God Commands us to Face the House of Abraham, but What if we No Longer Know Where it is?

Or were you a Witness When God Charged [Muhammad with Where Bakkah is]?

So do Not Invent Falsehood About God or Pursue that of which you have No Knowledge [and Say "Mecca, Saudi Arabia is Bakkah," or "Petra, Jordan is Bakkah"]

10:69, Qur'an
Say, "Indeed, those who invent falsehood about God will not succeed."

[6:144], Qur'an
Or were you witnesses when God charged [Muhammad] with [where Bakkah is]? Then who is more wrong than one who invents a lie about God to mislead the people by [something] other than knowledge? Indeed, God does not guide the wrongdoing people.

17:36, Qur'an
[So] do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - [one] will be questioned about all those
-

28:75, Qur'an
[For] We will extract a witness from every nation and say, "Produce your proof," and they will know that the truth [belongs] to God, and that which they used to invent [will be] lost from them.

Then does "Maqam Ibrahim" in Mecca Fulfill the Clear Sign of the Standing Place of Abraham?

[In their Hadiths,] Mahmoud ibn Ghailan narrated to us that Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, that Sufyan al-Thawri informed us, from Jafar ibn Muhammad, from his father, from Jabir:

He performed two Rak'ah while the Maqam was between him and the House. - Jami` at-Tirmidhi

The Maqam Ibrahim is clearly in the way of those circumambulating the House, and if there were also people praying near it as God commands, then they would be even more disruptive for those trying to circulate the House. And so logically, the outside would be for people circulating the House, whereas the inside would be designated for people praying, just as Abraham would have logically stood inside the House to pray. But people are not allowed inside the Kaaba in Mecca to pray, and so it remains almost perpetually empty.

But sacrifices are not done at the Kaaba in Mecca or even near it as 22:33 commands believers to do, nor would cattle or camels reasonably fit through the door.

Furthermore, they Invented Lies and Innovated the "Black Stone" at the Kaaba in Mecca, which God did Not Appoint

[Whereby they say in their Hadiths that] Ahmad ibn Sinan told us that Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us that Waraqah informed us that Zayd ibn Aslam related from his father, who said:

"I saw `Umar bin Al-Khattab kissing the Black Stone and he then said, (to it) 'Had I not seen Allah's Apostle kissing you, (stone) I would not have kissed you.'" - Sahih al-Bukhari

[5:103 - 104], Qur'an
[But] God has not appointed [such innovations as the Black Stone or kissing the Black Stone]. But those who disbelieve invent lies about God, and most of them do not reason.
[For] when it is said to them, "Come to what God has sent down and to the messenger," they say, "That which we found our fathers upon is sufficient for us." Even though their fathers knew nothing, nor were they guided.

But if the Kaaba in Mecca is Not the House of Abraham, and we do Not Know Where Bakkah is, Then Where do we Face and Where do we Pilgrimage to?

First, Keep in Mind that a Pilgrimage to the House is Only for whoever is Able to Find a Way Thereto and for whoever has Made the Pilgrimage Obligatory upon himself

3:97, Qur'an
[Due] to God from the people is a Pilgrimage [Hajj] to the House - for whoever is able [to find] a way thereto. But whoever disbelieves - then indeed, God is Free from need of the worlds.

2:197, Qur'an
[And know that the] Pilgrimage [Hajj] is [during] well-known months, [for] whoever has made Pilgrimage [Hajj] obligatory upon himself therein.

But Then Where do we Face? So Know that the East and the West Belong to God, so Wherever you Might Turn, There is the Face of God

But Turn Away from their Direction of Prayer [Toward Mecca] and do Not Follow their Desires After what has Come to you of Knowledge, for you would Then be Among the Wrongdoers

2:115, Qur'an
The east and the west [belong] to God. So wherever you [might] turn, there is the Face of God. Indeed, God is Encompassing and Knowing.

[2:142], Qur'an
[But] the foolish among the people will say, "What has turned them away from their direction of prayer [toward Mecca], which they used to face?" [So] say, "The east and the west [belong] to God. He guides whomever He wills to a straight path."

[2:145], Qur'an
[But] if you brought every sign to those who were given the Book, they would not follow your direction of prayer. Nor will you be a follower of their direction of prayer. Nor would they be followers of one another's direction of prayer. So if you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, indeed, you would then be among the wrongdoers -

2:147 - 148, Qur'an
[For] the truth is from your Lord, so never be among the doubters.
For each [religious following] is a direction toward which it faces. So race to [all that is] good -

2:177, Qur'an
[For] righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but righteousness is one who believes in God, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets, and gives wealth, [in spite of] love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask, and [for freeing] slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives purifying [alms]; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in suffering, hardship, and a time of battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who fear [God].
