85:2
And [by] the promised Day
85:3
And [by] the witness and what is witnessed,
85:4
The companions of the trench were destroyed
85:5
[By] the fire full of fuel,
85:6
When they were sitting near it
85:7
And they were witnesses to what they were doing against the believers.
85:8
And they did not resent them except because they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy,
85:9
To whom [belongs] the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And God is Witness over all things.
85:10
Indeed, those who have persecuted the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Gehenna, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.
85:11
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have Gardens in which rivers will flow beneath them. That is the great success.
85:12
Indeed, the assault of your Lord is severe.
85:13
Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats.
85:14
And He is the Forgiving, the Loving,
85:15
Glorious Owner of the Throne,
85:16
Effecter of what He intends.
85:17
Has the story of the soldiers reached you -
85:18
[Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud?
85:19
But those who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial,
85:20
While God encompasses them from behind.
85:21
But this is a Glorious Qur'an
