Not Command, for We Ransomed Abraham's Son

But to Many of the Polytheists, their Partners have Made the Killing of their Children Seem Pleasing to their gods

6:137, Qur'an
To many of the polytheists, their partners have made the killing of their children [seem] pleasing in order to bring about their destruction and to cover them with confusion in their religion.  And if God had willed, they would not have done so.  So leave them and that which they invent
-

Psalms 106:35 - 38, Torah
[For they] were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
And they served their idols, which were a snare to them.  They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to devils, and shed innocent blood, [even] the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood.

Jeremiah 7:31, Torah
And they have built the high places of Tophet, which [is] in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I did not command [them], neither did it come into My heart.

Jeremiah 19:5, Torah
[And] they have also built the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire [for] burnt offerings to Baal, which I did not command, nor spoke [it], neither did [it] come into My mind.

Psalms 106:39, Torah
[Rather,] they were defiled with their own works, and went whoring with their own inventions -

Romans 8:32, Gospel
[And so now they likewise say, "God] did not spare His own son, but delivered him up for us all,"

2 Kings 17:31, Torah
[But even] the Avites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the Sepharvites burnt their children in fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim.

6:140, Qur'an
[But] those will have lost - [those] who killed their children in foolishness without knowledge and prohibited what God had provided for them, inventing [lies] about God.  They have gone astray and were not [rightly] guided.

Deuteronomy 12:31 - 32, Torah
[Thus,] you will not do so to the Lord your God, for every abomination to the Lord, which He hates, they have done to their gods; for they have even burnt their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.
Whatever thing I command you, observe to do it, you will not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

17:31, Qur'an
[So] do not kill your children for fear of poverty.  We provide for them and for you.  Indeed, their killing is a great sin.

37:107 - 109, Qur'an
And [thus,] We ransomed [Abraham's son] with a great sacrifice,
and We left [favorable remembrance] for him among later generations.  Peace upon Abraham.

Abraham Said, "O my Son, I have Seen in a Dream that I am Sacrificing you"

But When he Put him Down on his Forehead, We Ransomed his Son with a Great Sacrifice

37:100 - 101, Qur'an
[Remember when Abraham said,] "My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous."
So We gave him good news of a forbearing boy -

Genesis 16:16, Torah
[Whereby Abraham] [was] eighty six years old, when Hagar bore Ishmael to [Abraham].

37:102, Qur'an
And when he reached [the age of] working with him, [Abraham] said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you, so see what you think."  He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded.  You will find me among the patient, if God wills."

37:103, Qur'an
And [so] when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead -

37:104 - 105, Qur'an
We called to him, "O Abraham,
you have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.

Genesis 22:12, Torah
[And thus, the angel] said, "Do not lay your hand upon the lad, neither do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing that you have not withheld your son, your only [son] from Me."

Genesis 22:13, Torah
[Then] Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold, behind [him] a ram [was] caught in a thicket by his horns, and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered [the ram] up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.

37:106 - 107, Qur'an
[So] indeed, this was the clear trial.
And We ransomed [his son] with a great sacrifice.

37:111 - 112, Qur'an
[For] indeed, [Abraham] was among Our believing servants.
And We gave him good news of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous -

Genesis 21:5, Torah
[Whereby] Abraham was a hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born to him.

37:113, Qur'an
And We blessed him and Isaac.  But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself.

2:124, Qur'an
[For] when Abraham was tested by his Lord with [certain] words and he fulfilled them. [God] said, "Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people." [Abraham] said, "And among my descendants?" [God] said, "My covenant does not include the wrongdoers."

Abraham Said, "My Son, God will Provide a Lamb for Himself;" and Thus Abraham Offered a Ram in the Stead of his Son

John 1:29, Gospel
[But they say,] "Behold, [Jesus is] the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

But Abraham Fulfilled his Obligations that None will Bear the Burden of Another, for as they Led Jesus Away, they Laid the Cross on Simon, a Cyrenian, Instead

Genesis 22:7, Torah
[So remember when his son] spoke to Abraham his father, and said, "My father," and he said, "Here I [am], my son." And he said, "Behold the fire and the wood, but where [is] the lamb for a burnt offering?"

Genesis 22:8, Torah
[So] Abraham said, "My son, God will provide a lamb for Himself for a burnt offering," so they both went together.

Genesis 22:10, Torah
And [so when] Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son -

[Book of Jubilees 18:12], Torah
I said to him, "Do not lay your hand upon the lad, neither do anything to him; for now I have shown that you fear the Lord, and have not withheld your son, your firstborn son, from Me."

[Book of Jasher 23:70 - 71], Torah
And Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw, and behold, a ram was caught in a thicket by his horns; that was the ram which the Lord God had created in the earth in the day that He made earth and heaven.
For the Lord had prepared this ram from that day, to be a burnt offering instead of [Ishmael].

53:37 - 38, Qur'an
And [thus] Abraham fulfilled [his obligations]
that no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another -

Luke 23:26, Gospel
[For] as they led [Jesus] away, they [likewise] laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and they laid the cross on him [instead], so that he might bear [it] after Jesus.

4:157, Qur'an
[So We cursed them for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Christ, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of God."  And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [Simon] was made to resemble him to them.  And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it.  They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption.  And they did not kill him, for certain.

John 8:56, Gospel
[And thus Jesus said,] "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day, and he saw [it], and was glad."

6:161, Qur'an
[So] say, "Indeed, my Lord has guided me to a straight path - a correct religion - the way of Abraham, inclining toward truth.  And he was not among those who associated [others with God]."

They did Not Crucify Jesus; but Another was Made to Resemble him to them, for they Compelled Simon of Cyrene to Bear his Cross

For the Lord will Keep him Alive, You will Not Deliver him to the Will of his Enemies, for he had Prayed, Saying, "Cause me to Escape, Keep me from the Snares which they have Laid for me and Deliver me in the Time of Trouble, while I Escape Altogether"

Mark 14:35, Gospel
[So remember when Jesus] went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him,

Psalms 71:2 - 4, Torah
[Saying,] "Deliver me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape, incline Your ear to me, and save me.
Be my strong habitation, whereto I may continually resort, You have given commandment to save me; for You [are] my Rock and my Fortress.  [So] deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man -

Psalms 141:9 - 10, Torah
Keep me from the snares [which] they have laid for me, and the traps of the workers of iniquity.
Let the wicked fall into their own nets, while I escape altogether."

Psalms 91:14 - 16, Torah
[Thus God said,] "Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him, I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He will call upon Me, and I will answer him, I [will be] with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.  I will satisfy him with long life, and show him My salvation."

Matthew 27:32, Gospel
And [thus,] as [the soldiers of Pilate] came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name, they compelled him to bear [Jesus'] cross.

Luke 23:26, Gospel
And [again,] as they led [Jesus] away [to crucify him], they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and they laid the cross on him [instead], so that he might bear [it] after Jesus.

Mark 15:21, Gospel
And [again,] they compel one Simon, a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross [instead].

4:157, Qur'an
[Thus] they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [Simon] was made to resemble him to them.  And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it.  They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption.  And they did not kill him, for certain -

Psalms 41:2, Torah
[For] the Lord [God] will preserve him, and keep him alive; [and] he will be blessed upon the earth, and You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.

But Jesus Bore his Own Cross [in John], for they Exchanged the Verses of God for a Small Price

3:187, Qur'an
God took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture, [saying], "You must make it clear to the people and not conceal it."  But they threw it away behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price.  And that which they purchased is [indeed] wretched -

John 19:16 - 17, Gospel
[For John testified,] "Then he delivered him therefore to them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led [him] away.
And he, bearing his [own] cross, went forth into a place called [the place] of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha."

Luke 23:26, Gospel
[Yet Matthew, Mark, and Luke agreed in testimony that,] "As they led [Jesus] away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and they laid the cross on him [instead], so that he might bear [it] after Jesus."

4:82, Qur'an
Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an?  If it had been from [anything] other than God, they would have found much contradiction within it.

41:40, Qur'an
[So] indeed, those who inject deviation into Our verses are not concealed from Us.  So, is he who is cast into the Fire better or he who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection?  Do whatever you will; indeed, He is Seeing of what you do.

3:199, Qur'an
[But] indeed, among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in God and what was sent down to you and what was sent down to them, [being] humble to God.  They do not exchange the verses of God for a small price. Those will have their reward with their Lord.  Indeed, God is swift in account.

Beware of False Prophets, for Caiaphas the High Priest Prophesied that Jesus should Die for that Nation

But you will Know them by their Fruits - for Caiaphas Took Counsel from that Day Forth that they might Take Jesus Subtlety and Kill him, and Many Bore False Witness, but the Lord Brings the Counsel of the Heathen to Nothing

Matthew 7:15 - 16, Gospel
[Jesus said,] "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
You will know them by their fruits.  Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Luke 6:43, Gospel
For a good tree does not bring forth corrupt fruit; neither does a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Luke 18:20, Gospel
[And] you know the commandments, 'Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honor your father and your mother -'

Matthew 7:20, Gospel
Therefore you will know them by their fruits."

John 11:49 - 53, Gospel
And one of them, [named] Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said to them, "You know nothing at all,
nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation does not perish."  And he did not speak this from himself, but being high priest [of the Jews] that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; and not for that nation only, but that he should also gather the children of God together in one, who were scattered abroad.  Then from that day forth they took counsel together to put him to death -

Matthew 26:3 - 4, Gospel
[Whereby] the chief priests assembled together, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, to the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
and consulted that they might take Jesus by subtlety, and kill [him].

Luke 22:3 - 4, Gospel
Then Satan entered into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being among the number of the twelve.
And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him to them.

John 18:3, Gospel
Judas then, having received a band [of men] and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, comes there with lanterns and torches and weapons.

Matthew 26:57, Gospel
And those who had laid hold on Jesus led [him] away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.

John 18:14, Gospel
Now Caiaphas was the one who gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.

Mark 14:55 - 56, Gospel
[So] the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none.
For many bore false witness against him, but their witness did not agree together.

Matthew 26:66, Gospel
[The high priest said,] "What do you think?"  They answered and said, "He is guilty of death -

[Wisdom of Solomon 2:18 - 21], Torah
For if the just man is the son of God, He will help him, and deliver him from the hand of his enemies.
Let us examine him with spitefulness and torture, so that we may know his meekness, and test his patience. Let us condemn him with a shameful death; for by his own saying, he will be respected."  [But] they imagined such things, and were deceived; for their own wickedness has blinded them.

Matthew 27:1, Gospel
[So] when the morning had come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death.

3:54, Qur'an
[And thus these] disbelievers planned, but God planned.  And God is the best of planners -

Psalms 33:10, Torah
[For] the Lord brings the counsel of the heathen to nothing, He makes the devices of the people of none effect.

14:47, Qur'an
So never think that God will fail in His promise to His messengers. Indeed, God is Almighty and Owner of Retribution.

They Said, "Crucify Jesus, Crucify him," for Every Nation Intended a Plot to Seize their Messenger, but We will Save Our Messengers

And Thus, the Lord will Keep him Alive and will Not Deliver him to the Will of his Enemies, for it is an Obligation upon Us that We Save the Believers

30:47, Qur'an
We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and support of the believers was truly upon Us -

14:13, Qur'an
[For] those who disbelieved said to their messengers, "We will surely drive you out of our land, or you must return to our religion." So their Lord inspired to them, "We will surely destroy the wrongdoers."

2 Peter 2:5, Gospel
[Thus God] did not spare the old world, but saved Noah, the eighth [person], a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

26:116, Qur'an
[For] they said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be among those who are stoned."

29:24, Qur'an
And there was no answer from [Abraham's] people except that they said, "Kill him or burn him," but God saved him from the fire.  Indeed there are signs in that for a people who believe.

27:56, Qur'an
[And] there was no answer from [Lot's] people except that they said, "Expel the family of Lot from your city.  Indeed, they are men who keep themselves pure."

2 Peter 2:7, Gospel
[So God] delivered the just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked.

27:49, Qur'an
[And] they said, "Take a mutual oath by God that we will kill [Salih] by night, him and his family.  Then we will say to his protector, 'We did not witness the destruction of his family, and indeed, we are truthful.'"

11:66, Qur'an
So when Our command came, We saved Salih and those who believed with him, by mercy from Us, and [saved them] from the disgrace of that day. Indeed, it is your Lord who is the Powerful, the Almighty.

7:88, Qur'an
[And] the eminent who were arrogant among [Shu'ayb's] people said, "We will surely evict you, O Shu'ayb, and those who have believed with you from our city, or you must return to our religion."  He said, "Even if we were unwilling?"

11:94, Qur'an
[So] when Our command came, We saved Shu'ayb and those who believed with him, by mercy from Us. And the shriek seized those who had wronged, and they became [corpses] fallen prone within their homes.

40:26, Qur'an
And Pharaoh said, "Let me kill Moses and let him call upon his Lord.  Indeed, I fear that he will change your religion or that he will cause corruption in the land."

Psalms 106:10, Torah
[So] He saved [Moses and our fathers] from the hand of him who hated [them], and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

Luke 23:21, Gospel
[And] they cried, saying, "Crucify [Jesus], crucify him."

Psalms 41:2, Torah
[But] the Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; [and] he will be blessed upon the earth, and You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.

10:103, Qur'an
[For] We will save Our messengers and those who have believed. Thus, it is an obligation upon Us that We save the believers.

37:171 - 172, Qur'an
[For] Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers,
[that] indeed, they would be those given help -

40:5, Qur'an
[For] the people of Noah denied before them and the factions after them, and every nation intended [a plot] for their messenger to seize him, and they disputed by falsehood [to attempt] to refute the truth thereby.  So I seized them, and how was My penalty.

Psalms 37:38 - 40, Torah
[Thus] the transgressors will be destroyed together, the end of the wicked will be cut off.
But the salvation of the righteous [is] of the Lord, [He is] their strength in the time of trouble.  And the Lord will help them, and deliver them, He will deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him.

Pilate Sought to Release Jesus and Said, "I am Innocent of the Blood of this Just Person, See to it," and so as the Soldiers of Pilate Came Out, they Found a Man of Cyrene, they Compelled him to Bear Jesus' Cross Instead

For God is the Best of Planners, for He Said, "I will Speak in a Dream," and Thus, his Wife Said to Pilate, "I have Suffered Many Things in a Dream Because of Jesus, so Have Nothing to do with that Just Man"

Matthew 27:1 - 2, Gospel
When the morning had come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death.
And when they had bound him, they led [him] away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate, the governor.

43:79, Qur'an
[So] have they devised [some] affair?  But indeed, We are devising [a plan] -

Matthew 27:19, Gospel
And [thus,] when [Governor Pilate] had set down on the judgement seat, his wife sent to him, saying, "Have nothing to do with that just man, for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him" -

42:51, Qur'an
[For] it is not for any human being that God should speak to them except by inspiration, or from behind a partition, or that He sends a messenger to reveal, by His permission, what He wills.  Indeed, He is Most High and Wise.

Numbers 12:6, Torah
And [so] He said, "Hear My words now, if there is a prophet among you, [I] the Lord will make Myself known to him in a vision, [and] will speak to him in a dream."

John 19:9 - 10, Gospel
And [so Pilate] went again into the judgement hall, and says to Jesus, "Where are you from?"  But Jesus gave him no answer.
Then Pilate says to him, "Do you not speak to me?  Do you not know that I have power to crucify you, and have power to release you?"

John 19:11, Gospel
Jesus answered, "You could have no power [at all] against me, except [if] it were given to you from Above, therefore he who delivered me to you has the greater sin."

John 19:12, Gospel
And from thenceforth, Pilate sought to release him, but the Jews cried out, saying, "If you let this man go, you are not Caesar's friend, whosoever makes himself a king speaks against Caesar."

Luke 23:14 - 16, Gospel
[So Pilate] said to them, "You have brought this man to me, as one who perverts the people, and behold, I, having examined [him] before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof you accuse him;
no, nor yet Herod, for I sent you to him; and look, nothing worthy of death is done to him. I will therefore chastise him, and release [him]."

Luke 23:20 - 21, Gospel
Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spoke to them again.
But they cried, saying, "Crucify [him], crucify him."

Matthew 27:23, Gospel
And the governor said, "Why, what evil has he done?"  But they cried out the more, saying, "Let him be crucified."

Matthew 27:24, Gospel
When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but [that] rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed [his] hands before the multitude, saying, "I am innocent of the blood of this just person, see [to it]."

Matthew 27:27 - 28, Gospel
[And so] the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered the whole band [of soldiers] to him.
And [the soldiers of Pilate] stripped him, and put a scarlet robe on him.

Matthew 27:31 - 32, Gospel
And after they had mocked him, [the soldiers of Pilate] took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify [him].
And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name, [the soldiers of Pilate] compelled [Simon] to bear [Jesus'] cross.

4:157, Qur'an
And [thus] they did not kill [Jesus], nor did they crucify him; but [Simon] was made to resemble him to them.  And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it.  They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption.  And they did not kill him, for certain -

Psalms 33:10, Torah
[For] the Lord brings the counsel of the heathen to nothing, He makes the devices of the people of none effect.

3:54 - 55, Qur'an
And [thus the disbelievers] planned, but God planned.  And God is the best of planners.
When God said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take your soul and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection.  Then your return is to Me, and I will judge between you concerning those [matters] in which you used to differ."

Jesus Said, "When the Comforter has Come, he will Expose the World of Righteousness, Because I Go to Him who Sent me," so We Exposed them for their Saying, "We Killed Jesus," Rather, God Raised him to Himself

For in the Time of Trouble, He will Take me Up and Cause me to Escape and Hide me in His Pavilion and Set me Up Upon a Rock

Luke 9:30 - 31, Gospel
[Remember that] behold, two men talked with [Jesus] there, who were Moses and Elijah,
who appeared in glory, and they spoke of his exodus which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.

Luke 9:51, Gospel
[So] it came to pass, when the time had come that he should ascend, he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem.

John 7:33, Gospel
Then Jesus said to [his disciples], "Yet a little while I am with you, and [then] I go to Him who sent me.

John 16:7 - 8, Gospel
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send him to you.
And when he has come, he will expose the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement.

John 16:10, Gospel
Of righteousness, because I go to [God], and you see me no more" -

4:158, Qur'an
[For] God raised [Jesus] to Himself.  And God is Almighty and Wise.

4:157, Qur'an
[So We exposed the world of righteousness for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Christ, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of God."  And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them.

Psalms 27:5, Torah
[For the Christ said in the prophecies of Psalms,] "In the time of trouble, He will hide me in His pavilion, He will hide me in the secret of His tent; He will set me up upon a rock.

Psalms 32:7, Torah
[And thus,] You [are] my hiding place; You will preserve me from trouble; You will encompass me about with songs of deliverance.

Psalms 143:9, Torah
[So] deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies, I flee to You to hide me.

Psalms 71:2 - 4, Torah
Deliver me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape, incline Your ear to me, and save me.
Be my strong habitation, whereto I may continually resort, You have given commandment to save me; for You [are] my Rock and my Fortress.  Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

Psalms 41:10 - 11, Torah
[So] You, O Lord, be merciful to me, and raise me up [to You], so that I may requite them.
By this, I know that You favor me, because my enemy does not triumph over me.

Psalms 27:6, Torah
[For] now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tent; I will sing, indeed, I will sing praises to the Lord.

Psalms 31:8, Torah
[For] You have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy, You have set my feet in a large room.

Psalms 118:5, Torah
[For] I called upon the Lord in distress, the Lord answered me, [and set me] in a large place.

Psalms 27:10, Torah
[Whereby,] when my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up."

3:55, Qur'an
[For] God said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take your soul and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then your return is to Me, and I will judge between you concerning those [matters] in which you used to differ."

Evil Men Preached that Jesus Died, but Rose Again, Among whom, Paul is Deceived, for Satan Pursued him and he Became Among the Deviators

Colossians 1:18, Gospel
And [so Paul said, "Jesus] is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead;"

But Elisha had Already Restored a Dead Body to Life, and Jesus himself had Already Raised Lazarus from the Dead

22:52 - 53, Qur'an
We did not send any messenger or prophet before you except that when Satan desired, he threw in his [own] desire [into His verses]. But God abrogates that [falsehood] which Satan throws in [His verses]; then God makes His verses precise. And God is Knowing and Wise.
[That is] so He may make what [falsehood] Satan throws in a trial for those who have disease in their hearts and those hard of heart. And indeed, the wrongdoers are in extreme dissension.

7:175, Qur'an
[So] recite the news to them of the one whom We gave [knowledge of] Our verses to, but he detached himself from them; so Satan pursued him, and he became among the deviators -

Acts 26:23, Gospel
[For remember that Paul said,] "That the Christ should suffer, [and] that he should be the first who should rise from the dead,

2 Kings 8:5, Torah
[Then did Paul not remember] how [Elisha] had [already] restored a dead body to life? [Then] behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, "My lord, O king, this [is] the woman, and this [is] her son, whom Elisha restored to life."

1 Kings 17:22, Torah
[For] the Lord [had] heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.

John 12:1, Gospel
[Or did Paul not remember that] Jesus, six days before the passover, came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, who had been dead, whom he raised from the dead?

Luke 7:12, Gospel
[And moreover,] when [Jesus] came near the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow, and many people of the city were with her.

Luke 7:13 - 14, Gospel
And when the master saw her, he had compassion on her, and said to her, "Do not weep."
And he came and touched the bier, and those who bore [him] stood still. And he said, "Young man, I say to you, 'Arise.'"

Luke 7:15, Gospel
And he who was dead sat up, and began to speak. And [Jesus] delivered him to his mother.

3:49, Qur'an
And [thus God made Jesus] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who said], "Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I create [something] like the form of a bird for you from clay, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of God. And I cure the blind and the leper, and I give life to the dead - by permission of God. And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed there is a sign in that for you, if you are believers."

[Gospel of Barnabas 222:1], Gospel
[But] after Jesus had departed, the disciples scattered through the different parts of Israel and the world, and the truth, hated by Satan, was persecuted, as it always is, by falsehood. For certain evil men, pretending to be disciples, preached that Jesus died and did not rise again. Others preached that he really died, but rose again. Others preached, and yet preach, that Jesus is the son of God, among whom, Paul is deceived. But we, as much as I have written, we preach to those who fear God, so that they may be saved in the Last Day of God's Judgement.

Abraham Fulfilled that No Bearer of Burdens will Bear the Burden of Another

Hebrews 9:28, Gospel
[But they say,] "The Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many;"

So do Not be Deceived, for Every Man will Bear his Own Burden, and he will Have Rejoicing in himself and Not in Another

53:37 - 41, Qur'an
Abraham fulfilled [his obligations] -
that no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another and that there is nothing for man except that for which he strives and that his effort is going to be seen - then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense.

3:69, Qur'an
[And yet] a faction of the people of the Scripture wish they could mislead you.  But they do not mislead [anyone] except themselves, and they do not perceive -

1 Corinthians 15:3, Gospel
[For they say,] "The Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures;

Galatians 6:7, Gospel
[So] do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Ezekiel 18:20, Torah
[And thus,] the soul that sins, it will die [for its own iniquities].  The son will not bear the iniquity of the father, neither will the father bear the iniquity of the son, the righteousness of the righteous will be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon him.

4:111, Qur'an
And [so] whoever commits a sin only earns it against himself.  And God is Knowing and Wise.

Colossians 3:25, Gospel
[And thus] he who does wrong will receive for the wrong which he has done, and there is no partiality.

37:39, Qur'an
[Thus] you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do -

Jeremiah 17:10, Torah
[For] I the Lord search the heart, [I] test the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, [and] according to the fruit of his doings.

Romans 2:5 - 6, Gospel
But after your hardness and impenitent heart, you treasure up wrath to yourself against the Day of Wrath, and revelation of the righteous Judgement of God,
who will render to every man according to his deeds.

[Sirach 11:26], Torah
For it is an easy thing to the Lord in the day of death to reward a man according to his ways.

Ecclesiastes 12:14, Torah
For God will bring every work into Judgement, with every secret thing, whether [it is] good, or whether [it is] evil.

17:14 - 15, Qur'an
[It will be said], "Read your record. You are sufficient as an accountant against yourself this Day."
Whoever is guided is only guided for his soul.  And whoever errs only errs against it.  And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another.

Galatians 6:4 - 5, Gospel
But [rather,] let every man prove his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
For every man will bear his own burden.

4:123, Qur'an
[And thus Paradise] is not [obtained] by your wishful thinking nor by the wishful thinking of the People of the Scripture - [for] whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and he will not find a savior or a helper besides God.

6:164, Qur'an
[So] say, "Is it [something] other than God I should desire as a lord while He is the Lord of all things?  And every soul does not earn [blame] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another.  Then your return is to your Lord, and He will inform you concerning those [matters] in which you used to differ."

They have No Knowledge who Set up the Wood Cross and Pray to a god that Cannot Save, for I, Even I, am the Lord; and There is No Savior Beside Me

But There are None from the People of the Scripture but that he will Believe in Jesus [as Savior], yet he will Say, "I Never Knew you, Depart from me, you who Work Iniquity"

Isaiah 45:20, Torah
[So] assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you [who have] escaped of the nations, they have no knowledge who set up the wood [cross] of their graven image, and pray to a god [that] cannot save.

Isaiah 45:21, Torah
Tell [them] and bring [them] near; indeed, let them take counsel together, who has declared this from ancient time? [Who] has told it from that time? [Have] I [not told it], the Lord? And [there is] no god beside Me; a just God and a Savior; [there are] none beside Me.

4:159, Qur'an
[But] there are none from the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in Jesus [as Lord and Savior] before his death.  And on the Day of Resurrection, he will be a witness against them -

Matthew 7:22 - 23, Gospel
[For Jesus said,] "Many will say to me in that Day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name [O Jesus, my Lord and Savior]?  And in your name [O Lord Jesus] we have cast out devils?  And in your name [O Lord Jesus] done many wonderful works?'
And then I will profess to them, 'I never knew you, depart from me, you who work iniquity.'"

Luke 13:26 - 27, Gospel
[But] then you will begin to say, "We have eaten and drunk in your presence, and you have taught in our streets."
But [Jesus] will say, "I tell you, I do not know from where you are, depart from me, workers of iniquity."

Psalms 53:4, Torah
[So] do the workers of iniquity have no knowledge?  Who eats up my people [as] they eat bread, they have not called upon God.

Isaiah 43:11 - 12, Torah
"[For] I, [even] I, [am] the Lord; and [there is] no savior beside Me.
I have declared, and have saved, and I have shown, when [there was] no strange [god] among you, therefore you [are] My witnesses," the Lord says, "That I [am] God -

Hosea 13:4, Torah
I [am] the Lord your God from the land of Egypt, and you will know no god but Me, for [there is] no savior beside Me.

Isaiah 45:22, Torah
[So] look to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth, for I [am] God, and [there are] none else."

Deuteronomy 32:37 - 39, Torah
And He will say, "Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted,
which ate the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings?  Let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.  See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with Me, I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal, neither are there any that can deliver out of My hand.

18:102, Qur'an
Then do those who disbelieve think that they can take My servants instead of Me as saviors?  Indeed, We have prepared Hell for the disbelievers as a lodging."

45:10, Qur'an
[And thus,] Hell [will be] before them, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken as saviors besides God. And they will have a great punishment.

42:46, Qur'an
And there will not be any saviors for them to aid them other than God. And whoever God sends astray - there is no way for him.

[Sirach 24:24], Torah
[But] do not faint to be strong in the Lord; so that He may confirm you, cleave to Him; for the Lord Almighty is God alone, and there is no other savior beside Him.

6:51, Qur'an
[So] warn by the Qur'an those who fear that they will be gathered before their Lord - there will be no savior and no intercessor for them besides Him - so that they might fear [God].

42:9, Qur'an
Or have they taken saviors [or allies] besides Him? But God - He is the Savior, and He gives life to the dead, and He is Powerful over all things.
