John 5:28 - 29, Gospel
"[So] do not marvel at this, for the Hour is coming, in which all who are in the graves will hear his voice, and will come forth; those who have done good, to the Resurrection of life; and they who have done evil, to the Resurrection of damnation."
34:7 - 8, Qur'an
But those who disbelieve say, "Shall we direct you to a man who will inform you [that] when you have disintegrated in complete disintegration, you will [then] be [recreated] in a new creation? Has he invented about God a lie or is he possessed by [devils of] jinn?" Rather, they who do not believe in the Hereafter will be in the punishment and [are in] extreme error -
76:27 - 29, Qur'an
[For] indeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them a grave Day. We have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration. Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way.
23:82 - 83, Qur'an
[For] they said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples."
50:2 - 5, Qur'an
[And so] they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition.
11:7 - 8, Qur'an
[For] it is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days - and His Throne had been upon water - that He might test you as to which of you is best in deed." But if you say, "Indeed, you are resurrected after death," those who disbelieve will surely say, "This is not but obvious magic." And if We hold back from them the punishment for a limited time, they will surely say, "What detains it?" Unquestionably, on the Day it comes to them, it will not be averted from them, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule -
1 Corinthians 15:51, Gospel
[So] behold, I show you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the Last Trump, for the Trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed -
John 3:5 - 7, Gospel
"[So] verily, verily, I say to you, 'Unless a man is born of water and the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.' [For] that which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'"
Do they not see that God, who created the heavens and earth, is Able to create the likes of them [in a new creation]? And He has appointed for them a term, about which there is no doubt. But the wrongdoers refuse [anything] except disbelief -
15:45 - 48, Qur'an
[But] indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs. [They will be told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other. No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed.
Revelation 21:4, Gospel
And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither will there be any more pain, for the former things passed away.
35:34 - 35, Qur'an
And they will say, "Praise to God, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative - He who has settled us in the home of duration out of His bounty. There touches us not in it any fatigue, and there touches us not in it weariness [of mind]."
7:57 - 58, Qur'an
And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy until, when they have carried heavy rain clouds, We drive them to a dead land and We send down rain therein and bring forth thereby [some] of all the fruits. Thus will We bring forth the dead; perhaps you may be reminded. And the good land - its vegetation emerges by permission of its Lord; but that which is bad - nothing emerges except sparsely, with difficulty. Thus do We diversify the signs for a people who are grateful.
They ask you, about the Hour, when is its arrival? Say, "Its knowledge is only with my Lord. None will reveal its time except Him. It lays heavily upon the heavens and the earth. It will not come upon you except unexpectedly." They ask you as if you are familiar with it. Say, "Its knowledge is only with God, but most of the people do not know -"
21:38 - 40, Qur'an
[For] they [continue to] say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?" If those who disbelieved but knew the time when they will not avert the Fire from their faces or from their backs and they will not be aided... Rather, it will come to them unexpectedly and bewilder them, and they will not be able to repel it, nor will they be reprieved.
Isaiah 47:11, Torah
Therefore evil will come upon you; you will not know from where it rises, and mischief will fall upon you; you will not be able to put it off, and desolation will come upon you suddenly, [which] you will not know -
Mark 13:32 - 33, Gospel
[For] of that Day and [that] Hour knows no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son [of man], but the [Creator]. [So] take heed, watch and pray, for you do not know when the time is -
1 Thessalonians 5:2 - 3, Gospel
For you yourselves know perfectly that the Day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they will say, 'Peace and safety;' then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they will not escape.
[Sirach 5:7], Torah
[So] make no delay to turn to the Lord, and do not put off from day to day; for suddenly the wrath of the Lord will come forth, and in your security, you will be destroyed, and perish in the Day of Vengeance.
