The Great Serpent Dragon, who is Called Satan and the Devil, was from the Jinn, he was Cast Out of the Garden
For he was Arrogant, he Said, "I am Better Than Adam, for You Created me from Fire"

[Indeed, God] created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.

[For] Iblees was arrogant and became among the disbelievers.

When Moses Threw his Staff, it Became a Serpent, and he Saw it Writhing as if it was a Jinn
26:32, Qur'an
So [remember when Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a clear serpent.
28:31, Qur'an
[And thus, when] he saw it writhing as if it was a jinn, he turned in flight and did not return. [God said], "O Moses, approach and do not fear. Indeed, you are among the secure." [Also repeated in 27:10]
And thus, these verses show that jinn writhe like serpents.
