Warn of the Day the Trumpet will be Blown - the Day the Caller will Call Out

They will be Told, "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to Deny"

78:17 - 18, Qur'an
Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time -
the Day the Trumpet is blown and you will come forth in multitudes.

37:19 - 21, Qur'an
[Indeed,] it will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing.
They will say, "O woe to us!  This is the Day of Religion."  [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny."

[2 Ezra 6:23], Torah
[And so when] that Trumpet will give a sound, which, when every man hears, they will suddenly be afraid.

36:52 - 53, Qur'an
They will say, "O woe to us!  Who has raised us up from our sleeping place?"  [The reply will be], "This is what the Most Gracious had promised, and the messengers told the truth."
It will not be but one blast, and at once they are all brought present before Us.

50:41, Qur'an
[So] listen on the Day when the Caller will call out from a place that is near -

Matthew 24:31, Gospel
[For] he will send his angels with a great sound of a Trumpet, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

37:22 - 23, Qur'an
[Then the angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to serve
other than God, and guide them to the path of Hellfire."

Matthew 13:42, Gospel
[And so the angels] will cast them into a furnace of Fire, there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

74:8 - 10, Qur'an
[Thus] when the Trumpet is blown,
that Day will be a difficult day, for the disbelievers - not easy.

Sections of Trumpet

The Shriek Seized those who had Wronged Among the Messengers

And these Disbelievers Await Not but One Blast of the Trumpet

36:48 - 52, Qur'an
[So] they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"
They do not await except one blast which will seize them while they are disputing.  And they will not be able [to give] any instruction, nor to their people can they return.  And the Trumpet will be blown; and at once from the graves to their Lord, they will hasten.  They will say, "O woe to us!  Who has raised us up from our sleeping place?"  [The reply will be,] "This is what the Most Gracious had promised, and the messengers told the truth."

23:32, Qur'an
[For] We sent among them a messenger from themselves, [saying], "Serve God; you have no god other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"

23:38, Qur'an
[But the eminent among their people who disbelieved said,] "He is not but a man who has invented a lie about God, and we will not believe him."

23:41 - 42, Qur'an
So the shriek seized them in truth, and We made them as [plant] stubble.  Then away with the wrongdoing people.
Then We produced after them other generations.

37:133 - 138, Qur'an
And indeed, Lot was among the messengers.
[So remember] when We saved him and his family, all, except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers].  Then We destroyed the others.  And indeed, you pass by them at dawn and at night.  Then will you not use reason?

15:73 - 75, Qur'an
[For] the shriek seized them at sunrise.
And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay.  Indeed in that are signs for those who discern.

15:80- 84, Qur'an
And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers.
And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away.  And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure.  But the shriek seized them at early morning.  So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn.

26:176 - 177, Qur'an
[And] the companions of the thicket denied the messengers,
when Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear God?"

26:189, Qur'an
[But] they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them.  Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day.

11:94 - 95, Qur'an
[For] when Our command came, We saved Shu'ayb and those who believed with him, by mercy from Us.  And the shriek seized those who had wronged, and they became within their homes [corpses] fallen prone
as if they had never prospered therein.  Then, away with Midian as Thamud was taken away.

38:13 - 15, Qur'an
[Thus the tribe of] Thamud [denied before them,] and the people of Lot and the companions of the thicket.  Those are the companies.
Each of them denied the messengers, so My penalty was justified.  And these [disbelievers] await not but one blast [of the Trumpet]; for it there will be no delay.

All the People will Shout with a Great Shout, and the Wall of the City will Fall Down Flat

As on the Day of Resurrection, it will be but One Shout and the Mountains will be Leveled with One Blow

Jeremiah 25:30, Torah
Therefore prophesy against them all these words, and say to them, "The Lord will roar from on high, and utter His voice from His holy habitation; He will mightily roar upon His habitation; He will give a shout, as those who tread [the grapes], against all the inhabitants of the earth."

Joshua 6:10, Torah
And [so] Joshua had commanded the people, saying, "You will not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither will [any] word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you to shout; then you will shout."

Joshua 6:5, Torah
And it will come to pass, that when they make a long [blast] with the ram's horn, [and] when you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people will shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city will fall down flat, and the people will ascend up, every man straight before him.

69:13 - 15, Qur'an
[So likewise,] when the Trumpet is blown with one blast
and the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blow - then on that Day, the Resurrection will occur.

Joshua 6:16 - 17, Torah
And [so] it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said to the people, "Shout; for the Lord has given you the city.
And the city will be accursed, [even] it and all who [are] therein, to the Lord, only Rahab the harlot will live, she and all who [are] with her in the house, because she hid the messengers whom we sent."

39:60 - 61, Qur'an
[So likewise,] on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied about God [with] their faces blackened.  Is there not in Hell a residence for the arrogant?
And God will save those who feared Him by their attainment; no evil will touch them, nor will they grieve.

Joshua 6:20, Torah
So the people shouted when [the priests] blew with the trumpets, and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

20:105 - 107, Qur'an
[So likewise,] they ask you about the mountains [on the Day the Trumpet will be blown], so say, "My Lord will blow them away with a blast.
And He will leave the earth a level plain; you will not see therein any crookedness or any curve."

Isaiah 54:10, Torah
"For the mountains will depart, and the hills will be removed; but My kindness will not depart from you, neither will the covenant of My peace be removed," says the Lord who has mercy on you.

[Shepherd of Hermas 3:4], Gospel
[So] behold, He removes the mountains and the hills and the heavens and the seas, and all things are made level for His elect, that He may fulfill the promise to them which He promised with great glory and rejoicing, if so be that they will keep the ordinances of God, which they received, with great faith."

At Midnight a Cry was Made

Watch Therefore, for you Know Neither the Day, Nor Hour, in which the Heavens will Pass Away with a Great Noise

Matthew 25:1 - 4, Gospel
Then the kingdom of the heavens will be likened to ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
And five of them were wise, and five [were] foolish.  Those who [were] foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them; but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

Matthew 25:5 - 6, Gospel
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
And at midnight a cry was made, "Behold, the bridegroom comes; go out to meet him."

Matthew 25:7 - 8, Gospel
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
And the foolish said to the wise, "Give us of your oil; for our lamps have gone out."

Matthew 25:9, Gospel
But the wise answered, saying, "[Not so]; unless there is not enough for us and you, but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves."

57:13, Qur'an
[And so] on the Day the hypocrite men and hypocrite women will say to those who believed, "Wait for us that we may acquire some of your light."  It will be said, "Go back behind you and seek light."  And a wall will be placed between them with a door, its interior containing mercy, but on the outside of it is torment.

Matthew 25:10 - 11, Gospel
[So] while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut.
Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, "Lord, Lord, open to us."

57:14, Qur'an
[And so] the hypocrites will call to the believers, "Were we not with you?"  They will say, "Yes, but you afflicted yourselves and awaited [misfortune for us] and doubted, and wishful thinking deluded you until there came the command of God.  And the Deceiver deceived you concerning God."

Matthew 25:12 - 13, Gospel
[And thus] he answered and said, "Verily I say to you, I do not know you."
Watch therefore, for you know neither the Day, nor the Hour wherein the Son of man comes.

2 Peter 3:10, Gospel
[For] the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein will be burned up.

The Kingdom of Heaven is Like a Woman who Hid in Three Measures of Meal, for God Revealed the Torah, Gospel, and Qur'an

You will Deny Three Times, but those who Disbelieve in the Verses of God will Have a Severe Punishment

Matthew 13:33, Gospel
[Jesus] spoke another parable to them; "The kingdom of the heavens is like leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, until the whole was leavened."

36:13 - 14, Qur'an
[So likewise] present to them an example: the people of the city, when the messengers came to it -
when We sent to them two but they denied them, so We strengthened them with a third, and they said, "Indeed, we are messengers to you."

36:15, Qur'an
[But] they said, "You are not but human beings like us, and the Most Gracious has not revealed a thing.  You are only telling lies."

61:7 - 8, Qur'an
[So] who is more unjust than one who invents about God untruth while he is being invited to submission [to God]?  And God does not guide the wrongdoing people.
They want to extinguish the light of God with their mouths, but God will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.

40:70, Qur'an
[Thus] those who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers - they are going to know -

3:3 - 4, Qur'an
[That] He has revealed to you, the Qur'an [3] in truth, confirming what was before it.  And He revealed the Torah [1] and the Gospel [2]
before, as guidance for the people.  And He revealed the Criterion.  Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of God will have a severe punishment, and God is Almighty, the Owner of Retribution -

21:92 - 93, Qur'an
[For] indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so serve Me.
And [yet] they divided their affair among themselves, [but] all to Us will return -

79:13 - 14, Qur'an
Indeed, it will be but one shout,
and suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface.

23:105, Qur'an
[And it will be said,] "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?"

Matthew 26:75, Gospel
[And so] Peter remembered the word of Jesus, who said to him, "Before the cock crow, you will deny me three times."  And he went out, and wept bitterly.

34:31, Qur'an
[For] those who disbelieve say, "We will never believe in this Qur'an [3] nor in that before it {the Torah [1] and the Gospel [2]}."  But if you could see when the wrongdoers are made to stand before their Lord, refuting each other's words...  Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "If not for you, we would have been believers."

34:32 - 33, Qur'an
[But] those who were arrogant will say to those who were oppressed, "Did we avert you from guidance after it had come to you?  Rather, you were criminals."
Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "Rather, [it was your] conspiracy of night and day when you were ordering us to disbelieve in God and attribute to Him equals."  But they will [all] confide regret when they see the punishment; and We will put shackles on the necks of those who disbelieved.  Will they be recompensed except for what they used to do?

4:136 - 137, Qur'an
[So] O you who have believed, believe in God and His messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His messenger and the Scripture which He sent down before.  And whoever disbelieves in God, His angels, His Books, His messengers, and the Last Day has certainly gone far astray.
Indeed, those who have believed then disbelieved, then believed, then disbelieved, and then increased in disbelief - never will God forgive them, nor will He guide them to a way.

2:152, Qur'an
So remember Me; I will remember you.  And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.
