"Mount" Kailash is the 1/3 Remains of the Tower of Babel, which was a Pyramid

The lines of the steps of the Pyramid of Babel are still clearly visible on "Mount" Kailash, which still stands nearly 22,000 feet in altitude after all but 1/3 of it was destroyed by God.

They Built the Tower [Pyramid] of Babel to Reach the Heavens, so God Destroyed it, but the Top Third of it is Left to this Day, and its Circumference is a Three Days' Walk

[And this three day's walk is preserved today by Buddhists and Hindus,] "Traditionally, Mt. Kailash tour is done with the 3-day [33 mile] trek around holy Mt. Kailash [6.6 km in elevation]." - TibetTravel.org

Then have they Not Traveled through the Land and Observed How the End was for those Before? They were Greater than them in Power and Built it up More than they have Built it up

Genesis 11:4, Torah
[So remember when] they said, "Go, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top [may reach] to the heavens;"

8:31, Qur'an
[But] when Our verses are recited to them, they say, "We have certainly heard. If we willed, we could say [something] like this. This is nothing but legends of the former [peoples]."

30:9, Qur'an
[Then] have they not traveled through the earth and observed how the end was for those before them? They were greater than them in power, and they dug the earth and built it up more than they have built it up, and their messengers came to them with clear evidences. And it was not God wronging them, but they were wronging themselves -

[Book of Jasher 9:25], Torah
[For] the building of the tower [the pyramid of Babel] was a transgression and a sin to them, and they began to build it, and while they were building against the Lord God of heaven, they imagined in their hearts to war against Him and to ascend into heaven.

38:10 - 11, Qur'an
[So] let them ascend [into heaven] through [any] ways of access.
[They are merely] soldiers [who will be] defeated there among the companies [of disbelievers].

34:9, Qur'an
[For] if We should will, We could cause the earth to swallow [their tower] or let fragments from the heaven fall upon [their tower]. Indeed, there is a sign in that for every servant turning back [to God] -

[Book of Jasher 9:38], Torah
[For] as for the tower which the sons of men built, the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up one third part thereof, and a fire also descended from heaven and burned another third, and the other third is left to this day [now known as "Mount" Kailash], and it is of that part which was aloft, and its circumference is a three days' walk.

[And this three day walk is preserved today in the Buddhist and Hindu] "three-day [33 mile] clockwise walk around Mt Kailash [6.6 km high, which] is one of Asia's classic treks." - LonelyPlanet.com

40:81 - 82, Qur'an
And [thus,] He shows you His signs. So which of the signs of God do you deny?
[Or] have they not traveled through the land and observed how the end was for those before them? They were more numerous than themselves and greater in strength and in impression on the land, but they were not availed by what they used to earn.

6:4 - 5, Qur'an
[But] no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they turn away therefrom.
For they had denied the truth when it came to them, but the news of what they used to ridicule is going to reach them.

Those Before had Explored throughout the Whole Earth to Build the Tower and Found None Like it - a Large Extensive Stone [the Tibetan Plateau]

And they used Clay which Came Out of the Sea [Rakshas Tal Sea] and Fountains of Water [Lake Manasarovar]

50:36 - 37, Qur'an
[So] how many generations did We destroy before them who were greater than them in power and had explored throughout the lands. Is there any place of escape?
Indeed, there is a reminder in that for whoever has a heart or who listens while he is present [in mind] -

[Book of Jasher 9:23], Torah
[For before they began to build the tower to heaven,] all the families assembled and they sought in the whole earth, consisting of about six hundred thousand men, they went to seek an extensive piece of ground to build the city and the tower, and they found none like it, a large stone, very extensive, and the whole plain [the highest plateau on earth, the Tibetan Plateau, with an average elevation of 4.5 km], and they dwelt there, as it is said, "And they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there."

[Book of Jasher 9:24], Torah
And they began to make bricks and burn fires to build the city and the tower that they had imagined to complete.

[Book of Jubilees 10:29], Torah
And [so] they began to build, and in the fourth week, they made brick with fire, and the bricks served them for stone, and the clay with which they cemented them together was asphalt, which comes out of the sea [Rakshas Tal Sea], and out of the fountains of water [Lake Manasarovar] in the land of Shinar.

[Book of Jasher 9:27], Torah
And when they were building, they built themselves a great city and a very high and strong tower; and on account of its height, the mortar and bricks did not reach the builders in their ascent to it, until those who went up had completed a full year, and after that, they reached the builders and gave them the mortar and the bricks; thus was it done daily.

[Book of Jasher 9:28], Torah
And behold, these ascended and others descended the whole day; and if a brick should fall from their hands and get broken, they would all weep over it and say, "Woe is us! When will another one come in its stead?" And if a man fell and died, none of them would look at him.

[Book of Jasher 9:31], Torah
And they did this thing daily until many days and years had elapsed and they built the tower and the city.

Just south of "Mount" Kailash is a high altitude salt water sea, called Rakshas Tal, and next to it is a high altitude fresh water lake, called Manasarovar.
